I felt a little uneasy after seeing all of the one star reviews, but since it took almost two weeks to find a provider, my hands were sort of tied. Chris, the owner, is a little difficult to get a hold of and isn't great at returning phone calls, so I understand where people are coming from in that aspect. Although, when I did speak to him, he was polite and attentive. The technician (didn't get his name) that came out for the repair was also polite, professional, and neat. All in all, it took SIS just under two weeks to diagnose and repair my washing machine in two visits during the holiday season, and during a supply chain shortage. The owner, Chris, was unprofessional and very disrespectful during the call to confirm the appointment. I would have appreciated a much higher level of customer service. His tone was abrupt and rude, and he even threatened to cancel the appointment if the parts that the warranty company ordered had not arrived beforehand. This company was recommended to me via LG Service (that is a service not worth much). First, the person who initially called with whom I spoke, was told that since the problem started, I had installed a new vent hose. That was within the last 60 days. He said good. Then he said that it's a heater problem & would order the part and that when it came in, he would call to schedule the service call. Then tech shows up without the part (I thought uh oh) & clearly my telling the guy on the phone that I had installed a new vent hose, was not transmitted to the tech, because he came with absolutely no information on the problem I was having with the dryer. He asked me to explain it to him. Unbelievable!! The tech was out in 10 minutes, refusing to believe that the vent lines were clear and told me that he could offer no solutions beyond me hiring a vent cleaning company! I was absolutely flabbergasted. So no, I would not recommend your company to anyone. Most unprofessional. The tech who came in a dilapidated little car, advised me to hire a vent cleaning company, rather than just to either shorten the vent hose or replace it. He didn't even inspect the vent system until I forced him to & disproved his theory that the vent system was not clogged. His diagnosis was completely incorrect! I asked him if a long vent hose could be creating the issue. He replied that it couldn't. My shortening the vent hose myself solved the problem. SIS VA was dispatched to my home through Best Buy's Geek Squad, as we have an extended warranty on our refrigerator. The issue was with the ice maker, which has been problematic and required attention. The technician was scheduled to arrive between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM. However, at approximately 12:45 PM, I received a call stating, "I'm your technician, and I'm at your front door." I was supposed to receive a call prior to his arrival so I could be prepared. When I mentioned this, he simply said, "I was running late." If that was the case, why not use the phone that's clearly in your pocket to notify me? When I opened the door, I was surprised to see someone without any visible identification--no uniform, no tools in hand, and no marked vehicle. Naturally, I questioned who he was. Eventually, I let him in and led him to the kitchen. Without introducing himself or taking any sanitary precautions, he immediately opened the refrigerator and began handling the ice maker. He did not wear gloves or wash his hands before touching the area near our food. This was unsanitary and frankly, unacceptable. His quick diagnosis was that the ice maker needed to be replaced, meaning we now have to wait several more weeks for a resolution. If we weren't covered under an extended warranty, I would absolutely not call this company again. read more

SIS VA was connected to me through LG to diagnose and repair an issue with my brand-new LG French Door refrigerator. They were responsive and polite on the phone when setting up the appointment. The technician who came to my house, Joel, was polite, professional and knowledgeable. Not only was he able to resolve the issue but investigated a different problem with the refrigerator. He tuned the drawer gear but told me to call LG and log the drawer issue in case there were future problems with that bottom drawer. I'm very happy with the service. read more

This business is a FRAUD!!! Their tech was sent to me by LG. An LG tech had already examined a faulty dryer, ordered a new switch board, however, he did come to replace it because allegedly he quit LG within week after the visit. It took two weeks to get an appointment from a third party which was SIS VA. Their tech was supposed to replace the board. He did not even open the box with the part from LG that was sitting by the laundry room. He was rude like hell. He said that the LG tech was incompetent. He blamed the dryer issue on the air duct. Well, my air ducts were cleaned twice within last 6 months to meet LG requirements for a warranty repair. When I told the tech to check the records, he started lecturing me on fire safety. He showed me a list of addresses where a fire occurred. I was shocked. That tech was a scam artist! I bet he had no clue how to replace the board and started making drama to divert attention. When I called the company owner he said that he would wait for an official report. I bet that the company owner is a crook as well if he hires such incompetent useless scam artists like this tech. No surprise here and just like every reviewer here. My LG refrigerator broke and called LG customer service. They assigned this company and the so called tech came to our house today. He is very unprofessional. First, he tried to pull the refrigerator out by using the door handle!? Are you kidding me?! He starts giving us attitude saying that it won't break. He "diagnosed" and said the compressor and fan broke. Their company will send a "technician" over for repair then he left. WTF? What is his role then? What a garbage company this is. They are definitely crooks trying to milk off the contracts from major manufactures. I think everyone should report them to the customer service. The attitude from the SIS VA schedule coordinator let me know something was going to be wrong. She informed me that the technician doesn't come to VA after 11AM. How a business can stay in business with that type of policy is strange to me. I read the other 170+ reviews, everyone seems to have an unpleasant experience with these guys. I asked BestBuy to change the repair company, and they are sending me somewhere else. Just like everyone else. TERRIBLE company. RUN Lowe's contracted them to come out to repair my fridge that wasn't making ice and the freezer was intermittently thawing food. Erin comes, no tools, no bag, nothing. "Yup, Ice maker is bad, need to order a new one" and leaves. I had done my due diligence and looked up my model number and common reasons that the freezer and ice maker don't work to find that it's a design flaw and that the wire harness under the door breaks. As Erin was walking outside to leave I said, "the wire harness is broken, can you please re check?" "You'll need to call and reschedule, I'm already late for my next appointment" (mind you she had been at the house all of 15 minutes) I call customer service and am told that they will recheck everything once the ice maker is installed. I said, what about the broken wire harness?! I was told that the technician didn't make a note of that and it would be a separate service call to address. After going back and forth with the customer service rep, he finally told me that he was hanging up and canceling my service call. I made another appointment with another company, hopefully they aren't incompetent as well. Avoid SIS!!! read more

