Do not trust that these folks care about you or your needs. If it's easy for them, they can handle it. If it's something where you need them to do a little extra...forget about it. The doctor or medical staff wrote "2024" instead of "2025" on an important form. They did fix it but blamed my son for the typo - my son never touched it. Same form - doctor forgot to initial somewhere specific. Had to ask them to fix it again, which they said they would....but not until Monday morning. It is now Monday night and I have no form. Why? Their scanner is broken and can I come pick it up instead. Am I in the twilight zone? Is this 2025? They were completely unwilling to help and do the right thing to fix THEIR mistakes. I'm going to repeat some things other people have been saying. The wait times have been getting longer and longer the last few years. The last wait time once we had a room was 1hr45min. The time before that was 90min. We have another appointment today. I'm going to try to get the real waiting time out of them before I get a room. If I can't get that from them I'm leaving after 30min. And the thing is, if I leave, I'm never coming back. The other thing is that Dr. Kim Lamotte is awesome, but the wait times are unacceptable. Somebody in management has decided to overbook as standard procedure. Think about every patient that has to wait over an hour, multiplied by the number of patients they see in a day. read more

Unfortunately, after four years at this office we are going to find somewhere else to go. Two of my kids have been seen at this office since they were born. The continued lack of care, consistency, from staff and doctors is crazy. The poor communication from staff who schedule appointments and then when I come to the office being told we either don't have an appointment or it's a different date/ time. Last time I came to an appointment we waited for an hour and a half in the ROOM!!! Seems there is lots of disorganization all around. Sounding like a broken record of the previous reviews. Past two times I have come here I have had to wait 45 plus minutes. I call and make an appointment but dont get seen at the time requested. So what's the point of an appointment? Theyre very inconsiderate of peoples time. If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. This was our first visit here and everything that could go wrong, went wrong. To start with I got 3 different appointment times. When I first made the initial appointment for my 18 month old son I was told our appointment was at 9:30am. A few days before our appointment I get a confirmation text saying our appointment was at 9:55am. Obviously something wasn't right, so I call their office to confirm the correct time and they tell me it's 9:45am... huh? So which time is correct out of the 3 you gave me. Needless to say, we show up exactly at 9:30am. We fill out a booklet of paperwork and sit in the lobby until 10:00am. Finally they call my son's name. They take his weight and height then tell us to undress him down to his diaper and wait for Dr. Catherine Smitha. We're waiting, and waiting, and waiting. By this time it's 10:40am. My son is hungry, fussy, and cold as he's been sitting in nothing but a diaper for 40 minutes! Not one person from their staff came to check on us that entire time. Instead they were all too busy gossiping at their desk, but I'm sure they could hear the cries my poor son was letting out. Finally my husband opens the door and asked where the Dr is, only to be told that she'll be in when she can. Excuse me? What is the point of making an appointment. Another 15 minutes rolls by and this time I go out myself and ask where the heck is the Dr? Finally 5 minutes later she shows up. Dr Catherine Smitha enters our room and calls my son by the wrong name. When we correct her she says, "Sorry, I haven't had a chance to review his chart." You're kidding me, right? She did not know the reason why we were there at the visit. It was his 18 month check up and he needed his up to date shot. The staff asked us to email them a copy of my son's immunizations, but add that there's no reception in their office. Wouldn't you think to mention this prior to his appointment? Good Lord. I have to walk outside to send them his immunizations via email. When they finally get the email, they never came back to give my son his shot. After all that waiting and we didn't even get his shot. We went there and wasted our time for nothing. You left my child in the room for 1-1/2 hour and didn't even do your job. My poor son was so upset and inconsolable that we had to leave. Not one person apologized to us. Instead we got an attitude and nasty looks for the unprofessional, ghetto front desk receptionist. She came after us yelling in the lobby for our paperwork. The mountain of paperwork I filled out is in the room. Do your job and go fetch it instead of running after us you psycho. This place is garbage. They could care less about children. They waste your precious time, but take your money. read more

