For parking, you have to pay the meter. My friends and I ordered a spicy galbi soup and a spicy pork bone potato hot stew for lunch. The service was great and they give you a few side dishes.

I ordered katsudon and there was just pork tonkatsu with egg on top, not what katsudon! And definitely not what was pictured. All other food was mediocre. All 4 of us agreed that it wasn't that great. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

I came here with the family for a birthday dinner celebration. We were sat at a table for six in a room that was closed off from the rest and had a coat hanger. It started with a nice touch but didn't continue that way. I asked for a cup of tea. I was told I will be charged $3 and said that was fine. The tea came. It was luke-warm dirty water (no sign of tea) in a chipped cup. Not a great start. I complained and got the same thing with a tea bag inside. Next we asked for water bottles. Don't bother to ask for that. They don't have them. They may have a can of seltzer but no bottles. They swore that they filter the water though. Next we moved to food. My daughter is very picky and vegetarian. When coming in, I asked the waiter if they would do a simple cucumber role for her. The waiter said they would. Well, when we ordered other things, we were told that they can't make it. They had a vegetarian role (that had cucumbers and other things she didn't want), but a simple cucumber role for a child was out of the question. Also the music was blasting like in a nightclub. It was very loud. We asked if it can be lowered a bit and eventually it was. Finally, something they agreed to accommodate (after saying 'no' first, of course). We also got steak and sushi. The food itself wasn't bad so I understand why reviews are generally good. They cook the steak for you. I asked for well done for a child and they undercooked it. I also asked to cut it small to avoid choking (again, child...). They cooked some of it rare, and took the cooking utensils away and scissors so I couldn't cook it myself or cut it. They do not give knives on the table. I can keep going on why the experience was bad but will stop here. Service was horrendous and they couldn't get basics - like warm water - right. Not recommended.

Not only was this such a vibey space, but the food we had was so tasty and everything else at surrounding tables looked SO good. I am seriously so excited to come back and get a big pot of whatever delicious dish was at the table next to us. We stopped in here after getting a big lunch elsewhere, but we were in the area and Anytime Kitchen made the list of Yelp's Top 50 Places to Eat in North Jersey in 2025, so we had to stop in! We got a couple hand rolls and a Dubai chocolate martini. The hand roll was delicious. I wish I had room in my stomach for more of them! The Dubai chocolate martini? Just as delicious as it sounds. It was creamy and sweet and loved their version of a sugared rim. I seriously can't wait to return for another meal here.

We were checking out some spots in the area that made Yelp's list of the Top 50 Places to Eat in North Jersey in 2025. After hearing so many great things about Anytime Kitchen I was excited to go! Because we had already eaten at a few other places, the main purpose of my visit was to try the Dubai chocolate martini. The verdict? It was delicious. Smooth, creamy and the pistachio paste and toasted kataifi on the rim was chefs kiss. The vibes are really great here. They've decorated it beautifully and at lunch time on a Thursday it was crowded. I'm sure the eats are equally delicious and I'd be excited to come back and try some during a future visit.

An awe-inspiring ambiance. The warm wood used for the tables and chairs, along with the natural tones throughout the space, gives you a feeling of tranquility and comfort. They specialize in classic home-cooked food, but in an upscale setting. This is a wonderful place to meet up with friends or family, or simply to get away from the hustle and chaos of the world. They offer plenty of options, ranging from simple to extravagant appetizers, stews, and sushi. Here's what we ordered: -Ocean Delight - $27. While it was delicious, I'm not keen on ordering it again. The odd presentation--served in a tin can--was off-putting for me. It's about the size of my palm, and tbh, my hand is about the size of my friend's 14-year-old daughter's. 4/5 stars. -Grilled BBQ Bossam - $39. Excellent. Very uniformly cut and lean. 5/5 stars. -Various Temakis - $21 if you get the Temaki set. My favorites included Dynamite, Bluefin Spicy Tuna, and Eel Avocado. 4/5 stars. For the most part, I found the food to be very good, but for some items, it's overpriced for what you're getting. The service is hit or miss, which is surprising since they seemingly try to give off a bourgeois experience. The banchan selection is limited, and I once had their spicy pork belly bibimbap in a hot stone pot. It is very spicy!! I needed more of their macaroni salad since the mayonnaise helps assuage the heat. The waitress said, "They don't replenish banchan." I guess she felt bad because I was practically in tears as I was choking from the spiciness, and she eventually brought me some. Yet other times, when I was here, the service was excellent. Again, it's the inconsistency of the service that has me perplexed. Overall, if I'm in the area, I would come back for the ambiance and the standout dishes. I just know not to order anything too spicy.

