Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. Excellent flavors, service and music!

My friend and I had reservations for two at 6:30 for which we were seated right away. The decor is lovely and the crowd is lively. We unfortunately were seated in the bar area having a very small table not sufficient for dinner service. The bar was packed with people as they repeatedly bumped into our chair and table - at one point a lady's rear end was almost on our table - see picture. The tables are placed too close together as the waiters tried their best to squeeze in. With that said the waiters were amazing - we were greeted promptly, drink and food delivered quickly and fresh and delicious. The food and service were done so well we would return and try for lunch.

Second time here. I had the burger the first time and it was awesome. And was great again this time. Everything else is honestly a bit underwhelming. The bar area is gorgeous. Drinks were ok. Service ok. Would still be back for the burger. But the food can use a little more flare.

I have eaten at Antique Garage in Rye twice now. Food is excellent, as is the service and ambience. I look forward to returning.

Love the food! Love the service!…read more Ron our waiter was so friendly and accommodating!! The restaurant looks like a beautiful house with an outdoor porch where you have the option to dine on if you'd like. The inside you have a beautiful bar area to the left and a dining area to the right with a fire place giving a comfy upscale feel. The prices are a little on the pricier side so something to note. I recommend the shrimp tacos and Parmesan fries! You have the option to host events there too as I was witness to a couple during my time there. The only con is the parking situation. I've only ever been during the day for lunch and there are never any parking spots. I always spend a good 10-15 minutes circling around for one to open up. They do have a small dedicated lot nearby, but very limited spots and tight area. Plan accordingly.

Service was not exactly adequate…read more Lighting was dim as well. Seats were hard as heck wood and mighty uncomfortable The food was--overall, mehhh First the potato skins were minuscule, Lilliputian and almost not even big enough to be considered bite sized The Caesar salad was...hmmmm, Ho-hum with fresh and crisp greens, ample if not generous Parmesan and tasty albeit stingy portion chicken. I tried the steak tacos and this was a fumble. Bland steak, miserly portions and soggy soft shell. The raviolis were a tad undercooked but really tasty. The sauce had a hair too much red wine but the taste as still very good and the portion rather admirable. I'd order it again. The Apple blossom desert was amazing. Dough was slightly and pleasantly sweet and the apple was caramelized and tender. So.... Food was a solid 3-4 The service a gentleman's C in or 3 The comfort and ambiance a 2

I attended the July 4th event at Barley Beach House, and unfortunately, it was not worth the nearly…read more$150 per ticket we paid. I'll start with the positives: the staff was friendly and professional, the crowd was great, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. Those were easily the best parts of the evening. However, the food was extremely disappointing. It lacked flavor, seasoning, and creativity. The drink selection was also underwhelming. They had already run out of certain beers, and the cookie dessert that was advertised was never available. One thing that was misleading is that the event wasn't actually held at the Barley Beach House restaurant. It took place on the beach, away from the restaurant itself. Although it was advertised as a 21+ event, attendees weren't even allowed to walk into the water to wet their feet. I understand safety concerns and the lack of lifeguards, but for an adults-only event, I expected a little more flexibility. The beach restroom conditions were also unacceptable. They were dirty and had no toilet paper, which should never happen at an event charging premium ticket prices. To make matters worse, a severe thunderstorm rolled in, and the fireworks were completely canceled. While I understand that weather is beyond anyone's control, there was nothing else about the event that justified the cost. Overall, while I appreciated the friendly staff and fun crowd, the food, drinks, amenities, and overall value fell far below expectations. I would not recommend this event, and I would not return.

He was genuinely gracious, attentive, and highly knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended several dishes that we absolutely loved. The Food Everything we ordered was excellent, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. If you go, I strongly recommend ordering the grilled red snapper. It was easily the highlight of our meal. Karaoke was in full swing and the hosts are very talented. We made reservations but it was not packed this particular Thursday evening. It was very hot so we stayed indoors but I would have liked very much to sit outside. They have a nice location. Everyone was veyr nice, from hostess to bussers; our server was very attentive. We started off with some drinks, and their jerk spring rolls and codfish fritters. Everything was really good. Hubby had their lomo saltado. He said it was OK but the rice was dry and it wasn't served as it should be, with the sauté on top of the French fries. I had the ribeye with mac & cheese and cabbage slaw. The steak temp was perfect, as was the mac. The slaw was bland - I wish I ordered a different side. My kiddo had their chicken fingers w/French fries, and liked it. My MIL had their pollo a la brasa, and enjoyed it as well. We surprised hubby with a happy birthday red velvet slice and headed out. Service was great and it was a vibe with the live music. After our meal, we walked around Hudson Park nearby and enjoyed a very chill day. I would definitely come back.
