Walking up to the restaurant you'll see pretty outdoor seating, we would have sat outside but it was early and still brisk. Inside you're greeted by very well mannered staff who have super friendly attitudes! Our waitress was very sweet and quick! Food came out well prepared & presentation was excellent. Everything tasted AMAZING. Will definitely be back

This is about my 5th time visiting this spot...YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GO WRONG...I would encourage anyone to try their Seasonal Menu...I ALWAYS order from the Seasonal Menu & have NEVER been disappointed...this morning I had the Cajun Shrimp & Crawfish Omelette...Whomever is doing the cooking DEFINITELY knows what they are doing...Again, you will not go wrong with the Seasonal Menu...the service is always great

One of my favorite breakfast spots in the area. They always have something new and delicious to try on the menu. We were able to get in and out in no time. It's best if you have a group to check in online for faster service. My only complaint is the table we were sat at was way too small for our plates and it had very low lighting.

Really enjoyed our breakfast. Didn't have much time, but the staff was quick to take our order and the food came out relatively quickly. Great food great experience at a good price. I'll definitely come back.

First time & I'd come back again. I got the cinnamon roll French toast. Really good. The host was chatty and bubbly and our server was helpful. We sat outside and it was pretty clean, no sticky table here. My only complaint is the price of coffee- $3.89 and it was less than average imo

The service and atmosphere are exceptional. Our server cat was well informed of the menu and was willing to explain any of our questions. We will definitely be back again.

Great experience at this location. Was sat quickly despite it being busy. I had the blta which gives you massive pieces of bacon and the seafood gumbo. This was just ok was missing some extra seasonings but the meat and veggies in it were hearty.

The servers were very pleasant with our preferences. Since green salad wasn't available, they gave us a simple fruit salad instead

Everything John recommended was top tier, the shrimp And Grits, the Benedict with shrimp and sausage , DEFINITELY 10/10!

Trendy breakfast spot with seasonal breakfast specials. Emily made great recommendations especially about these biscuits.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch h while in to visit family. We were seated immediately, and our waitress Melanie came over immediately to take our order and answer any questions. Both of ours flatware were very city with bits of food still stuck the fork and had to be exchanged. Melanie got us a new set immediately. I ordered the Lemon Blueberry Pancakes with goat cheese and eggs and bacon. The pancakes were really good with the goat cheese, and the chicken sausage tasted great also, but the egg came out very cold. My wife had the city grits and thought they were great. We early enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the pricing was very reasonable. Definitely will visit again.

If you mention it's your first time or you take someone for first time you get free beignets.Which are so delicious.

This is my favorite place to visit for brunch in Shreveport. The food is chef kiss and service is also great. Just make sure to make a reservation on weekends. It stays busy for the best food and customer service.

Has ANYONEeve made a reservation on this Yelp app? I'm not sure if I did it correctly or if I even kow what I am doing. Can there be a short tutorial on how its done?

Using my I phone I made reservations simply by using Siri who set my time. I had no problems in fact those who used the app will go to the front of the waiting list. Hope this helps.

To be fair when we walked in there were multiple big tables just sat in front of us. Took my Midwest husband here while we were in town for fights. And he got to eat REAL grits for the first time. That did not even matter though!!! Jazz was our server and she was amazing, the food was so damn good!!! The best chicken and waffles my husband has ever had, and grits that would put my Granny's to shame. Wish I would have taken pics first... But we devoured the plates! The room was beautiful in a quiet, elegant way, thoughtfully put together, warm and welcoming. And the people... every single waitress greeted us with kindness, but Miss Tammy -- oh, she was something special. The kind of person who makes you feel like you've known her forever. So sweet, so genuine, the kind of service you don't forget. The food came out and from the very first bite, it was clear this was a place that cooks with love. The eggs, the omelet, the French toast -- everything tasted like comfort. And then there was the millionaire bacon -- perfectly caramelized with brown sugar and just a touch of chili flakes. Sweet, smoky, with a gentle heat that teased your taste buds like heaven. Absolutely unforgettable. The portions were generous in the best way, and the prices were more than fair, especially for a breakfast that leaves you full and happy. But listen... the coffee. That coffee wrapped around you like a warm blanket. And then came the meat pies -- crispy, flavorful, absolutely unforgettable. Paired with those potatoes -- golden and crisp on the outside, soft and tender on the inside -- perfectly made, just the way they should be. The owner was there today too, sitting with friends, laughing and enjoying himself, and somehow that made the place feel even more real -- like you were stepping into a slice of everyday life, not just a restaurant. If you're looking for a true southern breakfast, a place with heart, warmth, and soul -- this is it. This is where you go when you want to feel something, not just eat. We'll be back. Without a doubt. And Miss Tammy -- thank you. You made the day brighter than you know.

Ordered our food at that time. We checked in at the 40 minute mark and come to find out that our food still wasn't ready. Apparently the waiter put the order in on the wrong name - so that had to be fixed. And then when it was fixed they had a large party in front of ours that needed to be prepared first before ours. Needless to say we have now been sitting in this restaurant for over an hour with a cup of coffee and no food. If you want a quick breakfast spot, this is not the place. I would not recommend coming here with children because I cannot imagine them waiting patiently for an hour for breakfast. I have yet to receive our food even after writing this long review. But any place where you have to wait this long to get some eggs and a pancake I cannot recommend.

My chicken fried steak was good but the mashed potatoes and cornbread were the stars. I'm not a big fan of salad or green beans but they were pretty good for vegetation. My wife enjoyed her catfish basket. She prefers cornmeal on catfish over flour breading and was pleased with the crispy cornmeal and the generous portion. Now for the main event. Pie! Strawn's is known for their strawberry pie and for good reason. It was the best strawberry pie that I have ever eaten. The whipped cream topping was transcendent and paired perfectly with the strawberries. My photo does not do this pie justice.