LOVED our night out here! Solid food, solid variety of drinks. The vibe feels like you're in Korea at an upscale pocha/bar. Service is really friendly. We were one of the last customers there and had a great evening. Would definitely return.

Ideal spot for drinks and dishes to accompany - there's a lot of options, ranging from soup/stews, fried chicken and bunsik-food, to sushi and sashimi! Some of the dishes are fairly small, ideal for sharing and trying new things, so keep that in mind.

The atmosphere is modern and chic, which was a lovely backdrop for our special occasion. Note when booking: there is a $5 per-person charge for no-shows when booking through Resy. We started with the soft-shell crab appetizer ($18), which was lightly breaded, deep-fried, and not at all greasy--a perfect portion for two. For our main courses, we had the short rib ($44), which was expertly cooked tableside by our waiter. It was tender, perfectly presented, and cooked exactly to our liking (medium-rare). We also ordered the sashimi dinner ($70), which featured 21 pieces of very fresh, high-quality fish in an adequate portion. The final dish was the corn chicken ($20), which consisted of breaded chicken pieces topped with corn and heavy mozzarella cheese. While it was a popular dish, it felt more like pub food than something for an anniversary dinner. While the food was excellent, the service experience left a sour taste. The restaurant did not offer any special acknowledgment for our anniversary. However, the most disappointing part of the evening came when we politely asked to take our unfinished bottle of wine home. Our waiter, informed us this was "illegal." He brought over the manager, who repeated the same policy, offering to hold the wine for us for 15 days instead. I was surprised, as I've been to many restaurants in New Jersey that are happy to seal an unfinished bottle in a "Wine Doggie Bag" as per state law (see picture). Even after showing them the official NJ government policy on my phone, they simply shrugged it off. I was forced to finish the wine grudgingly. I hope management sees this review and rectifies this policy with their staff to prevent future misunderstandings. Overall 3.5 stars The food was good and the initial service was okay, but the management's lack of understanding of state policy and the overall experience left a negative impression. I would consider returning if they follow the New Jersey rule to allow unfinished wine to be packed to go.

So the premium chirashi with uni & ikura is a photo from a year ago and the premium chirashi with the octopus is from today... The uni and ikura was subbed with octupus and a bigger ebi (shrimp). I miss the old chirashi variation better + the otoro (fatty tuna) this time had a little more strong muscle fiber parts, so it wasn't as soft and tender like before. Service: My food was accidentally delivered to the table next to me... I kept eyeballing the dish bc it looked like mine and everyone else my table got their foods except me so I had a gut feeling it was mine. It wasn't touched so I did take it but ya:( This place is still one of my fav places (bc of how fresh everything is & great portions) and this is the 1st time my overall impression was meh, so I'm still going to be coming a lot... but hoping that the consistency of the visits are steadier!

This was my first time visiting this location, and wow--the food was absolutely amazing! I had been telling my friend how much I wanted to try Korean cuisine, especially since I'm a huge fan of K-dramas, but I wasn't sure where to go. She brought me here, and it did not disappoint. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious--I felt like I was in foodie heaven! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was just as great. Everyone was friendly and attentive. I'm so happy I got to experience a new cuisine I wasn't familiar with, and I'll definitely be coming back with more friends. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience dining here, whether it be food, service, or ambiance. Perfectly grilled pork belly with a tight slight chew with the classic western rosemary. Nice bossam with an array of pairings. More than solid saouvry budae jigae that isn't just sour kimchi juice with a metric s- ton of gochugaru. And to top it off, a beautiful makgeolli that appears only in my dreams to wash everything down. I gotta try the one in Manhattan now. read more

