The food was awesome and the service was even better, I will recommend this restaurant who enjoys a very nice hospitality.

If you have never been to one of these, they give you free beignets and a complementary jar. The beignets were excellent! I ordered the salmon power bowl without the jalapeño vinaigrette. It was good. If you are vegan, you could order it sans the salmon and it would be a good option! My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy and it was just okay but not worth the price. He would probably rate this a two star, but because they had a good option for my plant based WOE and because the beignets were awesome, I gave four! I'm Vegan and at first glance the menu of this restaurant has only one item I could eat! Our server told me the Manager Jasmine was going plant based and I could speak with her. Jasmine was so accommodating she checked the bread ingredients. She assured me that my potato's would be cooked separate on a clean grill. Sunday @11:30 We expected a short wait, but when we went in, we were told it would be a minimum of an hour, possibly longer. But this is the catch - I counted 6 empty tables, all ready and set for service, and about 6 more that just needed cleaning. We were probably among a dozen or so people who just turned and walked out. I don't mind a wait, when I can see one is warranted because you are full and busy, but when you tell me it will be an hour, and I see more than enough table to seat all that are waiting, that is unacceptable. We tried this place at 1100 on a Saturday so maybe that was the first issue. We were told the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. An hour and a half later, we were seated. I ordered coffee and water to start. After two requests for water, we finally received it after the other waitress brought our food brought us the water, which was the third request. When I ordered, I ordered the grits as a side and the waitress asked me if I wanted regular grits or city grits but she never said it was $4 extra for city grits. There was a lot of variety on the menu, the strawberry mimosa was good, the food was good and the portions were big. But, in my opinion, it was over priced for breakfast. We decided to come here for an early lunch today and they were clearly very busy with a line out of the door. The staff was very friendly and attentive and got us in as quickly as they possibly could. The food was very good, even though it took awhile to get, and our server Skyler was friendly and always available if we needed anything. I got the biscuit with fried chicken, gravy and an egg and it was delicious! The southwestern scrambler was also top notch. the coffee was very strong and had many creamer options. Me and my wife decided to try this place first after reading about owner and looking for something different for our 21st anniversary. Our waiter was Stephan operations manager and owners grandson. Not only was service top notch but food was awesome he was most accommodating as I am a all meat omelet eater. He said he can create what ever I wanted. My wife had lobster Brie omelet. Highly recommend but very rich. I complemented cook and Stephan sent him to our table. Herman was excellent cook and very customer oriented. You must try this place. You will not be disappointed. More than 1 star only because it had a pleasant atmosphere. I truly wanted to like this place and give high marks since it is a neighborhood restaurant I had hoped to support with my business, but the food was little more than edible. I can't understand how it gets the high marks it does. It was my first of what I hoped would be repeated visits, and first-time visitors supposedly get free pastries. I was told twice they were coming. They never arrived. When I paid the pastries still had not arrived and the server apparently hoped I'd forgotten about them. I asked if I could get them next time since I didn't want to wait. I was given a card for them but doubt I'll ever go back. I ordered the more expensive coffee, and it was obvious that it came from a container that had been sitting on a hot plate for a while - a burnt, nasty taste. Repulsive! The meal came with a sort-of hash brown item. As I ate the potatoes they varied in texture from leathery to little square rocks and were rather tasteless. Once again it seemed they had been sitting out for a while under a heat lamp or something. The other items were similarly underwhelming. I could go on, but to summarize I was extremely disappointed. It was dismally poor quality food. I'll stick to Cracker Barrel or iHop since both have much better breakfasts. read more

