After multiple visits to this establishment, as well as it's sibling location in Wayne, I'm indeed pleased to proffer 5 stars. The atmosphere is contemporary but diverse in everything from its music choice to the decor. Framed photos of movie stars from the golden age of the 40's and 50's, mingled with sports figures and jerseys. The overall theme seems to be, something for everyone. The service is brisk, with well trained and courteous servers. There is a sense of activity and purpose. Orders are called out from the semi-open kitchen area, reminding you that this place is, after all, about food. The food is exceptional. Easily the best pizza in the area, and notable for its charred crust. The traditional pies are offered with a fine diversity of toppings. My favorite is the "hot fingerling pepper," which is quite hot indeed. I'm still unsure of the variety of pepper. It is certainly a step above jalapeño in heat. But, while I believe the flavor and heat are consistent with Serrano chiles, these are far larger and longer than any Serrano I've known. It remains a mystery. (A mystery even my server could not dispel.) A full bar is offered, with a generous selection of beers by the bottle and on tap, together with a comely offering of wines. My most recent visit happened to be half price draft day. Begin with a crisp, family style salad and $3 for a Loose Cannon IPA served in a tall pilsner glass. Then add pizza with a wondrously charred crust and a fine set of toppings. Combine with cheerful service and a reasonable price, and you have my favorite casual dining experience in the area. read more

I had the traditional pie and their wings. The pizza tastes great. Flavorful, perfect crunch to the crust, etc. It's what a great pizza should taste like. The wings come without "sauce" but instead with onions and a huge piece of flatbread(?). The wings were extremely salty. That piece of bread was also salty. To the point where I felt like I was chewing on morsels of salt. I'm glad I tried it though. Things to look out for: A small pie and small order of wings was $24. Some parts of the pizza and wings might not be edible because it's burnt, literally black. Service was excellent. read more

Very disappointing take out experience. Pizza was burned to a crisp. We have ordered here before so I am not talking about the coal fired effect. We ordered the arugula pizza and the crust had no tomato or visible cheese and was so crisp and hard you couldn't even bite into it. The pepperoni was slightly better but also so crisp it was difficult to eat. I do not recommend for take out. Waste of $. read more

Anthony's COAL Fired Pizza is the tops. I emphasize the COAL for good reason. I discovered Anthony's in Wilmington DE, and now visit this location almost weekly. I love the thin, dangerously-close-to-burnt crust. Tons of flavor. Pepperoni is my standard. Super tasty with a little zing. Their sauce is different than a "standard" pizza joint's. If you like tomatoes, you'll love their sauce. Love a pepperoni pie with a Peroni (Italian for Budweiser. [not really]). Great staff. Fast and friendly. Cool atmosphere. Lots of TVs. read more

5 Stars for the best pizza around. Their motto is "Well Done". It borders on burnt. I have only had the sausage so far and it is outstanding both times. It's crisp, but not too thin. We ate in and the leftovers heated up just as well as the first time around.We tried the Meatballs as an appetizer. The two were served in a puddle of sauce, with a dollop of ricotta, Not bad, my companion liked them, just not for me. Service is fair. The pizza comes out real fast even if they are crowded. So as much as I hate to say it, a chain restaurant serves my favorite pizza. read more

I have never felt so discriminated in my life!!! I visited this place with my family on labor day and we were treated like no better than a dog. It was not that even busy at that time. Everyone was greeted nicely and friendly and seated as soon as entered but we waited at least 10 minutes to be seated and another 10 minutes to call over a waitress to get our orders. But we were told to wait again with an attitude. But people who got there after us got seated and greeted got their orders right away. So then I finally called over a waitress AGAIN but AGAIN with the same nasty attitude, we were told that they were TOO busy. At the end, no one came over to take our order so we just left very hungry and disappointed and discriminated. read more

Best wings I've ever had...baked in the coal ovens and simply seasoned...no sauce as these are not buffalo wings. The pizza is top-notch. The sauce has a nice texture to it and is not over-cooked. I recommend the arugula pizza. read more

I love this place. Since it has opened, I have probably been there at least 7-8 times, this past weekend however, the service was a little lacking. It was later on a Sunday afternoon-not quite lunch, but not quite dinner time either. The wait staff outside seemed bored, uninterested and they were not busy on the patio where we were seated. My waitress didn't bring my drink until after my pizza arrived, and we had already had our salad. I was a bit disappointed this visit in the service. However, we will be back because the pizza is cooked perfectly- a little well done is just how I like it! The salad is fantastic, the drink selection is varied. First impression was that the place could use a good cleaning. When the tables are sticky, it's not good. The waitress was excellent and the food was very good, we split a salad and had a plane coal fire pizza. Might go back if we are in the area again but would enjoy better if the cleanup there act a little. read more

