Kitten, Angel, something something but damn I am in love. I should've brushed them out prior to this photo but idc because they still look cute. My eyes have this nice slim look, which I've been waiting for someone to do. For some reason every artist does the same open eye doll like thing and super heavy, but not her!!! They look soft, wispy, and spiky. Not just a chunk of thickness. Love love love.

Anh did an amazing job, saving my lashes from the previous butcher job that was done by another…read morelash artist that I saw on a whim during my trip to Hawaii. I was able to book an appointment easily online and sent in a $40 deposit via Venmo to hold my appointment slot. Anh texts you instructions to get to the small private studio (1 bed, 1 client at a time). When you get there, dial 423 to be buzzed in. Thank you so much Anh for taking the extra time to detangle my lashes, work around the super long lengths that were left, and making sure the new fill looked very even and filled the gaps as closely as possible. It's difficult for a lash technician to do foreign fills and some won't do them at all, and Anh did a great job of being gentle with my natural lashes. I asked for my previous artist to put 12mm lashes on, but Anh let me know that she had actually put on 14-15mm, which is why the old extensions were so heavy and long on my natural lashes. I asked for her to do 9-12mm light wispy volume fill ($165 before tip - $115 for light volume fill, plus $25 for foreign fill, plus $25 for wispy, minus $40 from deposit) from inner to outer corner, and the new lashes were so light I couldn't believe how great they looked when I opened my eyes. She had such a gentle hand and is so quiet that I fell asleep, and since I prefer not making conversation that was perfect for me. It's been almost a week, and only a few fans have fallen out (the natural process of lashes falling out) so retention looks to be pretty good. I'm glad to have found a lash artist close by who has a light hand, great work, and is very professional. Looking forward to getting more fills and full sets.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a 1-star review based on my recent experience…read more I booked "The Works" Custom Facial, which is advertised as a 1 hour and 30 minute service for $140 and includes a double cleanse, exfoliation/dermaplaning if needed, extractions, masks, face massage, cold therapy, serums, moisturizers, and SPF. My appointment started at 3:00 PM, but the facial was finished around 3:50 PM. I asked my esthetician, Serena, why the service ended so early because I was expecting the full 90-minute experience. I was told that the service is based on what your skin needs rather than the scheduled time, and that I did not require many extractions. While I understand that every facial should be customized to the client's skin and that I did receive the LED light treatment, I was disappointed that the service ended after about 50 minutes when I had booked and paid for a facial advertised as 1 hour and 30 minutes. I did not receive a mask, and the facial massage felt extremely minimal. In my experience at other spas, when extractions or corrective treatments are not needed, the esthetician typically uses that time for a longer facial massage, additional mask time, scalp massage, hand and arm massage, neck and shoulder massage, or other relaxing treatments so that the appointment still feels complete and the client leaves feeling cared for and pampered. Instead, I left feeling as though I received less because I take good care of my skin. What was most frustrating was paying the full $140 price, plus a 15% tip, while receiving a significantly shortened service. Had I known that the appointment could be reduced by nearly 40 minutes depending on my skin condition, I would have appreciated that being clearly communicated before booking. Advice: If you have acne, congestion, or significant extraction needs, this service may be a good value for you. However, if you maintain your skin regularly and are looking for a relaxing 90-minute facial, self-care experience, or glow-up refresh, I would strongly recommend asking exactly what is included and how long your treatment is likely to last before booking or just go somewhere else. I left feeling disappointed, misled by the advertised appointment length, and feeling that I did not receive the full experience that was represented for the price.
