I love ordering pizza from this location. My visit tonight was wonderfully uneventful, which is exactly how I like it. Ordering a pizza on Friday night, I expected it to take a bit longer than usual. When I called in my meal the girl who answered told me it would be about an hour before my meal was ready. I showed up 45 minutes later expecting to wait for fifteen minutes, I waited 15 minutes and my meal was ready. A friend was visiting and staying at a hotel near here, and we went here as a "What's quick and nearby and isn't crappy fast food?" I was surprised with how tasty the pizza was. I grew up in New York, and this brought back memories of the pizza I grew up with. The crust was thin and crisp with a just the right amount of grease to not interfere. I tried a standard pepperoni slice because I'm boring, and a white slice (white sauce, not tomato) because I'm still boring but in a slightly less predictable way. The white slice was really what sold it for me. The pepperoni slice was good but slightly burned, but the white slice just seemed to work perfectly. If this place wasn't some tiny place in a strip mall way out of my way, I'd go back for that white slice of pizza. I'm not loving this place enough to go out of my way to go back, but if any friends happen to stay at one of the million hotels near this place, I know where I'm suggesting lunch. read more

Just moved to Colorado and 1st time ordering Pizza for delivery. Easy online ordering and promised delivery an hour from placing order. I called an hour and 15 minutes later to hear that they were 1hour and 45 minutes behind. I was 1st told the pizza wasn't even made yet and a couple minutes later was told it was ready. I had to pick it up in order not to wait another 1/2 hour for delivery. When arrived I was told my 3.00 delivery charge will be credited and they really could care less of their awful customer service. when we got home the pizza was cold. Awful experience!!! read more

I ordered at 6:40 and didn't get get my order till 8:30. I would have let that go if the pizza was actually good. I ordered crispy, which means burnt apparently, the middle was still soggy with burnt cheese and crust. The cheese on this pizza is so far from good...feels and tastes plastic. And the pizza was cold as hell. If I wasn't so hungry from having to wait almost 2 hours I would have called and ordered again but I was afraid they would take another 2 hours. read more

It has to be 5 stars. I dont really care about the service etc, but that was fine. Great Neopolitan slice, or what we call a slice in NY. Thin almost cracker-like crust, full sized pizzas, oily (a sign of good cheese), balanced pizza sauce (not too much oregano or anything , not raw) perfectly made pizza (proportions and cook). And all the NY Pizzeria basics for your pizza... For me just a couple chili flakes. Good prices IMO. read more

When you pay $23.00 for an 18in pizza you would think there would be more than 7 pieces of pepperoni and .20 cents of mushrooms. Anthony's is known for ripping you off on the toppings, go anywhere else but Anthony's,... if you like REAL pizza. read more

Do not order pizza from here if you want a delivery . I was quoted an hour and 10 minutes at the latest .at that time and no pizza I called back. I asked what was taking so long and was told we were the next to go out . Also the girl told me that 1:45 minutes was the wait time tonight for the delivery times! That's not what we were told or I would have ordered elsewhere !!! I asked to speak to a manager and he said " we don't have enough ovens" to get all the pizzas out ...! Had pizza here at Iliff and Buckley Road and it was absolutely delicious. Happen on this place after a woman directed us to it when another pizza place was closed. Best suggestion I have ever had. Definitely disappointed. Order was to be ready at 7:40pm. I got there a little early. Walked in and waited at the counter, I noticed that the two ladies at the register were on the phone so I went at sat down on the bench. They were both off the phone about 2-3 minutes later. They started a conversation between then while I'm still there and have not been acknowledged. 6 minutes later, I'm still sitting and a guy walks in and went to the counter and was assisted immediately and walked out with his order. Still nothing has been said to me so I walked up to the counter and let her know that I have been waiting and was here before the guy walked in. Still no acknowledgment or apology was given. I took my order and left. Arrived at home, the pizza crust was very hard. Overall this was not a good experience. read more

