Very small compared to how I remember them being jumbo and juicy years back, plus there was no facasia bread with them. We came in and were greeted by the staff and told to choose our own table, which was fine. Unfortunately, the table we selected had visible debris on it. When we politely asked to have it cleaned, our server seemed hesitant and suggested we just move to another table instead. We declined, and she eventually cleaned it, but the interaction already felt off. When we ordered, the first dish arrived in a reasonable amount of time. However, the second dish didn't come out until nearly 35 minutes later. We eventually had to walk up to the front to ask about it. I even asked if the pizza that was already sitting on the counter was ours, and they confirmed that it was. By that point we were hungry and just wanted to eat, so we didn't make a bigger issue out of it. Throughout the visit, our server never refilled our drinks. We had to go up to the front ourselves to ask for a refill. Later, we also had to get up and request the check because it seemed like we had been forgotten entirely. To make matters worse, once we received the check, the server informed us that one of the items we ordered was not on the lunch menu and had been upcharged. We tried to show another staff member their own online menu as evidence, but she brushed us off and said there was nothing they could do. I haven't eaten at this place in years. And I mean years. At least 10 years. My husband and I decided to order some because he had an uber deal and we got more bang for our buck. So we did take out after one very only work day. We got garlic knots (my favorite), garlic wings, and a white mushroom pizza (I suffer from gastritis and can't do red sauce). The garlic knots were amazing, tasting like it was straight from NYC. But I was bummed with the pizza. Don't know if it was the mushroom used or a seasoning they added to the pizza, but I found it very salty. Then the wings were bathing in this white garlicky sauce that I didn't dare touch it. We were craving pizza and wings so bad, we were in the area and this restaurant came up. It was our first time in an Anthony's we didn't know this place existed, and we were missing on a great place! We started off with some wings and focaccia, we had the garlic and romano wings and the original with grilled onions, they were sooo good and very flavorful. I just got to take picture of the garlic ones cuz the other ones were already gone, they were simply so good. The coal fired oven makes a difference on the flavor of the wings for sure. I tried their red sangria, following our waitress recommendation, and she was right, it was nice and light but at the same time got a little kick in it. Moving on to the moment of the truth, the pizza, it was so well done, the sauce was very well seasoned and balanced, the crust was crispy and soft at the same time, it was just outstanding. I loved this spot it was a recommendation from family that didn't dissapoint. I was super hungry so I forgot to snap a picture but I had a great meal here. I got the traditional wings with onions in top which was the icing on the cake(or wings). I got 10 and they were all nice drumsticks maybe had a couple of flats but they were cooked well. Also got tiramusu here which was decent. I am a tough judge because I have had my fair share of dessert. The service was pleasant and HOPE checked up on me at perfect times. I couldn't really taste the hot honey at all and question if it was even on the pie. The pizza itself was lacking enough sauce and was just ok. I have had better gluten free pies elsewhere. The wings, however, were a completely different story. I ordered the traditional roasted wings, extra crispy. The wings came topped with onions and what looked to be just a slice of pizza bread. The wings were magical. These might be the best wings I've ever had. They had the perfect texture being extra crisp while not being fried. The chicken was tender and cooked magnificently. We went last night to this location...everything is always consistent here unlike so of the other locations..we were promptly greeted and our Aqua Panna Water was served right away with no ice as requested. Lisandra was our server and she was excellent...we ordered the Garlic Parm Winds and Garlic Knots for an appetizer...they were served hot and fresh..I dropped a Garlic knot and asked our server if we could get another one and they brought two..I was bringing th home for my son...after the appetizer we ordered a Large Pizza with extra Cheese and Olives and the Meatball Sub...both ce out hot and fresh and were absolutely delicious..I really did not see extra cheese but it was still delicious ...it was very busy in there and service was excellent and I highly recommend this location and will be back in two weeks.... read more

Disastrous! It is so sad to see this Anthony's take such a fall on service, food, and ambiance. First 2 beers I asked for they did not have. One is a staple light beer. Then no Diet Pepsi or Coke. Only the Zero stuff. They have literally cut the onions and bread from the wings yet it costs more. Tge floors throughout the place were so slippery. Like they washed the floors with grease. To top off an absolutely horrible experience, they smoked out the place by burning something and opened the door and kept it open while it was 38 degrees outside. Most of the patrons had to put their coats and jackets on to stay warm. There appeared to be no guidance from any manager and you could feel the tension from the staff. We have been very long time customers of Anthony's, but this made us rethink our loyalty. It's a shame Anthony's used to be good. read more

