The world is insane down right now, I'm in management in the hospitality world and I'm currently in day 9 of working straight as so much of our staff is quarantined due to covid, or has covid, and we're already woefully understaffed. I have a 16 month old baby, and I'm completely fried, and sometimes I just need food to appear so I can function. Although I know antonellas is experiencing similar staffing and workload issues, and their phone message clearly says that if you're ordering delivery you should do so online, when I struggled with my online order today they immediately, and with zero questions or snark, helped me over the phone, while simultaneously apologizing for the inconvenience. You don't need to apologize antonellas., technology sucks and the world is upside down and your perseverance coupled with your patience and kindness got this mama some food tonight without loosing my god damned mind. 5 stars for customer service and local business out their killing themselves for us and their livelihoods right now. We were told the bread would be served soon. We had been waiting for a decent amount of time. Our main course was served and still no bread, not until our son reminded them. When the waitress came back we were told that the assistant manager had burnt the bread twice and yet she still served us burnt garlic knots. I don't believe we deserved this. read more

Food is good, BUT on the pizzeria side of the restaurant there is no garbage can and when people finish eating they pass the garbage over to the guys behind the register and then they put in the garbage behind the counter. This is the same counter they use to serve the food! And they aren't using gloves, I am sure this must be a health violation. read more

We love eating at the one in Wappingers. Fishkill is good too, but there something a little better about the Wappingers Restaurant. The appetizers are delicious, any of the seafood plates are good and we like the sauce here. Not salty, or acidic. The help is always nice and the specials are good. I have never eaten there pizza so I cant speak to that.I only go there with my family for dinner and I have always had a great meal.There waitstaff has always been nice and there is a young man there who is an excellent waiter.The restaurant is kind of weird as it is a big room with tables just plopped into it. Had dinner with my family here and the service was TERRIBLE. We were the only ones in the restaurant and the waiter was very inattentive. Not only that but the food took forever to get to our table. Visited there Saturday 3/31. Food was excellent..had the pumpkin ravioli. Awesome flavor. Also the eggplant Rollatini. Service was exceptional. Cannolis were delicious ...very fresh. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

Great place for Italian food! Informal or formal two separate dining areas. The pizza is delicious. Never dry, delicious sauce and they use good cheese. Crust always nice and crispy. Had amazing Straciatella Al Romano Soup. Delicious light chicken broth with spinach and egg. So good I ordered extra take home. Stuffed mushrooms very good. Dining companion enjoyed chicken in brown sauce with artichoke hearts peppers along with other veggies and pasta. Totally enjoyed and plenty to take home. Both have some dietary restrictions, low-sodium and my friend gluten. They were extremely polite and accommodating to our needs. It's nice when the chef wants to be sure those special needs are met in a positive way and not with a grimace. Taking pride in making it right. I have enjoyed their salmon, carbonara, sauteed spinach as well. I have never been disappointed. And I admit, I crave that pizza at times. The waitstaff are friendly, professional. We have ordered delivery from this Antonella's multiple times and they have consistently provided great food that was piping hot on delivery....How? I have no idea but the food is wonderful.....ordered the chicken portobello dinner....it was delicious! I was so disappointed when I got my food. They delivered to my home. The soup was water and spinach I had to add a chicken bouillon to have it have any taste. The sausage and pepper wedge had four pieces of sausage on each piece of bread and the peppers where not cooked at all. The mozzarella sticks where so hard it's was like they forgot to heat them up. The chicken roll tasted like it was burned. The dipping sauce tasted like raw tomato sauce. They use to be good. They must have changed cooks. I will not order from them again. This is the second time I ordered from them and the food was nasty. I gave them another chance but they failed me again. I will not recommend this place to anyone. They should get people in there that knows how to cook. I gave them one star because yelp wouldn't let me post until I rated but I wouldnt even gave them that. We only revived 3 garlic knots and a order of bread (we did not order) talk to a manager Greg who was rude and not helpful. I will never order or recommend this restaurant. The good: the garlic knots and mozz sticks were pretty yummy. Food was ready when expected. price was reasonable. The bad: i went off my diet to enjoy some pizza/italian takeout. they screwed up our orders despite my attempt to clarify multiple times. The ugly: the food I got that I did not order was pretty disappointing. Also, it was 3 of 4 entrees that were wrong (three of us had ordered the same entree and all got the wrong entree; 2 of us were very disappointed with the error and one settled). will not be returning. read more