Amazing dinner! We had the roasted cauliflower pizza and wings. The pizza was very good and perfectly cooked. Just the right amount of seasoning and spice. Our server was wonderful and the hostess even picked up our umbrella we forgot and brought it to us at the door. read more

I want to preface this review by saying that I contacted ACFP and was contacted by the Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager about this issue. She was very nice and understanding and has also sent me a gift card to go back and make sure I don't have the same experience again. We visited ACFP in Exton for dinner about a month ago. We were blatantly discriminated against by a young, white male server. We told him that one of us is vegan and one of us is vegetarian. When we ordered a pizza with eggplant 1/2 with cheese and 1/2 without cheese, he did not tell us that the eggplant is breaded with an egg wash and that any pizza with eggplant is considered a "skinny pizza" and hence does not have cheese on it anyways. Before the pizza, we had ordered their salad without egg so even if he did not know what vegan is, he should have known to tell us that the eggplant has egg. We did not get plates and silverware until we asked, we did not get asked if we want a change of plates between appetizer and pizza and he barely asked us if there was anything else we needed. Meanwhile, the tables of white families around us were being wined and dined by him. Lastly, he was not wearing a mask but rather a bandana which is not an enclosed face covering. This place has a mainly white staff with only two Latinx folks and one black person on the staff. When diversity does not exist, inclusion is not possible. I hope that in the future this location hires a more diverse staff and works towards making all guests feel welcome and appreciated. read more

First time visit. We were give a complementary meatball and chicken wing with some onion. Meatball was flavorful as was the chicken wing with onion, perhaps a bit of salt would have improved them. My wife had chicken wings and I had a Philly cheese steak pizza. Both were good solid meals. We had water as opposed to a glass of wine. Their prices for wine are rather high (10.00 per glass). Their happy hour wine cost drops the price to approximate the areas regular going rate of 7.00. The areas going rate for happy hour is approximately 5.00. Though a solid meal the price to value is a bit high. We may go back sometime, but are not in any hurry to do so. read more

Recently had lunch and ordered a personal pizza and a beverage. The pizza was terribly underwhelming. The crust was a thicker that I am used to and it was either overcooked or they make them with hard dry crust. Since the crust makes the pizza it was hard to notice if the sauce and cheese was even tasty. There are a few local pizzeria's that make a much better pie. read more

I was VERY disappointed in our meal. Don't think I will ever return. Told our food would be ready at 6:11. After calling twice to see when it would be done was told sorry our kit ch en is backed up. Had to wait 35 minutes before it was done. Once we got home(5 minutes) it was all stone cold and the pizza was as hard as a rock in some places. Our first visit to Anthony's was great. Food was excellent. They did mess up our pizza toppings, but comped our pizza and brought out the correct one within ten minutes of us speaking up. Service was excellent. Parents, be aware there is no separate kids menu. As long as they can eat/will eat pizza or another regular menu item though, you'll be fine. They did offer a lunch size pizza for my two boys to share and that was not on the dinner menu, so much appreciated suggestion from the waitress. read more

We walk in, she has water, menus and basically knows our order (yet gives us an opportunity to switch it up if needed). In a shopping strip. Easy access. Family friendly. Excellent (round and thin) pizza. Service (at the bar) was fine and friendly as were some other patrons who were there. There is a nice little bar with (sometimes) Yuengling lite among draft selections when we were there. Not sure if always have it...but other beer (several crafty brands on tab and in bottle) including basic ol' Pottsville Lager is good too. The restaurant has plenty of sit down space with booths. Other food items we tried ... primarily appetizers... were good too. Some interesting old coal town pictures displayed on the walls. We always like to stop here on way to basketball playoffs at the classic old Pottsville arena. Recommended in the area. read more

We always enjoy the food. We always love getting wings and pizza . The meatballs are delicious . We had an issue a couple weeks ago where they forgot to give us our salad for a take out order. I called and they delivered the salad and gave us a card for complimentary food for the mistake . I brought the card in and ordered more than what the card was good for and they comped our entire order. The manager there really stepped up and took care of us . She did a great job. My first experience here was awful! Everyone in the area swares this is the best pizza. Ours was burnt and didnt impress me at all! The biggest turn off the young waitress that seemed annoyed we were there! She offered us a small side salad and those were her words with our pizza which my sister and i agreed to. Wasnt until we got the bill that the " small side salad" was $10 what a rip off and a dishonest way to trick a customer! When i questioned her she said we only have one size salad in the menu if you looked! Dont falsely advertise things to up a bill!
