First of all, When any one recommends an item and it's actually bomb.. they are winning ok! They've tried their own items and care about the product and customer. So yes, Service was great! A little raspados place in Avondale checks the boxes for Mexican treats. Nothing fancy but you can eat indoors or outside! We ate outside and enjoyed the weather. The only thing I didn't care for was the elotes in a cup. It was like the corn wasn't cooked all the way and soupy. No bueno! We ordered a watermelon agua Fresca, two Sonoran hotdogs, elotes, and two horchatas. Everything was delicious except the elotes. The horchata wasn't powdery either. I'd drive there from surprise to get me a watermelon Fresca any day! Priced well and a lot to choose from! Check it out! My hubby gave them a five for his hotdogs!! read more

Had a great time here with my family. We had ceviche as well as a raspadonieve , and a corn cup. The food was delicious and the raspadonieve was the perfect amount of sweet. The staff is friendly and helpful to what you need and the location is very quaint with decent seating to either eat or wait for food to go. Stopped in here for a quick bite while in the area. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly cashier who took my order and made me feel at home with some small chit chat. The food was delicious, I had the ham sandwich; this masterpiece came loaded with many of my favorite ingredients: ham, cheddar, american, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and just the right amount of pickled jalapeños. On the side I was served a ketchup bottle filled with a house chipotle dressing which took each bite to another level. My melon agua fresca was made to order and was not loaded with sugar like others i've had. Food was great and their friendliness was just an added bonus! Surprisingly good! Read some reviews and decided to give it a shot. We got a Sonoran hot dog with everything but jalapenos! Very tasty. We got the Cubanito with pork and ham again no jalapenos. Lol. In Arizona for travel. We came around 7pm, parking was easy. Pretty busy on a Thursday night for a dessert shop - constant customers going in and out. The mango shaved ice was more crushed ice than shaved ice but the flavor was really good! The chicken torta was freshly made but I've had better tortas in Texas. The nachos were pretty standard, lots of nacho cheese and pork though! The pork and chicken honestly tasted the same - can't tell. The ladies behind the counter were all extremely friendly. Been going to this spot for about two years and it's still delicious.. the service is fast and excellent from all of them. Even with COVID they seem to be on it while working with the changes. A bit pricy but for once a month not bad at all. The food/snacks are definitely tasty, my favorite is the raspa nieve with pecan ice cream and lechera. Try it! Nice Change This was my first visit to Picossitos. My nephew and I shared the raspberry nieve with pecan ice cream and lechera, strawberry fresas con crema, and hot Cheetos with nacho cheese. This place was very good, it was busy the whole time we were there. The Sonoran style hotdogs were delicious and we also had the pork and chicken Tortas which also were very good. The tuna surprising was very tasty, everything we tried was actually really good. The had Mexican coke products and they accept all major credit cards. I started going here when they first opened with a small humble staff it was a quick in and out. Today they are fully staff and busy having to wait for my orders but its worth it!!! The whole staff is friendly!! Its definitely busier now with an updated menu. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.

My wife had rolled taco's with fresh guac. Everything was really fresh. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. Yeah, I'd eat at Mariachi's again. They seem mostly about convenience and not really a full-service restaurant. But that they do that well and a definite consideration if convenient.

There weren't many other customers when we were there either. The ube ice cream ended up being 1 very small, stingy scoop, and my family was super disappointed when the halo halo arrived. It wasn't sweet at all and lacked many typical halo halo ingredients (the menu hadn't listed the ingredients so we assumed it would be there). When we asked for something to sweeten it like condensed milk, they said they didn't have it and only had syrup, which I found strange. We also had an uncomfortable interaction with the server too. In the end we brought the halo halo back home and added some of our own leche flan, buko pandan, and evaporated milk. It was disappointing we had to pay what we did for the taste we got. Maybe their other dishes are good, and I do think it's neat that they have a little setup for their occasional karaoke nights, but our experience with our orders and service were 2 stars