Seems to be no end to ways in which you can get screwed these days. Decided not to pay for the delivery fees, and went on yelp to place an order for dinner, that I would drive, to pick up. There is no information on their Yelp page to let you know this, but to send our order information to Anthony's, via their Yelp page, Grubhub somehow gets to add 5 dollars to every dish, above Anthony's menu pricing. So I paid an extra 15 dollars, to order and go pick up my own food. Then I get home and open the brocoli rabe dish I ordered. Picture attached. That ridiculous side dish, cost me 21 dollars. We were in the "neighborhood" after a massage and we were starving. Literally, like a bar signal,the smell of garlic alerted us that we were in near proximity to something delicious. Anthony's has been on our list of places to try, but somehow we just never seem to make it to that side of town. Let me tell you, the pizza we ate makes Anthony's destination worthy. We started with garlic knots and saved the garlic butter into which we dipped our pizza crusts. Needless to say no vampires visited us last night. Table after table ordered the wings. I wish we had eaten them, but now we have an excuse to come back and try other menu items. We noticed a line of vehicles along the sidewalk when we arrived, they have really got takeout curbside delivery down to a science. Nice little place. The dining area is not jammed with tables so you can have some privacy when talking. Wait staff are on top of things. Our soft drinks never emptied and they checked on us often. My wife and I shared the chop salad. We also got the wings with garlic and Parmesan and they were really good. This was followed up with a 12" pizza with pepperoni and anchovies and the pizza was also very good. Remember the pizzas are wood fired which have a tendency to get the crust edges a bit charred which we like. They even have a sign that says "our pizzas are well done." THE FOOD TOOK F-O-R-E-V-E-R to come out! We were on our lunch hour and it was about 45 minutes before the food arrived to the table. Upon placing the order, the waitress asked if we wanted all the food at the same time which we replied "yes" however it was not all ready at the same time...actually the table that sat after us got their wings before our table got ours. We got our pizzas FINALLY and still had to wait for the wings. AND the wings were short 1 wing which we did bring to the waitress attention and she brought out 2 more. The pizzas were AMAZINGLY delicious, especially the Cauliflower pizzas! The traditional pizza was greasy and the crust was not as crisp as the Cauliflower one. FYI, the Cauliflower pizza is traditional crust pizza with roasted Cauliflower on it....they DO NOT have cauliflower crust, they only have GF crust and be warned that it is an upcharge. The cauliflower pizza was not greasy at all, was a bit crisp which I loved and the flavoring was just WOW! Leaving me wanting more!! Now, we get to why 2 stars --- only because of the GREAT TASTING PIZZA because the level of service SUCKED! The waitress never once checked in on us either before or after the food arrived. No drink refills.....she was too busy mingling in the kitchen area with the cook that was working. Not only did our lunch take FOREVER, making us about an hour late getting back to the office but the level of service was just lacking all around. Even when we did get her attention for the check and to-go boxes, it seemed more of a bother than anything. It's going to take a while for my party to get over this experience but hopefully when we do go back, there have been some improvements. Updating this review from a while back with very positive results! We went back to this location and actually dined in, was a treat and had a great time. Family friendly atmosphere and super friendly service, casual place with a lot to offer. The pizzas this time were cooked exceptionally well, tell tale markers of having been coal fired but not charred. Our party had the eggplant Marino and the hot honey pies- both delicious. We also ordered garlic knots - dripping with butter and garlic and Parmesan goodness. And of course their signature Anthony's wings. All fantastic as I know them to be, great flavor and well prepared. Less exciting to most people but not to me, also ordered the Italian salad. Crisp and fun :) definitely recommend it to balance out a heavy meal. Glad we gave them another shot, and will be back again to be sure. If you're looking for a good pizza place that has more to offer than just pies, I do recommend them. Anthony's has been in this same location for many years which is a huge indication of a well-managed restaurant (especially notable to survive post-Covid). Their happy hour is awesome!!! Not just discounted drinks but food too! The meatballs were delicious and if you are a member, you can get a discount on large cheese pizzas on certain nights of the week. Maybe just Wednesdays? I visited Anthony's with a coworker who is well-versed in their offerings, moreso than I am, but I thoroughly enjoyed the wine, pizza and meatballs! The bar is pretty small but we managed to snag two seats. The ambiance is casual and modest. I would definitely return for happy hour or an impromptu pizza trip! read more

The waitstaff, mostly what appear to be high-school age, just stood around talking. Our drinks were not filled, had to ask for a to-go box and the check. Decided to give it another try yesterday with a take-out order. Was given a time for pick-up and arrived just after that time. Order was not ready - at least half the order - wings were sitting in a box getting cold. Waited another 10 minutes or so for the pizza. Saw one come out of the oven and figured it was mine. A cluster of young high-school aged girls took the box, opened it several times, and then put it on the shelf with the wings and continued their conversation. Finally asked a couple of minutes later if that was my order, as it was obvious girls were not going to let me know. The food was ok - obviously the wings were lukewarm and once again the pizza seemed to be light on cheese. Disappointed, but not ready to give up on them yet. Would suggest management speak with the young staff about being more attentive to their guests. Maybe they just don't know better. They are the face of the business. I'm a big Anthony's Runway 84 fan and was glad to try this restaurant. It's a nice, casual space. Cameron, our waiter, was nice. He was really busy. The pizza was excellent. We had a mushroom and meatball pie and a Paulie's pie. Both were excellent Neapolitan pies with a thin crust. The Paulie's pie was particularly good. My only suggestion would be to cut the hot peppers into bite sized pieces. This place gets two thumbs up from the NY pizza snob! read more
