Technician was late, never got back to me on day 2 at all. Then suddenly wanted to fix my refrigerator at 11:15pm at night. He showed up did a repair managing to fix 1 problem and then created 2 more. I no longer have ice or water dispensing from the unit which worked before his arrival. I also found bolts beneath the refrigerator. I have since left word for them to return and complete the repair and so far no response. It has been 48 hours. Dale is the best!! He works on Saturdays. He cleans up messes when he works. He's very honest about work that is worth or not worth doing. We've had him come several times over the years and he's been amazing every time! He has worked on our dishwasher and washer and dryer all with great success. He also warranties his work. He installed a switch on our washer that failed and he came back to replace it at no extra charge. We will continue to have him come work on our appliances!! He's the best!! My only critique is that he is a little slow to respond to calls. And prefers phone communication vs email or text. But you are willing to pick up the phone and call him, he's totally worth hiring!! I, too, decided to give Anytime Appliance a try based on Yelp reviews. Over a year ago, my Kenmore dishwasher quit working suddenly. The problem was diagnosed and fixed (needed new wiring). It's been operating fine ever since. Last month, my GE laundry machine stopped agitating and spinning. The problem was diagnosed and fixed (needed new shocks). It's acting like its old self again. I give this repair service high marks for the accurate identification of the root cause of problems with appliances, and then being able to fix them. I did just that and they have done nothing for me. I made the mistake of paying for the repair hardware up front and now I out the $300. I have been texting and calling the repair guy and this guy acks like he doesn't know who I am. Don't go with these guys, I gave every chance to make this right. Dale, the owner of this one man shop came to fix my three year old dryer that went spinning out of control on me. Figures it happens just as the warranty expires. Dale took his time, and informed me it was a malfunction with the control board. Everything is so high tech these days. He said he'd have to order the new control board, which should take about a week. I was dreading what that would cost, but it was under $200. His service charge is very reasonable, probably because he has no overhead and is a really nice, hardworking guy. I looked to find an appliance repair company that was honest and reliable, that needle in a haystack, who did not pull the gimmicks that many out their do...the first hour is .... if you use us we apply it to the labor, if you don't you lose it, the minimum once we're there is ... and that does not include part...etc etc. I then came upon Anytime Appliance Service. I read his reviews and it was plain as day that his customers LOVE HIM! I called and asked him what to expect regarding his fees and his response made me feel as if I was warped back in time to a period where honesty and integrity mattered. Dale is everything and more than the 5 star reviews his customers showered him with. There are not enough superlatives to describe Dale. What I love and appreciated most about him is I explained my situation...I'm moving. I needed to decide if it was cheaper to repair or replace my cooktop. While I believe everyone should be honest, at times, I appreciate brutal honesty. He's personable, takes time to analyze the problem(s), and takes care of business. We called him on two separate occasions for freezer probs, and each time he responded in a timely, professional way. The first time, he saved our precious frozen goodies (like containers of homemade pesto from the summer!) and was able to fix the freezer's lack of cooperation the day he came. The second time, when the freezer was working so hard it sounded like it would explode, he tamed it (the fan, the defroster) so it hummed until he could order and return with the needed part. I had their service twice. One was for refrigerator and the other time was for dryer. Both times, they fixed the appliances well and around $150 or $200 for the service. Very reasonable considering they get the job done. Only issue is that it took long to book or get hold of him. Maybe he was too busy so if you are in emergency, you might get frustrated. I was looking for someone to work on my LG washer that was not pumping the water out. Finding someone to work on this brand was initially a challenge. He came out the first time, figured out it was the control board that they were no longer making. He was able to locate the board on ebay and came back a week later to put it in. It even came with a 1 year warranty on the board. Then I noticed water leaking from under the washer about 5 weeks later. He came back and found that the drain pump was leaking and he had the part. Because he had dealt with the pump last time he worked on the washer he only charged us for the part. He is very honest and very reasonable with his charges. I would highly recommend him! read more

Thanks to all the great reviews, My washer started to leak so I called Dale and left a message. He responded the same night, came here a few days later. He said the part that needs replacement is cheap but it is inside and might cost an hour of labor. He didn't had the part so he ordered and came back today to replace it. Very honest and calm person, did an amazing job, cleaned the gue which was deposited below the washer to protect wiring, tested it and our washer is back. Very reasonable and honest labor charge, much much better and reasonable than GE's service, while he was here I showed him some weird sound coming out of my GE refrigerator, he carried that part in his car and replaced it in 15mins. I had high hopes after all of the positive reviews on Yelp but this was a disappointment. I placed a call about a plastic burning smell from within the over door when using my oven. Dale came over, did a cursory inspection of the oven and cleaned up under it. Confirmed he smelled the smell, said he didn't know what it was, and then charged us $50 for the home visit and left. I am very surprised to see so many good reviews. For me this has been a miserable experience. I scheduled the service after explaining the issue we had witht the washer over the phone. Dale arrived on time, inspected the washer and said it is fine. He said he will apply lubricant to it...Honestly, while I am not a washer specialist I doubted that the lubricant will do anything for the problem we had. He wasn't able to tell me what the issue was and had no solution other than applying lubricant!! What is more frustraiting is that he did charge us $85 for this and left some of the screws on the side of the front panel of the washer undone. Both my husband and I are in customer service and would never charge someone if we didn't do the job... We will be purchasing a new washer as upon contacting a different technician we were told this is a costly repair and it is more economican to purchase a new washer. I will not be using him for any other repairs...this was waiste of our time and money. read more