Location and ambiance are good. Food is decent with some tasty dishes, and some dishes disappointing. Service is mediocre at best. Overall, I've been to this restaurant on multiple occasions and the restaurant simply fails to live up to the hype for several reasons. Quality of the ingredients used is definitely not worth what you're asked to pay , service is a hit or miss with some polite servers and others that either need additional training or a new job! And I do not support estaurants that include taxes in their total for auto tip calculations.. Nice that the restaurant has its own bar, but not enough to make me want to come back esp when there are so many better options in the area. read more

If you're looking for a spot to have good food & drinks with friends, then this the perfect place! Dishes we ordered: -Yellowtail Jalapeño $15 -Temaki Handrolls (ponzu salmon, tuna, & crunchy shrimp) $24 -Beef Short Ribs $42 -Army Stew $39 (soooo good) -Tonkatsu w/ Spicy Rice Cakes $27 -Cheese Dakgalbi $35 They have two locations, one in #Ktown in Manhattan and the other in Fort Lee (NJ). I visited the Fort Lee location (short drive from the city), after my hike to fuel up on some delicious KBBQ, handrolls, and other pocha dishes . Fort Lee is known to have superior Korean food and this place isn't an exception (My new fav pocha in NJ). Besides the food being bomb, the interior was also very bougie and reminded me of the fancy modern Asian restaurants in the city. I'm not sure if it's due to the design, but the classic pocha dishes like budaejigae (army stew) & buldalk (spicy chicken cheese) also tasted way more refined & higher quality than other pochas. read more

I was super excited to come after hearing good things about this place but was left disappointed and probably won't be returning. First off, I'd like to echo the sentiments of many other reviews here regarding the service. It was very subpar -- no one is there to really greet you; you're just awkwardly having a staring contest with the bartender hoping that another staff/employee would notice you and seat you. After several minutes, someone finally brought us to our seats (right in front of the bathroom -- my worst nightmare... but to be fair all the other seats were "reserved in advance.") However, after the waiter sat us and took our order, I probably never saw him again until I was leaving and said bye on the way out (because he never came back to our table. Instead, we probably had 4 other employees rotating at different times whenever we needed something. Oh and that was an issue too -- it was difficult to catch the attention of any staff because they seemed too busy running back and forth. There were a few hiccups throughout our dinner -- we didn't get a separate bowl for emptying our clams until much later, we had to ask a waiter after much waiting to get some more water, a different waiter asked if we wanted or needed kimchi towards the END of our meal, there was a constant cold draft coming from somewhere, it just felt like all the staff was busy running around (in Korean: it felt 정신없어). Interior is gorgeous thanks to the previous owners Soma who did a fantastic job. Food was good. But the lack of basic hospitality and service makes me not want to come back. Oh, and if you do plan to go, don't pay the extra $5 for the honeycomb -- it's one of those IG expectations vs reality moments where in reality it was not worth it!! And it leaves residue in your what-could-have-been a clean and delicious makkeolli. read more

My friend recommended this place, and now anytime Kitchen is my go-to place. They have good atmosphere with mordern and simple interiors. We had temaki sets which were very fresh and also had wagyu short rib. Short rib was amazing! It was very tender and melted in mouth. And the soy bean paste stew served with short rib and that was the best soybean stew I've ever had. Also all servers were nice and very responsive. We'd definitely like to visit again and can't wait to try all other foods from anytime kitchen. 10 out of 10, Highly recommend! read more

Disappointing. When ordering the spicy braised chicken jeongol, our server neglected to mention that it would take more than half an hour to prepare but did ask the one non-Asian person at the table if they really ate spicy food.... (and the chicken wasn't really braised at all, since the meat still clung tightly to the numerous bones) Half of the tonkatsu was so thin that the breading was twice as thick as the meat.... Dumplings broke open while being fried, leaving the contents greasy and dried out.... "Cheffy" touches like yuzu in the dipping sauce and pineapple in the dressing for the cabbage salad just didn't work.... It's a no from us. Go down the street a few doors to the much superior Moru. Similar menu, better food, and better service there. read more

