My pizza was put in the oven when I was there bc I heard the baker saying he was putting my pizza in. When I opened the box the pizza seemed mishandled. I opted for 1/2 mikes hot honey and 1/2 white. Flavors were good on each side. Not sure what was going on with the cheese sliding off each bite. The oven roasted hot honey wings seemed underdone. This was my second visit to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. I first went to one in Mahwah New Jersey. The layout of the space was similar but very cozy. The service was equally fantastic especially for Christmas Eve. We ordered the garlic knots, split order of wings-dry rub and garlic and a cheese pizza. We started with a Caesar salad that was perfect. I asked them not to drown it with dressing and they obliged. The salad was a large and had huge helpings for three of us. My son and nephew had strawberry lemonade and I had a Bellini. It was a great dinner with wonderful service and a great atmosphere. To start we ordered a larga cobb salad which it's great to share among 4-5 people; however, I'll recommend to get the dressing on the side since they use a lot of dressing in a salad order. Absolutely delicious. We stopped by during a rainy evening since we had a gift card and we didn't feel like cooking and we're so happy we chose to stop by! We ordered two pizzas for a party of 5 and we almost finished them both. The pizzas are thin and the crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce was delicious, they had the perfect amount of cheese and the ingredients tasted fresh and complimented everything perfectly. We would have liked a little more pepperoni on our pizza since it was lacking some but other than that everything was great. Very racist establishment! It took me ten minutes to be seated, then another thirty minutes to be served while two tables full of white patrons were immediately seated, given menus and drinks. The white servers were avoiding eye contact with me for as long as possible. When I spoke to the general manager, my concerns were dismissed. When I arrived, it took my waitress (Gabriela) over 20 minutes to bring my table our drinks. She wasn't very friendly and took forever to refill drinks or simple things we asked of her. I've never sat here and ate it's always been delivery or to go. Pizza's are almost always perfect. This time I had my dog in the car with me so decided to do curb side. I clicked that I was there. 5 minutes later I received a call saying it would be right out. Another 10min it's still nothing. I decided to go inside. Sadly, I went to the Anthony's Coal Fired location in North Miami Beach today. Sat at the bar for 20 minutes while four employees stood near the pizza oven looking at me. I asked one of them if they are open today since there was a group of people also waiting to place an order at a table and he said yes. After 20 minutes I got up and left. I guess nobody's working. I will have to try the Doral location later this week. They usually have better service there. I really don't know how places like this stay in business. read more

October 3rd Thursday night. Where do I start... me and my girlfriend walked in the restaurant around 8 o'clock into an almost empty restaurant with EXACTLY 3 tables in the entire restaurant, we sat in the corner at the sharing table on the side of the bar, where the short cut blonde hair bartender CLEARLY noticed us sit down at, and there was a gentleman serving the only 3 tables in the restaurant which clearly all have been served and tended to already. Soon as we walked in I told my girlfriend I was going to the bathroom to wash my hands and when I came back she said NO ONE came over which I thought was strange, then my girlfriend decides to go wash her hands in the restroom and by the time she comes back no one even acknowledged us as customers being there for over 20 mins already, mean while the bartender clearly saw us walk in and sat down literally staring at us while having full conversations at the bar laughing on going in and out of the bar where she could have also came to our table but clearly she did not want to and avoided us, at this point my girlfriend is livid and angry because of the lack of service and clearly being ignored and I myself was at the point where I said they are being racist towards us because a white family walks in almost 20 mins later after we've been there almost 30 mins being ignored and the server quickly acknowledges them and literally ran to their table with menus and plates while we sat there in shock and disgust, to be dealing with this type of racial profiling I hate to say but yes, the only person in that restaurant that came to our table was the only black chef in there, he came from the kitchen where he was cooking with his apron on and brought us menus, but at that point we where over it and disgusted, we explained to him exactly what happnend and how we were ignored and profiled, and we just wanted to leave, he apologized and we told him it's not his fault that things like this still exists but thank you for coming from the kitchen to the other entire side of the restaurant to ask us if we wanted water and