    Dungeness Crab & Shrimp Roll
    Mike L.

Hands down one of the best food truck experiences I've had in awhile! Anthony's Finn the Food Truck stopped by in our neighborhood in the Renton Highlands and the food was excellent and the portion sizes were perfect. I had the Fish n' Chips: the fish was crispy/perfectly breaded and moist. I think they must have used some type of sea salt and other seasonings that make it so much better than other fish n' chips I've had before. The fries were perfect as well. My wife had the Dungeness Crab & Shrimp Roll. I had a couple bites of it and it was amazing. I love the bread that they used which was perfectly toasted and buttered (I think), and it wasn't messy at all. We also shared a cup of Anthony's Clam Chowder which was creamy and a bit smokey...just delicious! Lastly, we also got the Wild Alaska Silver Salmon Bowl, but we didn't get to try it yet...we're saving it for lunch tomorrow. Having tried the other two menu items, we have no doubt that it's also delicious. It definitely looks and smells like it is. Words of Warning: this food truck is not cheap. The entrees are all between $14-$18 and sides are $5-$6, so depending on what you get, the bill can rack up fast. However, coming from a such a renowned and higher-end local restaurant, I think it's worth it. Tip: This food truck is highly recommended and in demand in my neighborhood, so I suggest to get there at least 20 minutes before opening. We were early and was fortunately 2nd in line, but by the time we picked up our order, the line was 20+ people deep. Best of luck, Yelpers!

Great service but subpar food. Would give the service a 5 (friendly, quick) and the food a 2. We ordered a crab/shrimp roll and the fishermen's platter. The crab/shrimp roll was 80% mayo. Didn't see any crab and the shrimp was teeny tiny. The fisherman's platter (mix of fried oysters, scallops & fish) was better but just very basic and bland panko breaded fish & chips. For $43 including tip, I was excited and looking forward to this treat. Overall it was disappointing.

So so so good! Everything was hot and fresh. I was very impressed. They catered to my work in Woodinville. 10/10 try the silver salmon

You've got to be kidding me!…read more Growing up, Spud was the staple in our family for the absolute best fish-n-chips around. They only had two locations for the longest time. One at Green Lake and the other in Kirkland next to Juanita Park. They now have another location by the ferry terminal in Edmonds, but I fear that this establishment has sold out to some large conglomerate as many small businesses have these days. We haven't visited Spud for a long time since we've lived in Tacoma, since 1990 but I remember the dingy little fish shacks being packed full of customers despite the layer of frying oil that seemed to coat every surface. The places were sacred ground, and the food was authentic, made and served with pride. The fish fillets were all different shapes because they hand cut the fish and battered it themselves. The fries were hand cut too and they made their own tartar sauce, and it was stellar! My mom and I visited just yesterday on July 10th, 2026, for our first time in probably over a decade and disappointment is a lighthearted word for the way we felt about the changes. Nothing is made from scratch anymore. The fish is all the same size and shape leaving me only one conclusion. It comes frozen from some warehouse now and is full of chemical preservatives. I'm sure the fries and onion rings are frozen too, and they now serve half the amount of tartar sauce in a sealed peal-open top container with their logo printed on the lid. For comparison, the tartar used to come in a clear plastic container with a snap-on lid. Whatever sauce is in the new containers is NOT the same tartar that they used to sell. On top of that, the prices that they are charging these days is ridiculous! $19 for two pieces of cod (not halibut) and some fries is price gouging in my opinion. Needless to say, Spud has fallen way off of our list as the staple for fish-n-chips in the Seattle area. The staff are friendly and it's not their fault that things suck, but we won't be back. Thank you for reading and Cheers!

Dining in is an option, I've only experienced to go as it's most convenient for my family. Ordering is always easy, text messages about the order status allows for ideal arrival time. Cute little cafe market but gets really busy on the weekend so hop on that waitlist!…read more I didn't realize they had a waitlist you could join on their website before arriving. We joined at the restaurant and although there were tons of empty tables and we arrived pretty early we still had a 45 minute wait. Pretty hard with a toddler. The front is all parking and there's street parking. Not a lot of safe space to let a toddler run about. Food - chai tea - on the sweet side for chai - coconut cake - a tad too sweet for our taste and a bit dry - fries to share - fried chicken and gravy - saucy and tasty but wish it came with toast or biscuits - sandwich - my husband got this and it was ok. A little too wet for my taste. Overall, not a bad experience but compared to other spots it fell short. Maybe if we had jumped on the waitlist sooner and waited less it would have been better for us. Definitely an our fault move. The food was just ok. I was excited for the cake and a bit disappointed.

The food is a bit of a mixed bag, but the cod is a must-try. It was packed with flavor, beautifully complemented by a unique mix of nuts, dried grapes, and pineapple. The salmon was also well-cooked, though its sides and toppings fell a little bland. For dessert, we tried the chocolate lava cake. We've spend around $150 for two. While we appreciated the staff letting us know it would take 15 minutes to prepare, the flavor itself was fairly standard--just a classic lava cake with raspberry sauce and a truffle filling that felt a bit too rich to finish. A huge perk of dining here is the parking situation. They offer complimentary valet as well as two hours of free parking in the P2 garage, which is an absolute lifesaver during busy weekend rushes.

We wanted to try their fish and chips but they happen to serve Seafood gumbo on some days. I am a sucker for gumbo but most of the places outside of NOLA had let me down big time. So I hesitated. I decided to asked for a spoon of gumbo to sample before I order a cup. The young man at the counter started scooping a cup, yes, a real cup so I figured he heard me wrong. When I asked how much, he replied, free for you. Really?! Awesome!!! Now my husband and son's turn, ok, they ordered like there's no tomorrow and below is how I ranked them. Seafood Gumbo - OMG, other than a little saltier for my taste, it is on point. As good as it can get. Highly recommended. Clam chowder- not bad but gumbo was way better. Fried chicken- was alright. Crab puppies - yummy Fried calamari- tough and chewy Fishes - soggy way too dried Salmon - very light battered which were great but fish were dried. Way over fried. Shrimps - over fried and dried Clam strips - too dried Chips - all were soggy even though we asked for extra crispy. Slaw - crisp and tasty. I rather eat this than the soggy fries/chips. I would definitely return for the seafood gumbo and crab puppies.
