The star of the show is the sandwich selection, all on a choice of focaccia or seeded roll, with many including stracciatella, a thick, white, creamy, Buratta-like cheese. Almost every item in the store-- from meats to cheeses to drinks to candies and snacks-- is imported from Italy and you can taste the difference. This ain't your daddy's Boar's Head. -- Tutto: Tried on focaccia, with Mortadella, Soppressata, Capicola, Prosciutto, Provolone, Stracciatella Cheese, Tomatoes, Onions, Pickles, Hot Cherry Peppers, and Garden Greens. Very creamy cheese, almost mayoey in texture. It took some adjustment on my first try, but I got used to it quickly. Strong flavors overall. Very enjoyable. -- Matto: Tried (on two different visits) on a grilled seeded roll, this packed Prosciutto, Soppressata, Sharp Provolone, and Hot Cherry Peppers. Bold flavors from the coldcuts, sharp cheese, and perfectly toasted bread, all in the right proportions to enjoy every flavor and texture. This was spectacular and will be a repeat sandwich for many visits to come. Excellent sandwiches. Nice people. Easy ordering via Toast (they don't have a website). Limited hours-- weekday lunches only-- and hard to spot, but in the same parking lot as the convenience store. I'm not an authority on Italian sandwiches but I've had my fair share from the "name" places in and around Boston, and this unknown gem from the outer suburbs ranks right up there with them. Some may argue they charge Boston prices, but for Boston quality without the Boston hassle, well worth it. Solidly in my lunch rotation.

I remembered previously ordering a Chicken Shawarma Plate. That is now in the "Specialties" section of the menu and that's what I ordered expecting to get the same plate of delicious chicken, rice, salad and hummus. I was shocked that this $20 "Specialty" consisted of a dry chicken wrap, french fries, some sort of yogurt dip and AWFUL, salty pickled vegetables. The fries were good but you don't go to a specialty Mediterranean place to get fries with a meal described as a plate. Apparently, you can no longer get a true plate of chicken shawarma with rice here. I do plan to return again some day and try the Kofta Kebab or Mixed Grill Plate from the "Entree" section since these still come with rice but everyone should be avoiding the "Specialties" plates as these are poorly executed and severely overpriced. Regardless of what you are ordering, I would highly recommend calling in your order to confirm exactly what you are going to get with your order since the online menus have no details whatsoever.

I hear the pizza is good but their website uses coinhive.com That is a javascript crypto miner which harvests bitcoin. Everyone's computers that go to the site become a client while they are on the site to harvest bitcoins for Monti's Pizza. Not necessarily a bad thing. But very very shady. And they should request the user to do so not blindly do it without permission. You typical see this type of behavior when on/playing Free to Play games as that is how they make money. But Monti's charges you for their pizza so no need for this in the background hidden from it's users. read more

Monti's is our weekly pizza place. We love it! Something about their crust, cheese, and sauce combo is just so delicious. While generally it is very busy on the weekend, the staff is always super friendly and polite. They are also really good about adjusting for allergies. While their basic cheese and pepperoni offerings are fantastic, their special pizzas are great as well! Worth a visit for sure! read more

Not worth the 45 minute wait at all. At this point, we were very frustrated and had asked if we could get a refund if they hadn't already prepared the 2 sweet mini pizzas. They said they already did and that they'd be out in another 3 minutes. They finally brought out the 2 mini pizzas and then another 3 savory mini pizzas as an apology from the kitchen for the extreme wait. If not for that, I would've left a 1-star review. To be quite frank, if they had told us that the kitchen was running behind and that there was going to be a wait, it would've been less frustrating. However, nothing of that sort was mentioned whatsoever during the ordering process. Also, if they simply forgot to make our order, they should've just said that and been honest instead of blaming it on the party because others that had ordered after us were clearly getting their pizzas before us. I will not be returning and I will not be recommending this to others.
