At first you come for the pizza then you realize that this place provides hours of entertainment plus a good meal which keeps you coming back for more. At each table there is an old school game system (Sega, Nintendo, Atari, etc) with a monitor for gaming pleasure while you take down your favorite pizza. Very cool hangout spot to eat pizza and play some classic games. I very much enjoyed my margarita pizza aka Mario's House party. I was able to take leftovers home and was still delicious the next day. The server was super nice and kind of cool to see the guy making pizzas in the back. Also loved the guava drink, yum! There are some tables that have a game console to play while you wait, little tight though.. there was also a row of computers with games, and more seating in the back. We placed a take out order and ended up having to wait more than 30 minutes longer than we should have because they had not even started making our food when we got there at pickup time (they were not busy). They also had not updated us and kept just telling us to wait. Then the food was terrible. The sauce for the pasta didn't have flavor and was just like sauce from the bottle- and not nearly enough on the noodles. The garlic bread knots barely had any garlic at all and was hard. When we arrived it was explained to us that seating was a little limited because of previous reservations. We took the picnic table in the middle of the restaurant. The menu showed that the pizza here is reasonably priced and we were able to order a half and half. We ordered a half pepperoni and half a deluxe called the pandemic. The pizza was delicious, I love pizza from non franchises and this undid not disappoint. The pizza resembled New York style thin and crispy. Even the tip of each slice had a little crispiness to it. The sauce was not overwhelming and both sides of the half and half were devoured in short time. I now know where I can get good pizza in Hilo. read more

The exterior of this business is very unassuming. I've passed Antics Pizza many times over the past four years and have always thought I should give it a try. I finally had the opportunity to do so recently. Walking through the front door brought me to a room filled with video monitors and seats. All for gaming. There were 2 seat booths against the wall and a big wood picnic table in the center of the room. I looked around and discovered a second room. Lots more seating and a great room for a pizza party. Since I was at lunch from work I decided to order a slice of pizza from a very nice person behind the counter. I ordered a pepperoni slice and a bottled water. Sat down at a booth. The pizza was brought to me after it was piping hot from being put in the pizza oven. It was a nice sized slice with lots of pepperoni pieces on it. The red sauce was delicious. Seemed slightly sweet which I loved. I reviewed the menu and noticed quite a few delicious pizza options. I'm going to bring some friends here at some point to try different pizza's. I do wish they sold a sausage pizza by the slice and/or a nice Italian roast beef or meatball sandwich. I'm sure they would be delicious. The Good: Pizza was delicious. Service was friendly and the place was clean. The Bad: Parking can be challenging. Only street parking. Chances I'll be Back: YES! In fact i've been back twice. Maybe we just came on a bad day, but when a group of 8 customers who intend to give your business money come in, perhaps don't ignore them?? Aside from some little kiddos playing Fortnite and Minecraft, we were the only people there and the server could barely even be bothered to bring water... after waiting to order for a very long time, we just left and spent nearly $500 elsewhere. Let me preface this by saying that the ambiance of this place was amazing and the vibes were there from the start. With that being said, I unfortunately just had one of, if not the worst dining experiences of my life. For starters, we sat at our table for 15 minutes and had to go up to the counter for them to even acknowledge that we were there (we were one of 2 tables there). Even then, we were never served any waters, and a waiter NEVER showed up to our table. I wish I could say I was rating this place on the lack of service but unfortunately the food is the reason for this 1 star review. The pizza was burnt to hell / flavorless, our salad had 2 pieces of store bought chicken on it and tasted like it was made at chucky cheese, and we had to go up to the counter twice and ask for dressing for our salad because it was never served with any. I was so excited to try this place out from all the positive reviews, but unfortunately I don't think I've ever been so disappointed as a foody. I've never ever left a bad review on any restaurant I've been too but it feels warranted after this place almost making a 23 year old man cry lol. read more

We drove by this place one day and made sure to stop by and check it out. This is a small, but amazing pizza place. The staff was super friendly and patient. Having the games to play while waiting for our food was awesome. The menu states that there are "NO" substitutions on specialty pizzas so we went with the gluten free BBQ chicken (Ruby Red's Round House) and we had the Fortnite (build your own pizza). If you want to add or take sometime out of what is listed on a "specialty pizza", the simplest solution is to order the Fortnite to your specifications; problem solved! Now, they don't have fountain drinks; everything is bottled. That didn't bother us, but if you are expecting free bottomless refills on fountain drinks you just simply are not going to get it here. The pizza was simply amazing! Is hard to find any restaurant that has gluten free pizza options and even harder to find one that has amazing options such as this one. I simply have not had such a tasty gluten free pizza in a very long time! Now, yes there is a risk of cross contamination in a pizza restaurant but I did not have any side effects that would have suggested that it was cross contaminated. I would have known within the first 5 minutes. Thankfully this risk was totally worth it and it worked out in my favor Overall, if we are ever back in Hilo this will definitely be a spot to hit up again. read more

As someone whose tried New Haven pizza this is on the level if not better! Justin the owner is so welcoming and knowledgeable he told us that everything is made to order. I've been wanting to try Antics for a really long time now, and I finally got to try it! I think they're a pizza shop/video game arcade, and I also saw they have a ramen shop. We called in our order about 20 minutes before pick up, and I got dropped off along Kinoole St. I'm not sure if they have a designated parking lot, and there wasn't much street parking around lunch time. I ordered the pestopalian pizza. It was a thin crust pizza with pesto sauce, artichokes, cherry tomatoes, cheese, and spinach. Pizza well done! Next time, I'll need to try their garlic bread. Antics Pizza was a real crowd pleaser! We had a group of 7 that included a teenager and two vegans--everyone left full and happy. We arrived hungry and tired after a long day of back to back excursions that caused us to skip lunch. The staff was so helpful in accommodating our group and getting us seated right away. The teenager was well-occupied by the video games while waiting for the food to arrive. Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered garlic knots to start. The staff was also able to make a vegan order of garlic knots with olive oil instead of butter. I was super impressed and delighted with this accommodation.
