I had been bringing my son to Tendercare Pediatrics since he was born in 2021. Most of the times I'd go alone, and the doctor/nurses would corner me into making decisions I wasn't ready for--tests, procedures, and vaccines. I often felt like I had no choice. The tone wasn't collaborative; it was compliance-driven. At our most recent wellness check, my husband went instead. The doctor barely examined our son before declaring him healthy and immediately pivoted to vaccines. When my husband expressed our concerns about administering 4 shots in one day and declined the shots, they brought out the infamous "rejection letter of vaccines." He asked to take it home to review. The doctor refused and said he needed to sign it now. When he asked, "Or what? You'll keep me here?" the doctor stormed out--without a word to our 4-year-old or to him. What made the experience even more disheartening was a comment the doctor made about "people who believe everything they see or read on the internet." It felt like a direct jab at parents who try to educate themselves, seek second opinions, or trust other medical professionals. It was dismissive and condescending--as if doing your own research makes you ignorant or irresponsible. Yes, this doctor has 20 years of experience. But experience alone doesn't equal integrity. Many doctors now admit they never truly researched vaccine ingredients or long-term effects. Some feel deceived by the system they trusted--and guilty for administering shots to newborns without full understanding. That's why vaccine protocols are now under investigation, and why the government is reevaluating certain practices. Parents deserve space to ask questions, not be shamed for it. A few days after the visit, we received a letter stating that Tendercare would no longer see our children, effective October 30th. They say the doctor-patient relationship must be built on "mutual trust." But in our experience, that trust only flows one way. If you question or hesitate, you're met with pressure--not partnership. I often left appointments feeling anxious, unsure, and dismissed. And now, we've been dismissed entirely. If you want to feel heard, respected, and supported in your parenting choices, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. This place would be a wonderful place if they respected your parenting choices and helped you go through the path you have chosen in the best possible way for your children. I do NOT recommend this Dr they are not genuine , kind or caring at all ! I chose this Dr in 2022 for my daughter and it started off good till every apt the dr would forget things mid apt , call me and my bf different names , would constantly have to repeat my concerns , soon my concerns were finally listened to and my daughter got her diagnosis NOT THRU THEM! I soon had another baby to bring to them & becoming a mom of 2 had me busy and I was dealing with a little postpartum I started getting my appointments mixed up I remember one day I showed up the day before my actual apt day had my days mixed up ubered both my kids and myself there and they refused to see me , a kind caring doctor would see that the mom was mixed up had baby blues and would fit her in the schedule , my kids got older and my daughter autism got worse it was hard to leave the house she doesn't do well in public and the dr KICKED us out instead of providing help or seeing if we were ok . Motherhood is hard I thought some of the ppl there would understand and treat their patients like family but I was wrong . Now that my daughter is older for her services she needs help with she needs a referral from her original Dr but they REFUSE to help me since I've been " kicked" out they didn't even have a the decency to call me instead they sent a letter smh ... I really wish it was someone I could talk to because this isn't right ! Now I can't get my daughter the help she needs due to a selfish corporate company . all they care about is money , when I first had my son it took a few days for his insurance to kick in and they refused to see him and he was jaundice i literally had to borrow a family members credit card in to put on file for him to be seen smh ... read more

this was a good facility until some bumps into the road . one day i had an appointment and was fresh postpartum i brought my baby on the day before the actual appointment getting mixed up and they wouldn't squeeze me in on top of the fact i ubered here . the situation brings me here today is i was 9 minutes late to my appointment and then had to sit in the office for an additional 10 mins after i checked in & the lady refused to see my baby due to that . i am very upset and dissatisfied with this office i will no longer be coming here . ive come here for two years with my other child but now see this was never the right fit . i wish there was management or someone higher up i could complain too . my baby is 6 months okd gad a cough that needed to be seen and issues with his formula i was going to update the doctor about but i guess i came to the wrong place read more

I would not take your child to this practice. Office manager cares more about money than children and their health. If your child sees another doctor, this office will refuse to see you. Legitimately. They also will not let you take your child in for immunizations without full checkups. As a mother who is spacing out the shots, while still keeping course with the necessary vaccinations, I find this unacceptable. It must be a money making grab. Do you and your child favor and go to another doctor. I've taken my child to a different pediatrician and I've been able to do walkins for immunizations without checkups with no issue. I can't imagine why this medical practice thinks that they're above that. When I asked for an explanation from the office manager, I was curtly told just to go to the health district if I wanted immunizations without full costly checkups. read more

I've only had the best experiences here with Dr. Kiepert. She is such a wonderful doctor who really knows her stuff and she takes a lot of time to listen to my concerns for my 3 kids. I highly recommend her and all the ladies at Tendercare. They're super gentle and they do a great job at calming the kids and then getting the scary parts done quickly and efficiently. I've never had much of a wait here, but the few times that I had any noticeable wait time was during the busy times like winter when there are just a ton of sick kids. It's totally understandable to me bc I want Dr. Kiepert to spend enough time checking on my little ones when they're not feeling well also. As far as the office goes, I've always found it to be super clean and very pleasant. The waiting room has plenty of comfortable chairs and there is a little table for the kids and a book shelf with lots of books. I've never really had time to read the books since I get called into the exam rooms usually before I can finish filling out any of the paperwork for the appointment. The exam rooms are also immaculately clean. There are nice pictures of ocean creatures on the walls with vibrant colors. I often find myself staring at the pictures while waiting and also teaching the little ones colors and animals while I wait. I highly recommend Tendercare Pediatrics to any parent looking for an excellent and caring pediatrician. read more