We started going to Antonellas about 12 years ago when we moved to the area. They have the best pizza I have ever had. We try and go at least once a week. Sometimes we have dinner in their dining room were we are treated wonderfully. We love to bring our friends here too. This weekend my brother and his wife had their sons christening here. I've eaten here at least 10 times a year for 10 years. Ate here 12/21/13 with 18 others for a 80th birthday party. The server tried but was unsuccessful due to bad kitchen prep. Food was over an hour wait. Some people were finished eating before others got their meals 20 min later. Even first meals were cool or cold. Second meals were under cooked and dry. Food and service seems to get worse with each visit. I was embarrassed for my hosts who spent hundreds on a poor meal. read more

I went to Antonella's Restaurant with my girlfriend before going to a drive-in movie. We sat in the dining area, which is equip with a full bar. Let me start by saying that the Manhattan cocktail was exactly on point. We split an appetizer and a pasta primavera entrée. The pasta primavera was delicious! This used to be my "GO TO" favorite place for any occasion. When planning a surprise birthday party for my youngest daughter, I didn't think twice about ordering from there. Paid the bill in full -- $275.00. Day of the party I send my neighbor up to pick up the food and he is told he cannot release the food because the bill has not been paid. I get a phone call in the midst of people arriving for the party and have to uncover the receipt, take a photo of it and send it to them. I got the food (minus the salad normally given with a take out order), no bread (also normally given). After the party I noticed there was a lot of food left over. I tasted the chicken parm and was shocked! no flavor at all and the chicken was tough and stringy. Sausage and peppers also no taste. The penne vodka was horrendous. No one wanted to take food home, I wasn't going to eat it so it was thrown out. I called Antonella's and spoke to a manager who offered a free dinner. I told him I didn't want it nor would I be coming back there anymore. I was so disappointed both in the quality of the food and the manager's attitude. Will never recommend again! read more

I love Antonella's. Being a health foodie vegan and being Italian makes it hard to eat out, but here they have great vegan whole wheat pasta entrees. I had the whole wheat pasta primavera before, which I would say was my least favorite pasta dish so far but still tastey (the white wine sauce kinda tasted like chicken broth). However, I love the whole wheat pasta with marina sauce or oil. I know that it's pretty basic and can be made at home, but their sauce and pasta is homemade and delicious! If your not the biggest health foodie, my mom got the lobster ravioli and she "almost dies and went to heaven" after eating it. The rest of my family tried a bit of hers and felt the same way. Now when we go it's three orders of lobster ravioli and one order of whole wheat pasta marinara. Also, we've had the same waiter for a couple times now and we find him hilarious. Unfortunately I don't remember his name, but he kept making funny jokes with my sister about how she only ordered mozzarella sticks for her meal and didn't finish them one time. Had Lunch here and it was totally overpriced for pizza slices and the customer sevice was not good, also the cup I was given to drink out of was broken and chipped. But what really made me want to never eat there again was how the people seated next to us were treated. They forgot to make thier pizza and when the man asked where his pie was the guy behind the counter was rude and dident even say sry, and when they finally did get pizza pie it was totally under cooked he had to send it back. read more

It been a While since Yelping out, guess you have to Really Impress me or make me regret walking in the door to get one out of me. I took my grand daughter to the Pizza Parlor side of this Wappingers Restaurant on a snowy Saturday night 3rd of January 2015. There was 1 other party who looked pretty miserable, I was guessing because of the weather. Was I wrong, I came to believe they were miserable because of the miserable Blonde Counter Person / Some kind of Manager. We placed out order at the counter, took our paper cups of soda and sat down. I ordered the Veal Parmigana with Spaghetti 17 and my grand daughter a children Spaghetti & Meatball 8. My meal came with an uninspired salad of some plain greens 1 slice of cucumber and 1 grape tomato. Some day old garlic knots and burnt bread. Both of which were slammed down with audible disdain by Ms Charming from behind the counter. Seeing as we were the only ones in the Restaurant our food came before I had two bites of the lackluster salad. This time it was basically thrown on the table or slammed then pushed in front of us. The whole time we were treated to a dinner theater of sorts as we got to listen to Counter Queen complain about everything in the world while yelling at the help about everything else. The Veal was OK but chewy "put some mussel in that mallet guy's" the spaghetti good but a tiny little side bowl. Did the price of pasta skyrocket, sauce uninspired. Spaghetti & Meatball the backbone of any good Italian Restaurant, just OK. Spare yourselves there are too many more and better Italian Restaurants that may actually want your business.. read more
