Update: Took me awhile to give an updated review. Since the food poisoning incident they didn't want to refund us instead they gave us 4 gift cards of 25 dollars each total of 100. Thats how much we spent at this terrible and disgusting restaurant. We gave it another try because we don't know who to give it to. Saturday night 01/24/2026 at 5:53 the restaurant had only 4 tables and that's including ours as well. The moment we came in we felt unwelcome then the hostess stated that it was "so busy that there's going to be a 20 minute wait" we said ok we'll wait, once they were ready for us to be seated I was so shocked of how empty it was and she has the audacity to make that statement of being busy. I want to start off that the place is under construction so I want to take that into consideration. The staff at the location really carry the place. The hostess was friendly and easy to converse with. The waiter was kind and attentive, and we were checked on twice by management. The food was decent. Nothing to rave about, but decent food. I had the Chicken Marsala and the chicken was cooked well and the Alfredo side was good. My one concern, there is a smell (methane gas) perhaps. I hope during the construction they fix this. It truly takes away from the experience. It's constant and strong. So all and all, staff are amazing and the food is good. Once the construction is complete perhaps I'll try again. read more

When we walked in, we were not greeted at all---nobody at host stand. We waited a few minutes but could no longer stand the rancid smell. We decided not to stay and eat. I'm not sure what the smell was, but I could not imagine eating while smelling that. Whatever happened with this restaurant's food in the past has massively improved. I'm writing as a delivery customer. My entree was huge and tasted great. Beef, shrimp, excellent pasta that is made by hand and awesome sauce. The dessert was so huge that half is still in the fridge 3 days later. Got the complimentary bread(yum), a good salad and bought a side of broccoli. There was enough for two full meals, plus that bit of dessert still waiting to be eaten. Had a gift card that I needed to use and chose this spot for a birthday dinner. Needless to say we probably won't be back based on the subpar food. For being a well known Italian restaurant it was quite empty. Not a good sign.. Service was great. We had a new guy, it was his first day, and he was awesome. He had so much pep in his step and truly went above and beyond throughout our meal. Food is mediocre for the price. The best things we had were the bread, caesar salads and the john cole dessert. Chicken Bryan. The chicken was cooked good, but there was an over abundance of goat cheese, which overtook the overall flavor of the dish. And the broccoli was simply not good. The waitress came to the table never said her name asked if she could get us something to drink we wanted diet coke. She said, 'we 'don't have that it wasn't ordered or something.' My husband asked for bread and qwe ordered our meal at the same time. She brought our bread and soup at the same time. The bread was so hard. The crust just broke in your hands. We had to soak it in the soup for it to be soft enough. to eat, I also ordered a wine spritzer with my meal , which was a good thing because she never came back to ask us if we wanted refills until the meal was over and she brought the check. So my husband had to drink my Coke so he would have something to drink. We'd asked her for more bread before our meal came to the table. She never brought it. She never asked if we needed a refill of drinks, until we were already at the end of meal and she had just delivered the check. We asked for two boxes when she came to bring the check. She never brought them. She never came back to get the check. I had to take the check up to the counter and give it to her as she's texting and that's why she never got to me because she was so busy texting. I said you never brought our bread and you never brought our boxes. She gave me two boxes with no bag. I asked one of the cooks and he gave us one. The night manager always comes over to ask how the meal was. He did not. He had been having a toast with these people that were in the restaurant prior to us having a raffle get together. One woman won a bottle of bourbon and the manager said let's all have a shot so they all had a shot and he never came back out to the restaurant. I wanted to show him that my mashed potatoes were mashed except for the whole potatoes that were in it there. I've been going to Carrabba's for over 20 years. If I was a new customer, I would NEVER go back. I have contacted the store and asked for the manager. I talked with somebody and he said the manager would call me back and make it right. Ugh, what a waste of time. Sat at the bar by myself on a Sunday evening. Bartender didn't even look up to say hello or hand me a menu. I get it, you're making drinks but at least acknowledge me. My wife grew up having Carrabba's for special occasions and wanted some of their delicious Chicken Bryan. We ended up both getting Trios to get a little bit of everything. They were delicious! My wife had the chicken trio, which was three different types of their chicken, I had the Johnny trio that included steak, chicken bryan, and a ravioli. Both came with choice of soup or salad, we went with Caesar salads. They were a little heavy on the dressing but overall good. We also enjoyed the bread and oil with spices, it is a great complementary starter. Overall the food was good, but a little pricy depending on what you choose. The decor is old and the place needs a deep clean. The menu has never bounced back to what it used to be pre-Covid. (And we've been asking for years for a GF bread, to no avail.) When I finally got somebody to come up to us I asked them if they could help us the server wasn't really trying to seat us so I asked if there's a private event or something and he told me no but you'll have to wait another 10 minutes when more than half the restaurant was empty. Blandest Italian food I had in my life. I had the Mozzarella Marinara and Fettuccine Alfredo. My expectations were low going in but I was really craving some fettuccine alfredo. The complimentary bread and olive oil tasted great. The fried mozzarella was near tasteless and the marinara dipping sauce wasn't much better. However, the alfredo sauce was some of the blandest food I've ever eaten. I was not aware you could make some make alfredo sauce this tasteless. Straight cream would have more flavor than the sauce I was served. Avoid this place unless unflavored oatmeal is your favorite food; and even then I think you could get something much cheaper. read more

To be more specific, after waiting for person to be seated, the hostess directed to seats in the lounge, the restaurant wasn't busy, maybe two tables,no reason to be seated in the lounge and forgotten. It seems to be your preference of seating for people of color in your establishment. This place is very tired. The bar top is old and sticky. Most of the seasoned staff have departed. Prices have gone up but quality and service have gone down. Been going here for several years and sadly have watched it decline. There were a total of two parties seated at tables and a total of two cooks in the kitchen. Yet our meal took 35 minutes to come and somehow they forgot to bring the appetizer we ordered. 1st Visit, in town with Family for the weekend. Browsing over the menu, there were many intriguing options to choose from. Settled on the Lobster Ravioli w/Ceasar salad to start. Portion size was spot on for the price along with the quality of the meal. Clear and present chunks of Lobster in the filling and seasoned very well. If I had to say on thing, the sauce could have been a bit more creamy. The Ceasar salad was awesome! The dressing had just the right amount of tart without making your face twinge. Lol! I also tasted the prosciutto wrapped asparagus and while I'm not a huge fan of asparagus, it was great!! We need this place in StL! read more