My daughter lives in Aurora, her boyfriend recommended this place. I love New York style pizza, and this place had it, very hard to find that NY taste, my 8 year old grandson ate 4 slices, and the slices are huge. I live 5 minutes from Black Jack's pizza but I was really in the mood for really good NY style pizza with authentic crust and sauce seasoned so well, a thin layer only needed; fresh buffalo mozzarella sweet melting cheese to top it off. Tried the place again after not being happy with my last visit. Yeah they actually had slices of pizza available to purchase. had a slice with the salad. Was good- what I expected. was happy. Would have given one more star- except the manager was having a discussion with another customer. Then after the customer left - listened to the manager talk loudly about the customer to the other employees. While it might be called New York style pizza you are in Colorado. You can tell a customer no without being a little bit of a donkey's backside about it. Dining room seemed clean- From what I heard- the guy just wanted a pizza that wasn't burned..... The Manager said we dont' burn pizza --- so the manager should have had no problem selling the guy a pizza. From the conversation I heard it sounded like the previous pizza had been burned and they had given the guy a couple of slices of pizza that time- and he just wanted to make sure this pizza wouldn't be burned. I do realize people might have different concepts of what a burnt pizza might be. Checked my crust it wasn't burnt nice and crispy/crunchy. This was, by far, the best pizza we've had since moving to the Denver area in 2012. The pizza situation has been frustrating for us east coast natives, but Anthony's did not disappoint! Great crust - the perfect fold in half kind, the sauce wasn't too sweet and it didn't overtake the whole pizza, and they weren't stingy with the toppings. I must have caught them on a bad night, twice. First time I ordered a veggie pizza, garlic bread and cannoli. Pizza was soggy and undercooked and they forgot the cannoli. Not too big a deal, Im used to soggy undercooked pizza since moving here and everyone can forget from time to time. The second time: I waited 2 hours for the delivery, I called and was told it was on its way. Given it was snowing thought that was reasonable. Hour 3 comes and goes, still nothing. I call to see if possibly I missed the doorbell or what, the person that answers the phone says hold on. Then a guy gets on the phone stating, "what's the problem?" (seriously?) I told him and he said my card was declined and they were trying to reach me. I then asked then why an hour ago did someone tell me it is on the way? Furthermore, my bank show that the transaction went through. I then asked who I was speaking with and he refused to tell me, just the manager is not here he is on deliveries. I was left with no option but to go up there and try and get my money back. While there I finally spoke with one guy that had somewhat of a clue about customer service and got my my money back. I am a very patient person as I had worked in the restaurant business and know it is a tough job, but seriously? Since it was snowing I was planning on tipping very well for this service, I ended up time a drive through guy instead. I hope these two occasion were just some fluke but I will not be going back. read more

This used to be a good place. It's gone downhill in recent months. I dunno if it's because staff has changed or if management just doesn't care. Tonight we went in for a little bit of everything-my mother got a slice of pizza, I got the chicken parm, and my father got wings. We also got a salad and some cheese bread to share. The cheese bread was sad tonight, it had very little garlic butter and was pretty sparse on the cheese. The salad was fine. We then waited a good twenty minutes for the rest of our food. Or should I say two thirds of our food. The wings and chicken parm came out eventually. The chicken parm was the only good dish. The wings came out misshapen and honestly a little sad looking, definitely not worth the price they charge. And then we waited for my mother's slice of pizza. It finally came out, about ten minutes after the rest of the food. While I understand most of the slice come from premade pies, this slice looked old and crusty underneath the extra cheese and mushrooms that had been placed on top. In fact, it kind of looked like death warmed over with melted cheese. She said it tasted ok. When we mentioned that it was late to the person that brought it out, he didn't even turn back to us to mumble about not knowing what to tell us. We definitely will put this place on the back burner, and might even remove it from the places we patronize because of this experience. It's really sad because I have a lot of fond memories of this place from high school and I hate to see it go this way. Edit: So we also got to talk to someone, I dunno if it was a manager or not, and I really didn't appreciate the fact that they invalidated our experience. They did offer to void my mothers slice of pizza, which while it might have been a nice gesture, I don't appreciate being told that our experience with the food wasn't correct. read more

Delivery: excellent. Had pepperoni pizza, stuffed shells, farmer salad, and wings. Food was hot and delivered within the hour as stated at time of order. I would recommend to someone for a first time try that is tired of the other boring locals. (I.E. Dominos, Pizza Hut, Blackjack, etc.) read more

Sadly disappointed in this particular location with a couple of things. First thing is on the web site for Anthony's Pizza it claims to have glutton free Pizza and failed to have it when taking time off for lunch to try it out. The employee who took my order stated " oh we don't have it at this location." The second thing I was disappointed in was Anthony's Pizza wifi. It's 2014 and Anthony's Pizza doesn't have wifi? It shows up on smart phones and has a lock, when asked what the password was by the same employee who took our order, he claimed they didn't have wifi. I then showed him the wifi with it saying Anthony's and he said again "oh not at this location...sorry I only work here" terrible. So I ordered a salad lol at a Pizza place due to them falsely advertising having "glutton free pizza" this location doesn't have it together and gets a huge #FAIL! read more

Love this place !! High dollar pie, but a dam good one! Crust is killer, toppings are always fresh and good, But the sauce really takes this pie to a happy place, been ordering pizza for the last 10 years here. Delivery times are usually about an hour... At 7:30pm on Saturday night a friend and I came in and ordered 3 slices a fountain drink and a beer. I've been in the business 26 years and in all my career I've never felt so insulted by the staff. The closing time is 9:30pm. I know because I asked as we left. We were trying to eat as the staff literally got out a mop and started moving tables all over screeching across the floor which made having any conversation impossible to do so. Not to mention we were sitting next to the partition where we were banged up against around 6-8 times while trying to eat. I have been in Anthony's several times during the day and was never treated like this. I get that people want to get their side work done and that's fine but 7:30pm 2 hours before closing was absurd. They then started filling the ice machine loudly which seemed pointless considering that the syrups were almost all out anyway and my guest ended up with Diet Coke. Definitely not what he wanted at all. I asked the girl at the counter while ordering what kind of beer they had and her answer was. "I don't know anything about beer". I'm assuming she knew how to read. But maybe I was incorrect. Our bill was 14.99. I tipped $4 and I'm still trying to figure out why... I typically always look for the good in any situation but I truly can't find one for this dining experience. read more