Since they open I have tried it and love the food , it's my Sunday morning treat to my family bc it a little expensive for us .. today 2/24, I order lemon blueberry with goat cheese pancakes and stuff other breakfast.. my disappointment when my pancakes came home to me , No lemon and No goat cheese ... Said u she watched her put lemon on it ... sorry might be a fairy dust bc I did not taste or see anything, then she said let me check if they was out of goat cheese ,... came back to phone and said they had it ... ????? I waited to hear if she would make it over or offer me a refund for inconvenience.. silence!!! If I could rate this establishment a zero I would. I came in here for brunch. I walked in and just stood there while someone was standing at the podium and didn't greet me for about 5 minutes. Extremely awkward. I ordered chicken and waffles. The place was nearly empty but took about 30 minutes to bring out the food. I asked the waitress if they had freshly squeezed orange juice. She said yes. But guess what? They brought out regular store bought orange juice. Anyways, my food came out and I was extremely distraught. My waffle had some green coloration on the side. I bit into the chicken and nearly lost a tooth. Why was there no chicken? Why was it all breading? Why did it taste like rocks? Why did my waffle taste like someone made it from a hotel waffle maker? Have you ever had school food? That's how it tasted. Chicken wasn't even together. It was little tiny pieces as if a dog tore it up. Extremely disappointed. read more

This place was utterly disappointing. The only redeeming quality about it was the bartender, Skyler, who was super sweet and accommodating. We walked in around 11:30 and were told that there was a 30 minute wait... (??? - there were so many open tables... lol) so we went to the bar. I got the avo toast which was disgusting. The bread was not toasted, the avocados were very obviously rotten and brown, and the salmon was questionable. My boyfriend's "traditional day starter" was decent but the potatoes that came with it were hard af. Will not be back but Skyler you rock girl!!! read more

The food and staff were wonderful! First timers so we got complimentary biscuit beignets. Must've been a few first timers in today and they were taking longer than expected. The next thing I know the chef herself comes out and apologized for the wait. Very professional. When the beignets and food did come out it was worth the wait. My daughter who is a picky eater ordered the Eggs Benedict and she is still talking about her breakfast. The restaurant is very clean and a nice place to have breakfast, lunch or brunch!! Another broken brunch dream. We went to brunch this morning with such high hopes! We arrived to a busy restaurant and everyone appeared to be enjoying their meals, so that was a good sign. I even had a friend recommend this location as a "really good place to eat". Despite the ending of this story, it started out great. We arrived and were seated within the first 10, maybe 12 minutes of putting our names on the list, despite being told it would be a 30 min wait. So KUDOS to the hostesses! We were sat at a four top near the door to the outside area, which in restaurant land is like the door to the kitchen-in out, in out. A young lady, who later appeared to be the shift supervisor or manager, took our drink orders since our waitress was otherwise occupied. Got our drinks- so far so good! Tropical sangria was a winner! She came back and took our orders. Now at this point we have yet to see or meet our waitress. This is the point in the brunch experience where things go down hill. Long experience short- we sat for over 40 minutes waiting on food. This wouldn't be a concern had our waitress come to our table to check on us, heck introduce herself would've been great too! We never were asked for refills on our drinks, and ultimately had to request the supervisor go check on our food. Our food came out warmer hot, not fresh hot. Our orders were wrong! And my order was so wrong it didn't even resemble the original plate I ordered, missing all key ingredients to a Greek spin on a tater tots (Kalamata olives, goat cheese, and tzatziki sauce). Husband's club should've have been made without the pickled red onions, yet they were nestled beautiful in his club sandwich, soggy bread and all. When we addressed the issues with the supervisor, now our unofficial server, she asked if I wanted her to bring out those ingredients. She was kind, and she wanted to be helpful, but all things considered we will most likely not be back. Because when you go to brunch and leave feeling so disappointed you wish you had room in your stomach for a real brunch... well that leaves too much to be desired to return. read more

My husband, son and I go every Saturday after my son's karate class. There is always a wait but with simple planning ahead and checking in online, we rarely wait more than 2-3 minutes. The food is always amazing! We have had several items on the menu and haven't been disappointed with any of them. One of my favorites is the lobster and Brie omelet. Another broken restaurant. We thought this would be a good choice for a late breakfast, but we will not return. We waited more than 20 minutes after ordering eggs, and 90% of the food items came out cold despite being on warmed plates. I wonder if the plates were warm because they were sitting under a warmer so long. I would not recommend the coffee. I usually drink coffee black if it's good, with milk/cream if it's "ok", but this cup I even had to add sugar it was so bitter. Declined a refill. The "homemade sausage patties" tasted and looked like dressed up hamburger patties. And I might add it did not seem busy. read more