menus. I could tell he knew we weren't happy, but I told him it's not his fault because clearly they have some racists people working in there that doesn't take notice to black people, all the way up to the time we decided to leave NOT ONE PERSON from the floor bothered to look our way or ask us any questions, DISGUSTED. The Buffalo wings are awesome. Not too saucy but still pack a lot of flavor. Good char. Got a large cheese pizza cuz they were on special for just $10 on Wednesdays. Plus a cheese pizza is the best way to judge a pizza place's quality. The sauce and the cheese are great but it was the char on the crust that made it extra special. We always come to this place. It used to be very good but the last two times we ate here, it didn't go well for us. The last time they gave us another table's bill and it was a problem to cancel the transaction with my card and they didn't refund me until 4 days later. Today we ordered food and saw that there was a new pizza on the menu "Burrata", anyone who recognizes that pizza knows it has a lot burrata chese . Well, they put that cheese in such small pieces that they looked like white dots on the pizza. We told the waitress and she didn't care, but what really bothered me is that we ordered a cheese pizza for the child and he only ate one piece, and we asked for the pizza to go and the waitress packed it as if it were dog food, all the pieces on top of each other. And even though I complained, she didn't care. Today is one of those times when I feel insulted and robbed by the behavior of this waitress, who has been working there for quite some time because she is always there when we go. Don't waste your time at this place, now we understand why they have fewer customers every day. THIS PLACE HAS BECOME BAD FOR EATING. Just ordered from this Anthony's via Uber. We purchased a salad and it had three different bugs on the lettuce. Absolutely disgusting. They were still alive. Here's a photo but we also took a video of one that lifted its upper body up. I can't even describe how disturbing it is. My family and I had already eaten some by the time we noticed. We called the restaurant directly to let them know they shouldn't serve the salad. We were told they've never had they happen and the Uber driver may have dropped the items in transit. I was then put on hold for some time and told the manager was busy and they asked for my number to call me. I told them I already submitted a food safety issue with Uber eats and wanted to let them know what happened so that they didn't continue serving the salad. To me, the way that a business handles a problem reveals whether they truly care about customer satisfaction. General Manager Frank Carcamo demonstrated a level of service that was above and beyond. I was extremely impressed !!! It was FIVE issues all at once! 1) The corporate website was undergoing some type of overhaul, so to me (the customer) it was giving me the opportunity to place an online order for delivery . . . but then wound up in an endless loop of presenting an error message telling me to telephone the store. 2) ACFP's phone system was malfunctioning and continually moving my call back into the "press 1 for this, 2 for that" mode. And worse, the outbound message said only PICKUP orders could be phoned in. (contradiction from website). 3) Took 20 minutes to finally get a human being on the phone and it turned out their line hadn't rung all day, it too was on the fritz. 4) That person told me orders could only be placed via DoorDash. 5) DoorDash said the business was CLOSED ! GRRRRR!!! My patience had been exhausted and I was admittedly less than friendly when I finally General Manager Frank Carcamo came on the line. He was so sweet, apologetic and offered a resolution that was kind and generous and completely beyond my expectation. THANK YOU!!! P.S. -- the pizza was delicious and arrived hot too -- and the young lady delivering it refused the $10 tip I tried giving her!!! read more

The food is usually good here but I had a problem with my recent order. I ordered for pick up so I can't talk about the service at this location, but a pickup order should not come out looking like the attached photo. It wasn't an issue with how I handled the box either because half of the pizza stayed in place without an issue and the other half was destroyed to the point where it was basically inedible. Shout out to Anthony's coal fire pizza. Our server Scotty and GM Frank were amazing!! Our group of 15 ordered a lot of food. We started with meatballs, eggplant, and the chopped salad. In my opinion, the meatballs are the best meatballs in Miami. The appetizers were so good that we had to order a second round. We also ordered the dry rub chicken wings, Paulie's pie, the white pie, and the pepperoni pie. They were all delicious. The service was excellent! I can't wait to go back. I met my friend here for lunch and it was fine. I think I like some of the other locations better as this one really felt like it was in a strip mall- which it was. It didn't have that small intimate feeling like the other ones. We split a large salad and the food was good (we added chicken to our salad).
