I scheduled my first massage at Antalee over a month ago with Jackie. I have had problems with both shoulders for 3+ years. After 5 sessions with Jackie, I have regained full range of motion and have very little to no pain. I am so grateful I found her, as I was probably headed down the path to multiple doctor's appointments, medications, and physical therapy. Her genuine care and concern for her clients is evident. This spa is an amazing find! We went for a ladies spa day and loved it. The products they use are top notch and everyone there couldn't be nicer. We all got spa packages which included lunch. I wasn't expecting much in terms of lunch but I kid you not when I say I'd go here just to have the food. Everything was organic and lovingly prepared. I'm not really sure what to make of my experience. I wanted to get my nails done and noticed on their website that they had a special for a facial, and mani/pedi. The website also stated they had Sunday hours. I called to see if they had any Sunday hours and mentioned the special. The person did not remember the special on the other line and she told me she had to call me back to let me know if they can fit me in. She called back around 10 minutes later with an appointment. When I got there, no one was there and there was a "by appointment only" sign on the door. I did not want to drag someone out due to a whim since the website said they were open. I was going to call to confirm I had the right place when my esthetician/nail tech arrived. The person who did my services was nice, but I was very nervous about cleanliness. I did not see any sterilizing equipment in the mani/pedi area. The cheap place I usually go even has them! She even admitted to having an infection in her fingernail. Ewww..... The overall results for the maini/pedi were good, but steps like the massage were skipped. The facial was probably one of the most painful I have ever had. I have not had many extractions because the estheticians at the place I usually go say my skin is in decent shape. I know I have slacked off a bit, but it's not that bad. At least use the numbing stuff! For an hour, I was told I had the worst skin and that I should come in all the time. Towels were pretty ragged as well. The final straw was when I was asked about payment mid-manicure. She said that she preferred cash or check due to the front desk not liking them playing with the credit card machine. Of course, I did not know this nor did anyone mention this making the appointment. This created a very awkward situation and 15 minutes of time wasted with my tech figuring out the machine. Will I come again? I'm not sure. But I know it won't be on a Sunday. read more

I first heard about Antalee through a friend who was raving about how amazing the massages are. My friend gets regular massages, so I figured I should give it a shot. So I stopped by the Spa and made an appointment in person, I think it was the owner, Aneta that was at the reception desk. I asked to schedule a massage appointment, we settled on a time, and then she asked me what kind of massage, so I asked her what kinds they offered. She said swedish, which is relaxing or deep tissue which is deep, mind you I am a massage therapist, I heard this and thought to myself, is this really how you describe your services to a perspective client? I said Swedish and left. The day of the scheduled massage I had to call and reschedule, we rescheduled, and then I was told that typically 24 hours is required to cancel, but they would let it go this time, I said thanks? and thought to myself, why didn't you say that when I came in to schedule the appointment? So I finally made it to my appointment and was super excited, filled out the health form, and met my massge therapist who took me to the back and showed me the massage room. The space and everything is nice... So here's where it's kinda wierd. I got undressed and on the table, and she came back in the room. I had this wierd feeling that the door wasn't closed all the way, but I wasn't sure, I was laying face down. I could hear the washing machine and dryer going very clearly. And when it was time for me to turn over, I heard the door close all the way before I did!!! WTF? The session ended very oddly. she put a hot towel over my chest, and then one around my face, and said okay you have a facial next, and I said no I don't, and then she said oh sorry woudl you like me to get you some water while you get dressed? I said yes sure, so she left me to get dressed with hot towels on my face, neck, chest, and also some wrapped around my feet!!! So I had to peel off all the wet towels before getting up. I was quite annoyed becaused I didn't get a chance to just lay down and appreciate that I had just been massaged. Overal her massage was good, with the exception of a few parts where I could feel her body touch mine when she was reaching to do longer strokes. On the intake form I had asked to pay extra attention to my scalp and lower back, and I didn't feel like extra attention was given... I wouldn't go back. read more

