Great vibes when you walk in, and the staff is friendly and warm. I ordered a short iced latte and waited for the drink to be made. Lotsa folks around getting their day started, or doing some work for the day. The energy was perfect, and my coffee arrived promptly. I gave it a sip and went on my way. The coffee was not bad, but pretty much unremarkable in that regard. I enjoyed it as a sipping coffee, but it was a little too dark on the roast for me. Not their fault, as they're a multiroaster. Overall, I think it's a great place to grab a coffee, and especially if you like flavored drinks! Perhaps a mocha or a vanilla latte would slap! Both were fantastic. I drink decaf coffee and it was very fresh and tasty. Service was great both times I stopped in. Seated quickly. Friendly staff. Just all around great service. I stayed at the Renaissance Hotel and First Watch is an enjoyable 8 minute walk from the hotel. I absolutely love this restaurant. I downloaded the app and see they have locations throughout the greater Phoenix area. We live a few hours away but anytime in this area I will make sure to eat here.