I was scheduled to use this service for a Lowes warranty. They change my appointment time immediately and was very rude about it. The person who came to my house did not call first and showed up in street clothes. He was very rude and put his finger up for me to stop talking more than once when I was trying to explain to him what was wrong with the dryer. He also told me he ordered the part and it would be there in 3-5 days even though he never looked at the back of the dryer or took anything apart to examine the problem. When I called back to see if the part came in he said he never ordered the part and he closed the ticket and I would have to make another claim. This was a huge waste of time and he never discussed this with me so if I had not called I would have never known. When I brought this up he seemed mad and said I use somebody else and hung up the phone. Terrible business, terrible service. read more

Unless you have absolutely no other choice - do not use this service. I don't think I have ever left a yelp review - positive or negative. I felt compelled to login and leave this one. They called on Wednesday to confirm a Friday appointment. Happen to be on a work call and couldn't return the call until 30 mins later. The line was busy but I called continuously every day from Wednesday up until Friday and left multiple voicemails including messages that said - "if you were calling for a confirmation, please consider this a confirmation". I burned a lot of time calling their business and leaving messages. I get a call Friday afternoon saying that the earliest they can get to me is a week later and that because I didn't answer they just went on to the next customer. So I asked them if they checked their voicemail and they said they don't always do that. So I asked when should I expect a call next week - is there anyway for them to just show up, I'll be home. I don't want to risk missing a call a couple days before the appointment, even by a few minutes, and risk them not answering for another couple days, only to call me back and tell me "your fault for not answering". Conversation devolved at this point and they said "their technicians don't have the time to sit around and wait for 15 minutes for a call back". I lost it at that point and just ended the call. Any more and it would just frustrate me unnecessarily, especially when I'm trying to glide into the weekend with my family on a good note. read more

TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE COMPANY. Do NOT let Samsung assign you to this "service" company. You have been warned!! My brand new Samsung dishwasher was installed on 1 Oct 2021. It died on 4 Dec 2021. Today is 4 Feb 2022. The dishwasher has been broken for two full months. It worked for 2 months and 3 days. The first repair company, Home Service Network, Inc, visited on 16 and 30 Dec 2021, replacing the motherboard (30 Dec) and other parts (both dates). The technician left on 30 Dec, stating he did not know why it wasn't working, and could not fix it. I never heard from Home Service Network, Inc again (separate review for that). The second repair company Samsung assigned me, Sis Va Inc, has so far set up four appointments with me: 12, 20, 27 Jan, and 3 Feb. TWICE (20 Jan, 3 Feb) the technician failed to show up. The dispatcher, Chris, NEVER answers his phone, rarely returns my calls, and has never returned an email. Neither Chris nor clients can call the technician, because he doesn't answer his phone, and his "mail box is full". This technician also replaced the motherboard (27 Jan) and other parts (both dates he showed up). On Wednesday, 2 Feb, the dispatcher called to say the technician would be there on 4 Feb. He never called or showed up, and the dispatcher is again not responding to my calls. Now I'm on chat with Samsung, begging - again - for a Return Authorization number for this LEMON. read more

Sent out to fix a Samsung Dryer that wasn't working properly (shutting off and not drying) Tech would rather argue then listen, telling us the dryer was working fine rather than running any diagnostics or listening to the issue. I would give ZERO stars if I could. The company SIS VA was authorized by LG to check the issue with my dryer not working. The technician came in a nondescript old sedan, did not have a name tag or identified himself. He opened the dryer, said the motor has to be replaced, talked to LG, gave me a case # and said his job is done. I should contact LG for next steps. I called LG and was told that the technician informed LG that he fixed the dryer and the case was closed!!! I came here to review this business and I'm not at all surprised by the experiences that have been recorded here. LG connected me with SIS to have my dishwasher repaired. From the first point of contact until the last, a young lady working at their customer service desk has been extremely rude and unwilling to do even the most basic task to help me understand what's going on with the repair process. I've had to call 4 times now and every time she has addressed me like I was bothering her. During the last call, I could actually hear her disparaging me to someone else. It seems like most people are paired with SIS as oppose to seeking them out. That being said, if you have any agency in the matter, I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere. read more
