This place is incredible. Everything is made fresh, and we learned their catering business is so popular because they can make just about anything! The staff is incredibly kind & make you feel very welcomed, and you can tell everyone is passionate about what they offer. They even asked how we wanted our pizza cooked--which I've never been asked before--and it was the beginning of an impeccable dining experience. This is now my children's favorite pizza ever. We were also encouraged to try the meatballs, and we're so glad we did because they were absolutely perfect. Even though the kids were completely full, they couldn't resist picking at the coffee cake on the drive home and loved every bite. We also brought home some freshly baked bread and cookies that we can't wait to dig into. Needless to say, we'll be back. Anthony Francos offers a good variety of pizza slices. I chose the chicken and broccoli slice and it was very thick with a good size. The cost for specialty slices is $4.50, which is pretty comparable with other places in the area. The slice was very greasy and I got it to go. I appreciate the bag and plate but no napkin? The dining room is a good size area with plenty of tables if you want to stop in even with a group the size of 6 to 8 people. If I was in the area, I would likely stop by again. read more

Always looking to find new pizzerias, I stopped in at Anthony Franco's in Roxbury tonight. The place is in a small strip mall in which it looks like the surrounding stores have all gone out of business. Plenty of parking at least. I really wanted to get a couple of plain slices since it was my first time here, but they had none out made ready to serve. I chose a slice with fresh tomato, mozzarella, and basil. It may not have been my first choice, but it was fine. Crust was very good. Very friendly service and a good place to stop if you're looking for a slice. read more

Anthony Francos is good during the week but we Ordered food for the holiday, which was terrible. Got an antipasto half tray which was total soggy from the peppers they put on top had to throw half of it out because you couldn't eat the lettuce. This is kind of a crazy review, first off great food , pizza is great , grandma pie is killer ! OK, this is where it gets a little crazy, the last three times I ordered the chicken Parm. They forgot the mozzarella. I called tonight to get the chicken Parm, which I totally love and once again there was a few shavings on there I don't know why they can't get chicken parm right ? That's what parm means , cheese, my wife got a potato pepper and an egg sandwich I asked for the roll to be toasted and butter, guess what it wasn't toasted and it wasn't butter, the person that answered the phone was a little bit on the rude side and in a rush, I know the business could get crazy at times, however if you're going to take an order, make sure you take the order correctly. The food here is ALWAYS good; however, my delivery tonight was a mess. The delivery person commented, "oops, it's a little messy"... when he pulled the food out of the bag, Ya think! The bag was wet with sauce. The sauce dripped on the ground and was all over. While the food was good, sauce was all over and the containers were crushed and none of the tops were on securely. i have been a loyal customer for 3 years , ordering weekly. But after last week never again. I ordered 2 slices with onion, what i got was the worst pizza i ever had in my life. the crust was burnt, the cheese in the middle was not melted, the onions , looked like a pile of sautéed was thrown on top. it had an odd ozone small. i took one bite and hate to spit it out. it had to go into the trash becasue the smell made me sick. read more

Only minor problems were that some pepperoni got onto the plain side and the dough was a bit chewy. Overall the price was fair and it was prepared on time.
