    Coastline burger Vanilla shake

Coastline burger not bad but also not great. Burger patty was juicy fresh but under seasoned and the coastline sauce was pointless. The buns were most memorably unique for their soft fluffiness which soaked the juices well. Madagascar vanilla bean milkshake is so finely sweet and aromatic. Noteworthy and worth coming back for

First time here I got the chicken sandwich with all the toppings. I think this is one of the better chicken sandwiches I have had in a while. The bun was fresh and soft and the Patty was hot . First bite burnt the tip of my I was not hungry enough to really get more than the sandwich since I ate less than an hour ago. If in the area again will swing back in, I do declare. The service was good . 345 traffic is bad. It says 345 traffic traffic is

I don't know why I don't go to Coastline more often, the food is great but the BEST part is the service. Happy guys smiling, being extra helpful, kind, and just plain awesome. I was there today and a little boy spilled his milkshake on the floor, the dad was flustered trying to keep his other kid entertained and looking for something to clean. The nice gentleman behind the counter came out immediately and calmed the boy down, told the dad not to worry and started cleaning. This same gentleman heard it was my birthday and said he would sing for me. The space is small but very cute. Keep it up Coastline.

We ordered the forager burger and spicy bbq. Nice juicy and tasty burgers. They are really delicious and yummy. Loved it. Must try once for sure. Ambiance is nice. Basically you have inside restaurant very few seatings and outside patio seatings. The only downside I feel is self service. You need to order inside in kiosk and if you sit outside you might need to check inside if the order is ready. We sat outside in patio on a sunny day :). But service time was quite fast. Limited parking space. Food :4/5 Service :4/5 Ambiance :4/5

Unassuming little burger shop that packs a punch. The setup reminds you of a diner, and the friendliness of the staff creates a welcoming atmosphere. The burgers and fries are delicious, serving up a great balance between grease and freshness. I can't wait to try more of the menu.

What a fun burger joint! A cozy quaint exterior but a more modern dining experience. There are tablets inside for you to place your order yourself and then plenty of short stools/table against the wall for seating. Quite small inside but we were the only patrons on a rainy Sunday afternoon. There is no interaction between staff and customers besides them calling out the order. The water, condiments, utensils etc are all self-service. While it makes for a self sufficient dining experience, it feels a little cold. Onto the food, the burgers were good with a very nice special sauce. The fries were a smaller cut than I usually prefer but the ranch was wonderful.

Great food and atmosphere in a tiny package. Best compliment I can give is that my wife tried the seasonal Fried Chicken Cramberry Club, and when asked how it was, she responded by saying, "I would normally offer you a bite but I know that means I would have one less bit." I have tried asking her a few more times what she thinks and she said, "Shut up I'm eating."

Burger is smaller than the bun. 1/3 bun left without burger :(

TL;DR: Fries are AMAZING. Buns are significantly bigger than the patty. Parking: small private lot and street parking. Atmosphere: very limited indoor seating, upbeat music playing in background, lots of grill sizzling sounds. Service: order and pay at the kiosk up front, your name will be called, pick up your order and seat yourself if dining in, water dispenser near the restroom to the left of the kiosks, condiments to the right of the kiosks. Menu: on the kiosk, simple menu with short descriptions containing strictly burgers, shakes and fries. Only 3 canned drink options. Rotating seasonal burgers. The Coastline Burger: great flavor combos and the toppings are very fresh! The only thing I didn't really appreciate was that the patty was so small compared to the bun. I had 1/3 of bun leftover with no patty and toppings. I got a single patty and the sandwich as a whole definitely felt more heavy on the bread side even with the toppings. Haystack Fries: I can eat these ALL DAY. Not overly greasy at all and they have the perfect crispy on the outside, soft on the inside texture. Perfectly salted as well. Pretty generous proportion to share or eat my yourself--get a whole order for yourself if you ask me. Too good to share! I personally don't think the buns are "the greatest buns of all time" like the giant sign claims them to be. But they are still better than your average burger joint bun. If you're feeling particularly hungry, I would suggest two patties as opposed to just one. And this is coming from me, a small person!

