Had a great meal with my friend. Coffee was super good. Eggs Benedict excellent. My friend had omelette which she said was really good. We had to point out a table was open for five minutes and the hostess said it needed to be cleaned, despite a gentleman telling them 5 minutes earlier that he had cleaned it and put silverware on the table. The best part about our experience were the drinks and that's it. We put our name on the wait list and through the Yelp app and had about a 20 minute wait. When we got to the restaurant at the time we were supposed to be seated it still took 20 minutes for us to be seated, so a 40 minute wait total. We wouldn't have had to wait as long if they would have just cleaned the open tables. In our 20 minute additional wait there were 4 tables that were never touched by staff. The hostess kept saying sorry were busy, when it was a typical brunch day. Not overly packed but a good amount of people. So to leave tables open and telling people walking in the door the wait was 45 minutes to an hour is ridiculous with open tables that just needed to be cleaned. After we were seated we got our drinks which were perfectly fine. Like I said best part of our experience. We ordered our food and it took 40 minutes to get our food and the orders were wrong. One party members ordered the Traditional and it looked like a kids meal. Definitely not worth it. They forgot basically half the ordered. And when they did bring out the sides it wasn't even worth it because the meal was so small. Two eggs looked like a small egg, maybe 10 tater-tots, and the sausage patties were just eh. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict and they forgot the hollandaise sauce....on a Benedict, really? One of my poached eggs was a little under done and the other one was overdone. My side of grits had no flavor and were some of the worst grits I've had. Another party member ordered the Trio Pancakes and they forget the side of grits, eggs, and sausage. The waitress just kept telling us they just busy, but honestly I've seen busier places that could handle orders. When we asked for the check, the waitress gave us the wrong check to top it off. I am incredibly impressed by the owner and his team at this location! The owner has presented incredible leadership every time I have been there. I like the fact that he understands that it is not just good food that makes a place special it is great experiences that keep people coming back. I had a not so remarkable experience on one occasion and he personally took time to hear me. He was careful to listen protect his team members/employees and make a commitment to improve the process to ultimately make our experience with his restaurant a remarkable one. I felt like I was in a live action leadership conference in the trenches with a man who truly cares for his team and the customer experience. In our last conversation he directed me to a book "The Customer Service Revolution". I respected this man so much I ordered the book right away on Audible. Looking forward to the additional wisdom as I am a leader and Entrepreneur as well. read more

My mom and I came here this past weekend for a late breakfast. We've been to one of the Atlanta locations and loved it, so we were excited to have a location in my town. The restaurant was packed and we were told the wait would be about an hour. We put our name on the waitlist and got called back after about 35-40 minutes. When we came up to the hostess stand, the hostess told us that we'd be sitting at the bar. My mom asked her if we could be seated at a table, even if it was outside and that we didn't mind waiting longer. She blew my mom off and told her that we were next in line and that's where we had to sit. She was very rude and dismissive to us, however she was extremely accommodating to the others at the hostess stand with questions as long as they were the same skin color as her. We brushed it off and took our seats at the bar since we had already waited a while to be seated. Thankfully the bartender, Jackie, was extremely friendly, fun and was the saving grace of our poor experience! She was very attentive to us and everyone else at the bar. She multi-tasked between taking orders, making drinks and making sure that we were all taken care of. About 30 minutes into us being seated and having placed our orders (mind you, we had already had drinks and an appetizer at this point), the same rude hostess from earlier had the nerve to come up to my mom and me at the bar and ask if we had been on the waitlist. Really... as if we had walked in, skipped the line and seated ourselves!? We got our food, finished our meal and agreed we would never come back to this location. I don't care how good the food and drinks are... if the employees are rude and don't treat EVERYONE with decency, regardless of skin color, I won't eat at the establishment. We didn't mind the wait, the crowd, or anything else, and I never write reviews, but I didn't appreciate her attitude. If it hadn't been for Jackie and how awesome she was, we would've walked right out. read more

Great Food service and management are terrible. If you don't mind waiting through poor service and terrible dining room seating management the food is really good. We had a party of 9 so we attempted to call ahead they do not take call ahead seating so they instructed us to download the Yelp app in order to get on their wait list but said we are not on a wait. I downloaded the app and it showed 0 wait time until we pulled in the parking lot. After checking in we were told 30-40 mins even though there were 7-8 empty tables and we agreed to split our party. They did eventually split our party by seating us in two booths that were not large enough to seat 5 people and they refused to put a chair at the end citing a fire code that doesn't exist. I could go on and on but needless to say don't be in a hurry here or expect good service. read more

Quality and service is a hit or miss. Wait time was almost an hr last Sunday even though we joined the wait list on yelp while on our way. We also waited a long time for water at the table and for our food. The restaurant had a lot of tables open and a lot of people still sitting waiting so I'm thinking maybe it was a staffing issue? We asked our waitress several times for a sauce and she kept forgetting about us which was very disappointing. She brought it to us when we asked for our check. We also had our pancake returned because it was black and burned on the bottom side. They should never send out burnt food and try to hide it by flipping it over. You waste peoples time that way and get your customers frustrated. The second one we got was very rubbery and tough. We didn't eat it. We love breakfast but might try a different place next Sunday. We've tried this place 3 Sunday's in a row...I also want to add that the menus have been dirty and sticky every time we have been here.
