This place is always so good at every location I go to. It's a must if your near a beach seems they love to give you menu selections that really do breakfast in Florida right. Can't say I ever try the lobster or scallop omelet but I'm sure they are good. I stick to the basics but they are always done perfect. The French toast or waffle is a good choice but they do the eggs good also. I like the bacon but always go the homemade sausage. I will say it gave me some major heart burn but still good. The only downside is the mugs we finally bought 2 and they were like $17 a piece.. slightly insane. They were repairing the roof when we are not sure that was something that should have been going on a Friday morning. read more

Great food, poor execution. The menu and drinks were awesome. Two of us got the salted caramel spiked coffee and we would definitely recommend. The vanilla coffee is great for those who don't like something too sweet. The supreme omelet and buttermilk pancakes came out great. Unfortunately, the two eggs Benedict - southern style and crab cakes - did not come out correctly. The eggs on the crab cakes came out medium to hard boiled. The southern style Benedict did not have the same ingredients as advertised on the menu and came out cold. The quality of ingredients was great, it just did not come together well. I would give it another chance but was disappointed this time. Just left this place. Been there before and never had an issue but today I decided I will never set foot in there again. Wife and I went for breakfast and was told there would be a 45 min wait. That's bad enough considering all the open tables we saw, but here's the kicker. After 45 mins of watching people who arrived after us get seated, we went to check on our place in line. WE ACTUALLY dropped on the list. It seems that anyone that signs in online, regardless of when they sign in, go to the front of the line. So we waited 45 mins, was once 4th on the list to be seated, had dropped to 9th on the list during our wait. Need to scrap wait list program. We were there an hour and many people waiting outside when noticed 9 open tables outside and 4 inside at 30 minutes into putting our name in. When finally seated there were for indoor tables one of which was for 2 and which I asked about and the hostess seated us outside at a table for 4. It's a pretty busy place - very crowded and loud inside. At first, the staff were slow, but once we ordered we actually got our food pretty quick. I tried out the smoked salmon Benedict - bagel, cream cheese, salmon, and I replaced the poached eggs with egg whites. It was a pretty interesting taste, but I ended up not being a big fan of the combination. Their french toast is pretty tasty too - sugary and fluffy. I would definitely return. This place is really as amazing as described. Started with the Black Cherry Mimosa and a cup of coffee. The Kenya AA coffee here is so dark and rich, its puts any French Roast to shame. I'm not normally a mimosa guy, more of a salty dog kinda kid, but I do love black cherry. This is light and refreshing, but had some body and that awesome black cherry bite. The Lobster Brie omelette, is everything imagined by the description "Cream cheese-filled omelette topped with Brie cheese and champagne sauce sautéed lobster meat tomatoes and green onions." And yes, the flavors were perfectly balanced. Just amazing. I went for the City Grits. What are City Grits? Don't worry, I asked for all of us. Here's the answer - grits with Gouda cheese and topped with tomatoes, green onions and BACON! Totally awesome. Not that I was going to finish this in one sitting, but I had to have "dessert." There was a Kenya AA Coffee Pancake on the holiday menu. After I ordered the main meal, Brook, the awesome bartender who waited on me at the little two-top in the bar area, let me know you can get a single pancake as a side. Yep, that just became dessert. Again, all you would imagine it to be - not overpowering, but just perfectly balanced. No a bad wait on a Sunday morning. There were 8 groups ahead of me around 11:45 am. Being around 10:00am on a Saturday during spring break, I wasn't surprised when I was told the wait would be 40 to 60 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a text after only 15 minutes that the table was ready. I had the Three Cheese Veggie omelette and loved it. My 15 year old had the IPANEMA ESTATE PANCAKES (pancakes infused with coffee). To me, a non coffee drink, I thought the flavor was too strong but my daughter really liked them. Caleb is an excellent waiter. He was very friendly. The food is delicious. I ordered the cinnamon roll french toast and potatoes. My friend ordered a peach cobbler chicken &waffle. Caleb gave us some fresh beignets as a welcome appetizer for being a 1st time guest and even wrote down a list of places to visit while vacationing in the area. The customer service was amazing, and we were queued and seated fairly quickly. I ordered the Southwestern omelette. To preface, I've been dieting for the past few months and have some foods I've been trying to avoid (egg yolks and cheese) and the waitress offered to sub in egg whites and fat-free mozz at no extra cost. There was one minor issue where our order somehow was missed, and we waited 30 minutes before our food arrived. It was no big deal, our waitress apologized profusely. My omelette and home fries were great, only complaint was the guacamole was obviously store bought and not prepared fresh. read more

This was quite likely the BEST breakfast I've had anywhere. We were seated immediately and started with Beignets-- just wow! Personally, I think they're better than Cafe Du Monde, and I've had the pleasure of enjoying them on couple of occasions!!! Heath was our server, and he was on point the entire time. One of us had the omelet, another had an awesome Crab Hollandaise with a fried green tomato instead of an English Muffin, while I had the Pancakes--Blueberry, Goat Cheese and Lemon Zest. The best brunch experience I've ever had! I was in town for the weekend with a friend and we heard good reviews of ABE, and we were so not disappointed! We entered the waitlist from Yelp (15-30min wait) and our timing was perfect, we arrived and were next in the queue. We were seated outside and were very cared for by multiple staff members who promptly brought us our coffee orders. There seemed to be confusion with our table number, and waitresses kept offering us food that we didn't order, which didn't bother us at all since an unclaimed of beignets became ours for free! My friend ordered the Pumpkin Waffle and I ordered the Lobster Benedict pictured below. I have severe allergies and our waiter and the kitchen were so accommodating for me (bonus points! Needless to say, our experience was phenomenal. From our coffees, free beignets, meals, service, and the cute puppies sitting around us. Our server was incredibly funny and sweet; food was ready rather quickly considering how busy it was. Speaking of, we arrived by about 8:30 and we were seated immediately, but by the time we left (about 9:30), there was a wait to be seated, so get there a bit earlier rather than later. But, even if you have to wait, it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. I had the cinnamon roll French toast and it was INCREDIBLE; I also got a side order of biscuit beignets that were great.