Bacon burger with an extra patty

This was great food, great value, great location! I'd put this style burger in the realm of Five Guys, Shake Shack, Fatburger... But while those others seem overpriced for what you get these days I think Coastline delivers more. The meal was hot and fresh, with a well flavored patty and wrapped in a nice looking tiny paper sack that left it visible but tightly contained. I went for the bacon burger (only 7.99 and it had thick bacon and fried fresh onions on it?) and added an extra patty for 2 more. I know, a $10 burger with my additions isn't cheap, but the burger was THICK, cheesy, hot, flavorful, and had nice crisp lettuce and pickles with those great fried onions. Add in some shoestring fries and I was stuffed when I finished and will skip the double patty next time. I'm a bit behind on my review, and went back within three days to get more. Got my teenager the same bacon burger (also looooved it) and I tried a coastline burger but subbed grilled chicken. It also came out flavorful and cooked well (could have been a bit jucier but was in no way dry). I'll be back again, maybe along with a walk in the park and some molly moon after. If they bring out a cookies and creme shake, I'll skip the molly moon!

If you know me, I'm always looking for a good burger. This place has savory burgers with a cute little location in downtown Redmond. The service is fast and the staff is really friendly. The area is really nice if you'd also want to walk it off or stop by again for a milkshake. Definitely coming back again

Substituting an impossible patty now costs $6, which is ridiculous. In February it was $3. Not worth the price.

It felt lively without being too loud, and the staff was welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food was the highlight of the night. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, but more importantly, everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. You can tell they focus on quality ingredients instead of overcomplicating the menu. The flavors were bold without being overwhelming, and each plate felt like it was made with care. Service was just as impressive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and checked on us throughout the meal without making us feel rushed. The timing between courses was perfect, which made the entire dining experience feel smooth and enjoyable. What I appreciated most was how everything came together--the atmosphere, the food, and the service all complemented each other. It's the kind of restaurant that's great for a date night, celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying a quality meal with family or friends. Woodblock is the type of place that reminds you why dining out can be such a great experience. I'll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu, and it's an easy recommendation for anyone looking for one of the best restaurants on the Eastside.

Any percentage they charge will get deducted from tipping and discourage us from coming again. 2. They no longer validate parking in the garage behind it since several years ago. Street parking is limited and painful sometimes. 3. They exited Resy network a few years ago - that was one of the reasons we kept coming. 4. The food is still good but the quality is declining. The "+add brisket" option which costs $10 on top of the Mac and Cheese was the driest I've had in many years. They also removed menu items like duck chicken liver mouse which were really good.

I got the combo - Hawaiian chicken + karaage requesting extra salad instead of rice, as well as a half order of loco moco. It's nice that there is half order as a lot of Hawaiian restaurants tend to be full orders so it is incredibly hard to try a variety of options if you're solo or in a small group. The Hawaiian chicken and karaage both are juicy and delicious. It's great that the combo is the same price as the standard individual options so I got to try more variety without paying extra. I looked at the reviews and opted to remove the rice and get extra salad which was a good move - their chop chop salad is very delicious with a nice balance of dressing, cheese, and ham. I still had some rice from the loco moco, which was sufficient for me. The loco moco is good - I wished the patty was a bit less tough but the gravy and egg make up for it. Overall, great value and great food. I'd be a regular if I didn't live so far from Kirkland (1 hr drive for food can be challenging in busy schedules)

I noticed that most of the ladies who take the order, push for addons/fixin's, while the males listen to the order quietly. For example, my usual order is double baconmaster no lettuce no tomatoes. When I order with a male, he listens, takes the order and I pay, no drama. When a lady takes the order, she usually interrupts me at the "double baconmaster " and asks if I want onions pickles and whatever. So I have to say no, and say "no lettuce no tomatoes". She then asks again to confirm about onions and pickles etc. NOOOOOO I don't want anything more, just listen to what I want!!! Today in particular, this new lady that I never interacted with, did the same thing and made it very difficult and unpleasant. I wish the servers stopped being pushy and learned to just listen. It's probably ok to ask for extras at the end, but let the customer finish the order please. I'll keep my review 5* for now, but it bothers me so much that I might knock it down if this doesn't change, it ruins my experience. Edit 4/25/2026: okay, exactly the day after this review, I went back. A young male server takes the order, today I ordered my usual, but I did not say no lettuce no tomatoes (want the full experience today). He takes the order, smiles and asks "no no lettuce and tomatoes today?". I mean, this is service, he made me feel good and the whole interaction was pleasant and respectful. He didn't ask for anything else. Awesome service.