I came here late on Friday evening after just moving to Fort Lee. I was extremely hungry and tired from moving and this was one of the few places that was still open. This place is great lunch or dinner. I recommend their sushi or temaki and their meat choices as well. They have a solid list of drinks and if you prefer cocktails, their Jameson Delight is the best! They are usually busy during evening and weekends so if you have a large party reserve in advance. read more

Absolutely loved everything about this place. The food was incredibly tasty and filling! We ordered the Fried Dumplings, Takoyaki, and the Sweet Potato Fries (this was our FAVE!) For entrees we ordered the Bulgogi Sukiyaki (Bulgogi Stew), Tonkatsu, Stir Fried Beef Brisket, and the Braised Beef (our favorite entree!!) The atmosphere and aesthetic of the place is quaint, modern and lots of wooden details. It's very inviting and the staff was also so nice and helpful with the menu and any recommendations. Definitely have to come back here for a late night spot! They also offer sushi, great cocktails and amazing food in general. read more

this place is interesting, not sure what is the right rating to give here. the interior is nice, modern, and clean. the service is very prompt and helpful. however the food was hit or miss. the temakis were ok, 3 for $19, and the flavor was fine but nothing amazing. the sweet potato appetizer is very sweet, thin julienned slices of deep fried korean sweet potato, but then they toss in sugar. i could have done without the sugar, it was too sweet. the tuna tataki was fine. the galbi was pretty good but a smallish portion. the pork belly was fine, but again, nothing amazing. the cocktails were far too sweet and difficult to drink if super sweet cocktails aren't your thing. i probably wouldn't come back here on my own, but if someone else suggested, i wouldn't be opposed. it's fine. read more

A decent new Korean restaurant in Fort Lee. We started with sashimi and also tried the short ribs and pork belly. The flavor and texture of the sashimi were perfect. Our server recommended we try it with a bit of salt, which I hadn't tried before, and TBH, it was actually very good. The quality and taste of the short ribs were also impressive, reminding me of upscale Korean steakhouses in the city, like Cote. My family finished the short ribs quickly, so I had to move on to the pork belly and found it to be even better. It was a well-balanced Samgyeopsal, tender and juicy. I really recommend anyone visiting this place to try the pork belly. The super-friendly staff and the refined atmosphere are a bonus, deserving 5 stars. read more

We wanted to just focus on their sushi as that was what we were craving more and decided to try their Temaki sets and assorted sushi combo b. I think the assorted sushi combo b is worth the price for 14 pieces of nigiri with a roll. My husband and I split the combo and were very happy with it. The temaki set offers three options where you can select a total of 13 different kinds. My husband and I tried most of them and each one was really great. If you want rude service along with the owner hinting that you've taken too long to eat, be my guest and try this place. I'm actually so livid that my wife and her friends thought they were being kicked out, I wanted to speak to the owner while picking her up. While I was picking up my wife, my daughter wanted to use the bathroom and went inside. She was told to provide proof that her mother was a patron or else she couldn't use the bathroom. I get it, bathrooms are for patrons only. But NJ is so full of homeless people that business owners are now enforcing this rule? Great food or not, this is just not how you treat people. And having read some reviews, bad service seems to be a running theme for months. The owner has vowed to speak to his team but I guess bad service is deep rooted enough that it has not been rectified for months. First off, the staff here are insanely friendly - it's like they've set a new standard for hospitality! We tried the pork bone stew, and it was mind-blowing , way better than at specialty restaurants. As a couple who adores this dish, we've decided we don't need to go anywhere else but here for our fix. This place has quickly become our go-to spot, our own little hideaway . We also had the temaki set, beef short ribs, beef pancake, bean paste stew, pork bone stew, fried squid, and kimchi. Every single dish was a hit, no misses at all . We planned on just one bottle of soju, but the food was so good, we ended up having four more! This spot is now our choice for a casual drink, a hearty meal, or whenever we're craving something delicious . The prices are fair, and we're looking forward to making this our regular hangout.
