This is probably my favorite pizza place in KP, and it's a little hidden so you probably wouldn't suspect that! Even on Super Bowl Sunday I was able to place an order and pick it up within 20 minutes. My favorite thing is their garlic stick pie- basically cheesy garlic pizza with sauce on the side for dipping and so highly recommended! Stopped in here for a couple of slices for lunch while passing through KP. VI arrived around 1120 so all the pies on the counter were fresh. About 5 or 6 different choices, I opted for a regular cheese slice and a "chicken Parmesan" slice. Both were very good, although the chx parm slice was just like a Sicilian slice with chicken and cut like a regular pie. Regardless, it was yummy. I'll come back here again. read more

Very solid pizza place. They have a good Sicilian pie and also a stuffed meat pie with ricotta. They deliver which is beneficial because not every place in the area delivers. Crust is very flavorful and pizza is a good size. The stuffed meat pie has a generous amount of meat and cheese and comes with so many slices. Definitely will go back and recommend. read more

Pretty decent place but I wouldn't give 5 stars cause it's a very mediocre place for pizza. They're is only a few slices that I think are really good like then Caesar salad slice/buffalo chicken salad slice,the Mac n cheese slice,and the garlic stick slice. I used this pizzeria at least twice weekly for 7 years. They know us well and we usually get delivery. This past year we have had MANY issues. We dont get parts of our order, something is ALWAYS, forgotten, under cooked, burnt or cold. Finally we call to speak to management. Management argued with us for 5 minutes and we demanded a free pie as we spend over $300 a month at this restaurant! We got that pie tonight. The delivery guy got nasty with me assuming there would be no tip. I did have a tip and gave him a lecture on how not to be a nasty little punk. His attitude is a reflection of his management. Also going into the establishment is off putting as the Male employee stare at the scantily dressed counter female employees. It is so blatant my daughter and I are uncomfortable when in the restaurant. Stay away and NEVER order thier wings! read more

I am a huge fan of Short Stop mainly for one reason...BBQ Chicken Pizza. They make it the best I've ever had. They always have other specialty pies going though, and regular is fab too. Heros are good there also. Chicken Parm is outstanding. Parking can get a little hairy. The train station is RIGHT there, as well as a Blockbuster that's always hopping. Staff is young and friendly. This is the best pizza in town, and probably the best pizza in about a 10 mile radius. They do a 3 for 2 deal on heros, huge value there. They have nice sized salads on the menu at a steal. I don't drink soda, like ever, yet every time I come here I get an ice-cold fountain Coke and it's the perfect tasty beverage to wash it all down. I usually get a large and ask for a refill and they don't even charge me! Only things that keep Short Stop from being the 5-star pizzeria is the skimpy amount of meat in the heros. Usually I find that as a bit of a saving grace since it's not really very expensive anyway and at least it chops a few calories off...but man if only they'd put more substance there, it'd be worth a few extra minutes on my daily cardio. read more

If you are in Kings Park, this is the best pizza in town. In the whole world of pizza is probably give it 3.5 stars but that's not an option here. It's not expensive, not greasy, and not too salty. The salad is good too and the meatballs are yummy. And since I've been coming here (after Martino's closed) Short Stop has always been consistent.