I have been coming here since it opened many years ago. The entire staff is very kind and loving and always goes the extra mile. I have had deep tissue massages, hot rocks, waxing and facials. The facial/massage combo is my favorite. I do get extractions which as you can guess, will feel like getting extractions. The owner's father makes lovely, highly nutritious food. He is not there all day every day so you will need to call ahead. Because everything is totally made from scratch, it will take some time. I usually call in the morning for a lunchtime pick-up. My mom and I went to Antalee's spa for the first time this weekend. What a great birthday gift! The staff was very welcoming and the spa had a peaceful aura. There was tea and chocolates available upon entering. I received an excellent deep tissue massage directly followed by a facial. Never have I seen my nose looking so clear! I WISH I CAN GIVE THIS SPA NO STARS AND DO NOT WASTE ANY MONEY HERE.. read the review carefully, I made the biggest mistake coming in here - My first experience at this spa started with a surprise gift from my friend. It was a facial along with manicure and pedicure. Let me start by saying my esthetician Bella, was very nice HOWEVER, this spa offered to do extractions. Willingly, I said yes. They did not run however LIST the side effects of extractions or if it will leave dark spots. Let me put it this way, not only did the extractions permanently leave bloody dark spots across my face but she then proceeded to put a tinted foundation (which is clearly not ideal after putting on after extracted skin). They also made rude comments on my skin and the shape it was in. She constantly kept making me more insecure on my skin texture and light hormonal acne telling me I need to come once a month for better skin and I will "have skin like the girls up front", what the actual hell is this place??????????? Second, my manicure and pedicure was a mess. Go to a real nail salon where it is sanitary and proper drying stations with actual working heat. The water used to give my pedicure was cold due to the fact the chefs cooking and using the water. The brushes were absolutely dirty and rinsed under lukewarm water, no proper sanitation. Bella also had talked about the strange idea that women cannot be independent in America and we have to rely on a partner, HAHA good joke. *Edit* After almost heading in the emergency room - it was already overpacked and understaff with a few hours wait. Luckily my dermatologist was still in her office in the same area, she herself, a woman of 20+ years experience in skin said this spa is absolutely putrid for the way they handle their sanitation along with responsibility of a client's skin needs. My friend called and demanded a refund of this experience and the manager herself ARGUED and INTERRUPTED my friend for a refund heavily! Although I got the refund back, she was a complete b****. She was going on and on about her family coming in a line of medicine, lady I don't care, I just want my money back for the crappy service. She defended her staff instead of understanding the client's needs, seriously???? I then decide, okay let me try this spa again with a different skin specialist. I booked this appointment a couple of weeks ago and get a call just today like 30 minutes ago, from the rude manager herself DENYING my service. Explaining she refuses to have me at her salon again due to negative experience. HUH? As someone who has a business/marketing strategies degree, why on earth would you degrade your business to such low quality? For god's sake they also urge you to buy their products which aren't even worth the coin. Please, I wouldn't even wish my worst enemy to go to this spa, it is awful, overpriced and excessively rude with ladies who do not know the true meaning of customer service. Maybe instead of studying dermatology, they could've taken a better lesson on how to run a business and have customer service experiences. I will be sharing this review on multiple media platforms to make sure NO ONE shall face this ""spa"" again. I would rather choose to smear pumpkin puree for .99 on my face than go here for a pumpkin enzyme bs facial. HAVE A GOOD DAY! ;) PS- look back in the older reviews, sanitation was not only an issue in my review but a previous review from... a couple of years ago. nothing has changed. Yes, I will go back again! I was excited about my facial day at the Antalee Spa as it was a day before my birthday. I had my appointment scheduled in advance, since i believe that people time should be respected! It was my second visit there and the last time I went for a many/pedi (6 month ago) it was decent. The receptionist was quite professional and experienced. She informed me about the waiting time and offered water/tea. Cosmetologist Bella offered me several treatment options to chose from. The facial was pleasant and not painful at all. Bella warn me every time before she extracted my blackheads, which she did multiple times over and over again. Through most of the facial I was relaxed and that's why I went to the spa in the first place! If you want professional result you should trust your cosmetologist!!!!! Based on that I was advised to come more often, since my skin required more than one treatment, I was given some product samples to take home and ended up buying a cleanser. I felt like she cared and had different approach, her advises were useful and made sense, I started drinking more water and using her products, my skin already looks better!! Thank you. read more

Bella is very knowledgeable about skincare and her facials are very relaxing. She uses quality products and your face feels so refreshed at the end. I don't wear much make-up, but Bella is also skilled in giving makeup advice that is tailored to your needs.