This place is 100% the worst in communication. They nurses never return your call, after leaving your number for the nurse or doctor to call you because when you are visiting they never are near to talk to.. they just say the doc is in building and will be by, but he/she never comes. When you call the next day to check up on your family in the hospital you will get hung up on, disconnected and told "I'm busy with other patients, I'll call you back." This place is great. Lots of Pro's & only 1 Con. For starters; -They accept aall insurance & if you don't have insurance they will create an affordable plan, that'll allow you to make monthly payments til it's paid off -If your child is sick they will be you right away or that day. My 3 month old had breathing problems and they saw her right away. Within 30 minutes. -The staff is very friendly, especially the nurses. They remember the children and treat them gently. They talk to them, give stickers and ask how the kids are. -The doctors will answer any and all questions. Even if your apt takes an hour and a half they will do anything to make sure you are comfortable and your child is well taken care of. -This doctors office is clean and organized -They have a television that keeps children and parents entertained. - They always have a nurse on duty at night and during the day to answer any questions you may have. So thats very convenient if its 3am and your little girl has a fever. -Dealing with insurances can be a hassle & they re very patient and will call the insurance's for you to handle situations or problems. CON; -The waiting can be horrid. Once we waited for an hour and a half. I believe that waits are so bad because the doctors spend so much time with your child. Which is good but inconvenient if you have plans or have another apt that day somewhere else. So be prepared to wait or be there overall over 2 hours or so. ** My daughters doctor is Dr. Sarah Oliver ** she is so friendly, caring and nice. I love her. I made an appointment for my daughter to see Dr. Kiepert, I called back one week before the appointment, and they moved her to another Dr. Without letting me know about it. I had to re schedule the date and time. When I came in the office and announced my appointment, the front office worker was on the telephone, and kept trying to talk to me and the person on the phone at the same time. Not the first time I have had issues with front office staff being rude. I also had to keep asking Dr. Kiefert a lot of health questions, as she tends to not say much, if you don't prompt her. Took my baby here 3 times, I do have to say they are FAST which is something rare when it comes to doctor visits. They give you some free samples of formula, baby moisturizer and soap. Im going to be fair with the Dr and practitioner, both ladies are really nice, front desk could be nicer, and nurses assistant are really nice as well,i will not complain of them treating my son wrong, they were really nice, my biggest complaint is of how irresponsible and how unprofessional dr can be,hard to get an appointment with her, hardly ever around,so you get to see practicing, even you're pretty clear about who you want your baby to be seen. I have had NP Cheryl for my kids for about 5 years now. I followed her from another practice. They are extremely friendly and my kids are given the best care. NP Cheryl has the best interests of her patients. The follow ups are done within a few days after the sick visit (if needed,) and my appointments never run late. I have been taking my kids here for 14 years and I absolutely love it! Dr. Kiepert is one of the sweetest, most thorough, and caring doctors you will ever meet. I owe my youngest daughters life to her! She was only 17 days old and wasn't eating. I called Tendercare first thing in the morning and they had me bring her right in. The front office staff took us straight to the back and called an ambulance after examining her. Within 10 minutes of arriving at the ER she went into cardiac arrest. If they hadn't seen her so quickly, if Dr. Kiepert wouldn't have made that life saving call, my now 10 year old daughter might not be here with us! All these years later, they are still consistently wonderful! My 7 week old son is sick and we called this morning and got him an appointment same day. We barely sat down before they called us to the back. I tend to be a frantic mother at times, and the nurses and doctors are always a phone call away to answer any questions or concerns promptly. They also have an 24 hour answering service to help with any midnight worries that may arise. The waiting time is always short if not non existent. We also really love Cheryl! She always makes the kiddos smile! As I said, I have been bringing my 4 kids here their whole lives (ages 14, 12, 10, and 7 weeks). I have never ONCE had a problem with this office, its doctors, nurses, or front office staff. I feel the bad reviews are completely biased and not substantiated in reality. To hear that Dr. Kiepert is unfriendly or judgmental in anyway is just 100% wrong. I trust my kids lives with these doctors and have recommended them all these years to friends and family. Still do! Been coming here for the last 5 years & this place is always clean, everyone at the front desk are always welcoming & helpful. Now there isn't a lot of things for kids, except some books & a t.v that hardly plays kids movies or anything but adds, but still my preferred choice to take my daughter. The waiting times can be long when inside the rooms but both doctors are great. One is more mellow, very sweet & goes through a lot of options, the other has a great personality, is funny & gets right to the point. My daughter can get antsy & nervous but she always feels at ease here. We will continue to come here for many more years. read more

