Nearly every single thing they make is terrific - I have absolutely no idea where these negative reviews are coming from. Used to be a frequent customer, but quality has decreased and prices have doubled. The only thing unique to Anthony's is their calzones. The buffalo chicken calzone is what me going back from time to time. The rest can be found elsewhere in town for a much better price. This place is a hidden gem...only place around with sweet pizza on the menu. My husband and I ordered once a week, only $9 for a large sweet (just add Siracha...heaven in your mouth)! It's got great food. But the last few times we have gone in there they have charged over us compared to what it in their menu board prices. This is our go-to spot when my husband and I have the "what should be have for dinner" conversation. They have nightly specials (Mondays half priced calzones etc) so you can always get a good deal. Their sweet sauce pizza is delicious and the best "house of pizza" that we have found. Not to mention the price is right. Greek salad is a also a favorite! read more

Worst fish & chips of my life. This was only my 2nd time getting Anthony's. First time I got roast beef and waffle fries and it was quite good. However, after this recent experience I will never, ever go back. I got delivery. Fish & chips dinner for me and roast beef for my brother. The menu, which I got 1 week ago, clearly states the fish is FRESH haddock. Menu also says dish comes with tartar sauce. Right away upon opening the container you could tell something was seriously wrong. The fish smelled extremely fishy and was as flat as a pancake. Breading was soggy and fish was completely dried out...like you would expect from freezer burned frozen fish. I could only take two bites before spitting it out and feeling queasy (I do not have a weak stomach at all). It tasted like old frozen fish that was then not cooked correctly. You know, I'm not expecting a grand meal from a roast beef shop. However, I expect to 1. Not be lied to on the menu and 2. At least get edible food. This fish was atrocious. Worst I've ever had and I've had my fair share of fish & chips. My brother's roast beef was good. He also tried a bite of the fish and had to spit it out and wash out his mouth. That's how disgusting it was. Also, no tartar sauce included, which again is stated on the menu as coming with the meal....not that I could have eaten it any way. So, this order was delivered and I was so upset by the quality of this food and wasting $12 of my money that I drove to the restaurant to personally return it. The girl at the counter looked to another girl who appeared to maybe be a manager, who told her to give me my money back. I told her that it smelled and tasted fishy and was definitely frozen. Now here's the best part of this whole nightmare....she says, "Yeah, all the fish is frozen. We use frozen fillets. We tell people if they ask.". Why would I ever think to ask this if their newly printed menus clearly state it is FRESH fish being used?!?! I told her the menu says it's fresh. She had no response...just walked away to make more horrible misrepresented food I guess. Also, no apology for the the food or me having to drive there to return it. Had a half of pasta coupon and thought I would try it because I liked their other meals. I got the chicken, ziti, broccoli Alfredo which was almost inedible. It's too bad because I was so hungry. The woman working there said they used crushed dried basil and must of forgot to put in on and then gave me dried crushed oregano a dirty look and no apolgy. And they are expensive. Stopped there on a Sunday afternoon. Drove by this place many times, thought I'd check it out. I regret now that I didn't keep on driving. Ordered a Junior Beef extra mayo. Only 3 other people in the place, 2 of them were these hyper unsupervised brats acting like idiots bouncing all over the empty chairs and tables. I picked out the cleanest dirty table, sat down in one of their hollowed out, rickety, child size aluminum chairs, (they must have got a good deal at the local Dollar Store), put my food down, and the table started to tip over since the legs weren't balanced and there was a hole in the floor as well. I came close to falling over on my face towards the floor. The three oblivious giggling teenage girl servers were too engrossed with their Dumbphones to ask me if I was okay, or even care for that matter. So after finding a spot that wasn't going to send me to the ER, I opened the wrapper to my Junior Beef. Brought it up to my mouth, right away I smelled a foul oder. Took a bite, spit it out. Thought I got a bad piece of meat in it. Took another bite, same thing. Tasted like meat left out in the sun all day, putrid and nasty. I was so livid at this point, I couldn't be bothered asking to see the manager for my money back since there wasn't one there anyways, just young and dumb kids, even the so called "cook". I scrunched up the rotten roadkill sandwich, and did a Tom Brady spiral throw into the trash barrel 6 feet away. Threw open the dilapidated and torn screen door, (hey, the flies might enjoy this place, but most humans won't), got in my truck and peeled out of the parking lot to the nearest Burger King right down the street. Ordered delivery from Anthony's for the first time tonight. It took an hour for delivery, which even on a Friday night seems a little outrageous. Once we got our food, it was a huge disappointment. Chicken kabob salad with wilted lettuce from hot chicken being put on it, but yet the whole thing was room temperature since it had probably been sitting waiting to be delivered for a half hour. Fries were also cold, and I was disappointed that they were tiny shoe string like fries. The pita bread was delivered to me inside an emptied Piantedosi's sub roll bag, which really just tells me you've given up. For the price, the salad was very small, and definitely the smallest of any similar places I've ordered from in this area. Won't be ordering from Anthony's again. read more

No. Just no. This is right down the street from work and all my co-workers go there so I decided to give it a try. How disappointing!! Little example - Just today I ordered a chicken caesar salad. What I received was way more chicken than necessary (2 breasts?), some warm lettuce, melted cheese, warm croutons. I can only guess all the salad ingredients were warmed/cooked because they placed the too much hot chicken on it and then put the cover on to go. That's so not a salad. I love salad. The two large cheese pizzas for $11.99 and a large sweet pizza for $6.99 are both really good deals that they have everyday. The regular pizza is good for the price. The sweet pizza is unique and pretty damn good IMO. You just have to try it and find out for yourself. The kids working here all seem really ditzy and act like dumba**es behind the counter. This is the fourth time I've ordered from Anthony's, and I cannot believe how poor the service still is. Twice I have ordered a buffalo chicken calzone for pick up, and twice for delivery. The disaster of a restaurant started with a delivery order, it took about 75-80 minutes to get here, and after I pay and the delivery guy leave, I realize I've just paid for an empty box full of blue cheese containers. Ridiculous, so I call and complain, the EXTREMELY rude lady that answered basically called me a liar for 10 minutes before they sent me a cold calzone that arrived about an hour later. The second delivery issue was basically the same, but instead of nothing, they sent me a chicken parm sub. Ridiculous. The pick-up process is no better. Once again, I go in and my buffalo chicken calzone magically turns into a chicken parm sub, not even a calzone. The second time I went in they claimed I didn't order anything, then they were kind enough to charge me twice, something I didn't notice until I checked my bank statement a few days later, naturally they refused a refund.