And I'm glad she did. She is the best doctor! She is very thorough & explains in details. We love the quality of care she provides for our son. We never feel rushed with her. She puts your worries & concerns at ease, especially as a mom with anxieties. Once I found out I was pregnant with our second baby, I already wanted Dr. Cañete to be our daughter's doctor. Not happy! Waited in the room an hour to see Dr. Kim Lamotte. showed up 15 min early and after 1 hour I Inquiried twice with the staff of what is taking so long didn't get an answer. We had to leave the appointment without even seeing the dr because over an hour in she never came into the room ! just a lack of respect of peoples time. I called to see what happened after we left and the manager said "Oh Dr. Lamotte she's the owner and she's very busy. She was on the phone, she had a meeting. I knocked on her door multiple times but she didn't respond" WOW!! No regard for patients time. Scheduling a meeting the same time as a patients appointment and doesn't even have the courtesy to reschedule our appointment. Would never again go to this office if this is how she runs her business! We took our kid out of school early and left work early to be there yet she couldn't be bothered to actually show up. It was our first time at Anthem Hills after our old clinic not accepting our insurance and right off the bat, it was delightful! Office Experience - Their office is quite small but acceptable since it is located in a suite. The ladies at the front desk were extremely nice and pay full attention to you. Then, they give us a quick questionnaire about anxiety and depression. The medical assistants will go over the sheet with you just to make sure. Dr. Smitha is amazing and quick with the statistics of our health. She is very straightforward and is careful with everything. Love her! Type of Care - The medical assistant (totally forgot her name; red scrubs and shoes) are extremely easy to bond with! She is hilarious as well! Quick simple procedure of getting the height, weight, and blood pressure. I love how they run tests about the height and weight as they tell you if we are underweight or not. Only downfalls are the wait times and the office staff are very pushy and try to make you sign forms you don't need to sign. Be assertive with them and it will be fine. Every time I come here there is an extreme wait of 2-3 hours!!!! What a previous review mentioned was my same experience- I waited in a room for HOURS while hearing the staff gossip and Dr on a personal call while we waited!!!!! When I inquired to speak to the owner I was told SHE was the owner!!! I know because I went up the bathroom and heard her talking about a vacation while we were left waiting!!!! I used to see Dr Barlow, Dr Chamanara and Dr Quach at the Henderson lovation but now they are all gone!!!!! I then asked to see Chelsey and Princess I've seen and also gone!! We love Dr Okafor but it is very hard to get an appointment with her. We also love Hannah but she's been out for over a year! Multiple doctors we saw for years are no longer here. We left the Henderson office to give this location a try and the experience was worse. Unprofessional staff and uncaring about your time. This place is no longer what it once was and now it's time to find a new Dr. long wait times, rude staff, gossiping staff and them they rush the appointment. We are very pleased with this little office. Our pediatrician is Dr. Barlow who we adore. He answers our questions, calms our concerns and has a good sense of humor. But any time Dr. Barlow hasn't been available the backup pediatricians have been incredible. We've also been seen by Dr. Lamotte and Dr. Okafor who are amazing and one of the nurse practitioners (her name is slipping my mind sorry)! The front desk staff are always kind and on top of things. We've never had to wait too long to be seen for our scheduled wellness visits and they are very good about getting in same day sick appointments. It may not have all the bells and whistles of other pediatric offices but the staff are dedicated, hard working, professional, kind and are highly educated. What more could you want? read more

Dr. Okafor is the most amazing pediatrician I've ever been to (been to many others due to moving and older children). She listens to what you are saying and takes the time to explain things. She doesn't rush you out of the office (she WANTS to know how things are going with the little one). Has an extremely calm demeanor that makes my daughter feel comfortable. Extremely knowledgeable! Treats you like a person and not a number! Will never see any other pediatrician as long as she is around! So glad we lucked out and found her! Today I'm pretty much done with this office after almost 10 years.... I've had nothing but issues. I have 4 kids that have come through this practice. 2 babies born with these doctors as their hospital attending doctors. They have been misdiagnosed, I've been ignored, we've been rushed out of the office at appts, left in the waiting room for hours, and passed off multiple times. It's not the front office staff. All the girls in the front and the nurses have been fantastic and that's why I've stayed. It's the DOCTORS and PAs!! I spent HUNDREDS on special foods after my child was diagnosed with food allergies. It took 8 months to get a referral to an allergy specialist just to have him laugh at the inability of my child's doctor to recognize what a real allergy is. This is a pediatric office!!! Get it together!!! This week I have 2 children under 3 years old who have a horrible cough that I took to the office on Wednesday (before it got really bad) to see a PA who acted like I had no idea what I was talking about. I'm a Respiratory Therapist!!! Have been for nearly 20 years!!! My children now are bursting blood vessels in their eyes and vomiting from coughing so hard and have gotten so bad that I have to take them to urgent care cause I can't get anyone to call me back from the office even though I was told to call if things got worse. I left 3 messages for ANYONE. We aren't a needy family. We only show up about 2-3 times a year. But if I can't get help from these horrible providers when I actually need it then what's the point of having a damn doctor???? And this isn't all.... I just don't have enough time to go over it all. If this reaches Dr Lamotte Malone, please call me cause you should know what's going on in your practice before all the good parents that pay their bills disappear and go somewhere else. I'm not just some bitching parent, I'm a medical professional myself. If I'm complaining it's because the situation is unacceptable. I am not impressed with The nurse practitioner W. Smith. She was not very helpful for one of the reasons for our visit. I was told that they will give authorization for the prescription next time if they see my daughter for her diaper rash. Unfortunately desitin, aquaphor and other products doesn't work on her. So we saw today Dr. Smith but she doesn't want to give us refills not unless there's an active diaper rash! Hello???? Why do you want us to bring my baby back again and be out with covid for you to check her diaper rash? My daughter was prescribed before for a medicine that works for her and we just need a refill! Clearly your office has a serious disconnect! One person tells us you guys need to see my daughter so we can get refill and Dr Smith is not giving us that refill!!!!! Unbelievable! Foe the most part I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to get an urgent care appointment the same day. The front desk was super knowledgeable and helpful even though I had 1000 questions. They were super patient and made me feel welcomed. The place is clean and staff is friendly. The only reason I gave it a 4 was that I had to wait at least 45 mins for the doctor, maybe more. And no one came in and communicated anything to me. I hope it was just a bad day, but I will update my review next time. I have another appointment in 2 weeks, and we will see how that goes. read more

I been coming here for 2 years, they're pretty busy and like any medical office sometimes there is a wait and sometimes it's quick, but I understand. I really like Dr. shoo hes my preferred dr, I've seen other doctors at anthem hills pediatrics they're all nice. The only thing they can maybe fix is the 7:30 appointment call center , sometimes they don't open that line until 7:45-7:50, but that's no big deal. I like this place for my son read more