I have been taking my son here since he was a year old and he is now 3. All of the doctors are very nice but it is very difficult to schedule an appointment with the same doctor, so I normally go for whoever is available. They are all equally nice. So I had my sons appointment for yesterday which they cancelled on me for no reason- obviously the doctor wanted an extra day off! They rescheduled me for today, after sitting around 30 minutes after my appointment they tell me they don't know when the doctor will be in AND there is no other doctor working today!! She suggested we come back and check in a couple of hours... Hmm does this mean I can charge them $25 because the doctor was late? Like they normally do if any patients are late! As I am asking the receptionist how long or when she will be there- the receptionist is telling me she has no answers and does not know when she will be in the building. Why are they even open today! Get some more doctors or actually show up for work! Seems like these doctors need to grow up. read more

Tendercare Pediatrics - 12 mos, always happy in this room - Pediatricians Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

I have been bringing my son to this office since he was born. Today I called to se wig they could get my son in because he's been running a fever. She asked how long it would take to get there I said 15 minutes. It was almost 8:40 am and she says we have a 8:45 can you make that? I said I won't be there at 8:45 but I'll get there as soon as I can she said no problem. I show up at 8:55 I give them my new insurance and pay my co pay. They proceeded to ask me which insurance I wanted to use. I told the lady the one I gave you today. She said can you call your insurance to see which one you should use so you don't end up getting the entire bill. Okay fine whatever I'll go ahead and do that. So the Nurse/assistant comes in and asks what's going on my 5 year old tells her he's got a sore throat and he's been running a fever. She does a swab of his throat then Dr. K comes in and checks his ears and throat says that they are red asks a few questions about my son then is in her way. Another nurse comes in to do a digital ear test to confirm he has a ear infection then 1 more comes in after that with a flu swab that has to be shoved up both sides of my kids nose (I was not told or asked about these tests before they were performed on my child) then one of the nurses comes back in and says he doesn't have the flu and the Dr has sent a prescription for his ear infection. (None of this was gone over with me by the Dr.) so I then ask the nurse what pharmacy because we have moved across town. She tells me I tell her I need to change it that one is over 30 minutes from where we live now. She says the front desk will handle it. So I tell the front desk they say that she has already sent it to the old pharmacy they will leave the dr a note to change it to the new place and they will give me a call. So I take my time getting home I stop st the pharmacy (probably 30 minutes later) and they have not received a thing. I call and they say the dr has been busy with other pts she will get to it soon. So we go home wait till noon I try to call no answer. Okay maybe they are on lunch.. I try to call at 1.. still no answer. I try to call again at 2... nothing. It is now 5pm and I have tried calling multiple times not only to ask about the medicine my child is supposed to be taking but also to let her know to bill the insurance I gave her today. At one point when I was trying to call someone was just picking up and hanging up on me and then I started getting a busy tone saying that I had he wrong number... I have now driven over 30 minutes to the other pharmacy and back to get his meds because it's been 8 hours since he's been seen and they have not sent the script to the correct place!!!!!!! I will have to say that this pediatrics is not my cup of tea. I have two daughters 1 and 3. Each time I have an appt with the doctor they somehow tend to always call me to tell me the doctor will not be in and if we can reschedule or I can come see the nurse practitioner. This has happened a total of six times. Then there was one day I had an appt and called a few hrs prior to my appt bc of an emergency(husband had appendix removed) I got charged 25 dollars for not canceling 24hrs in advance! Doctor never remembers my kids and their emergency after hours call center is terrible! I wait forever for someone to pick but then takes over two hrs to get a call back. Never do I get a call from the doctor herself I get an on call nurse but even after the doctor would not follow up with my child the next day!? Only reason I give this pl three stars are bc the nurses are very nice and place is clean. But if want your child to see a doctor not a nurse partitioner this is not the pl for you. read more

I would honestly not recommend this place at all to any one they are very unprofessional in every way especially their staff I remember on March 5th being on the phone with 1 of the staff for like 30-45 minutes getting all information needed in order to take my child there for the first time she never once mentioned that if I was to do a no show or anything was to come up there would be a cancellation fee so it just happens that I had a family emergency where I completely forgot about the appointment I called back to reschedule and the lady would not rescheduled me unless I pay 25 dollars I didn't have a problem paying the 25 dollars since it is for my daughter's health but the fact that the lady never mentioned any no show fee or last minute cancellation fee made me very disappointed I talk to the manager Evan and she also was not very helpful and in a way did not want me to reschedule she kept telling me that she would not see my child in her clinic unless we pay the 25 dollars which to me again was not fair because it was never mentioned to me; then she also said we dont give you that information unless you come in for your first appointment ....really .....made no since.....not to mention I pretty much shopped for a pediatric office for month's since I was new to the state and then I finnally schedule with them and was 30 mins away from my home but I was willing to do the travel since I heard they were not great but good....wow still cant belive it .....I also work in medical clinic and the way she went about was not okay.....I know for a fact I tell my patients no matter if the patient is new or a old pantient I always tell patients about our No show/ Last min Cancellation fee .........
