I ordered the chicken Alfredo for pickup from this Papa Gino's location. The service was great -- my food was ready fast, and the staff was super friendly and efficient. The pasta and chicken were decent -- not amazing, but solid if you're hungry and craving something quick. I did add extra Alfredo sauce, but unfortunately, it's a watery sauce that didn't really do its job. I also really enjoy melted cheese on my Alfredo, but they only had asiago -- which was more like a hard, shredded topping that didn't melt into the dish the way I like. The biggest letdown was the broccoli. It was so hard I didn't even eat it. Overall, not terrible, just okay. I might order it again if I'm really craving chicken Alfredo on the fly, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I lived in MA until my mid-40's, and Papa Gino's was a go-to. This location was a major go-to when I lived across the street in apartments and ate there every time I carried my laundry to the building next store, and ate while drying. LOL Papa Gino's is a solid performer. There are WAY better pizza places (Regina and Santarpio's, to name a few), but Papa Gino's delivers. I had a small pizza, and the price was good, the pie was tasty and hot, and the service was pretty awesome with some nice kids working the counter. I don't get back to MA as often as I'd like anymore, but hitting some of my favs like Papa Gino's, D'Angelos, Harry's, and a few others always takes me home again. With so many changes in our lives, it's nice to have some places change very little. Thanks Papa! read more

My go-to pizza is the macaroni and cheese pizza it's awesome. And the best part of it is when I reheat it the next day in my toaster oven it's even better. I don't eat inside I usually get takeout so I can't comment on service or ambience. read more

The food quality here is absolutely terrible. It didn't used to be like this, which is sad. I've come in to get carry out food and delivery for almost 10 years and I don't know what management needs to do or management possibly needs to change, but it's terrible. Whether we have gotten pizzas, subs, burgers, or chicken, it has been absolutely bottom of the barrel. Not to mention, they have probably some of the worst delivery drivers I've ever seen. If you give them specific directions, they don't follow them and this is something I have talked to management about several times and they don't seem to do anything about it. Also anytime that you're getting a burger for some reason it has a fish taste to it so I don't think they change out their grease that often which is disgusting. If this place is gonna continue to cut corners with the service and food quality, then they should just step down. This is not what we're coming here for or paying for. read more

Papa Gino's... I want to like you, but the prices per slice and based on the other options in town, the only thing you really have going is mediocre slices to go that I don't have to wait long for. The decor and ambiance at this location is pretty bad. It has seen better days, but given it is tucked away in a pretty sub par strip mall, I don't think it will see better. Kids like the pizza, the cheese pizza is acceptable. Everything is fairly quick and very tame. Toppings are lackluster, honestly you are better off sometimes just getting a sub instead. I love papa gino's but there aren't any that deliver to me so I haven't had any in years. We drive by the plaza today and stopped in for a couple slices of cheese pizza. So good! And the employees were so nice. We then ordered a full pizza half cheese and half pepperoni. Amazing! And nostalgic. We'll be driving here for pickup from now on. Pizza and service is great. Must have been near closing. I called in an order and they said 15 minutes. Arrived 15 minutes later and it wasn't in the oven yet. The staff was all over the place, the woman at the counter pushed a wrong button on the register and then swore. She apologized but now that I sitting here waiting for my pizza I can see that it's probably a regular occupancy. Hope the pizza is not as disappointing as the wait. read more

I usually order a fairly large amount of food to be delivered to the team here at work. I've had a few minor issues with the web site, but when I've called the store, they're always super friendly and helpful - and super quick to rectify any issues. (Thanks Heidi!) All of the specialty pizzas are excellent, and the catering menu salads work perfectly for folks who'd prefer something other than pizza. When ordering delivery, food arrives when scheduled, is piping hot, and I've never received the wrong stuff. As soon as the scent of fresh pizza starts to drift through the office, everyone is eager to stop working and make a mad dash for the conference room. Within minutes, an over-crowded conference room goes from noisy chaos to complete silence as everyone feasts on the wonderful Papa Gino's food stuffs. read more

Ordered a buffalo chicken mac and cheese pizza (one of their signature pizzas off the menu) and they send me a pizza without any chicken or buffalo on it, just mac and cheese. WTF? Papa Ginos.. what the hell happened? I thought my experience the other week in a totally seperate location was just a fluke or an off night.. but my goodness. We get Papa Gino's from this location at work from time to time and its never been on time or overly impressive, food typically arriving cold. On the off chance I am craving Papa's pizza I go to the Milk street plaza location for pick up orders.. or at least I had. Each time I'd arrive there was NO ONE in the restaurant and no one to greet me,.. usually kids kinda akwardly standing around looking at their feet until a person with guilt or a shred of work ethic left in them shows up at the counter. Then and only then has the food been warm. Delivery experiences are usually quite delayed at lunch time and peak times like holidays. Today I've eaten my last Papa Ginos in a very long time... if not forever. I've always loved their sauce and classic pepperoni .. HOW do you screw that up? Arrives cold. Dough was consistent but under cooked. And almost immediately upsets the belly. Just blah.. ordering 2 slices of pizza plus a side salad and even with such little food, when finished looks like I barely touched it.. and had to RUN to the bathroom to avoid certain disaster... They said that I had to go there and show the order. Then and only then would they give me the right order. So, no sympathy and they still want to inconvenience me. One of the worst Papa Gino's in existence! The delivery service is awful. There seem to be only two good drivers that will bring you your crappy tasting food hot at least. The inside of the restaurant is an absolute joke as well. Came in there the other day with some friends to get some Pasta and of course what do I find but a big piece of plastic in my meal. My other two friends have gotten pizza and a burger and the burger tasted like it had bits of bone and grit in it while my friends pizza was soggy and disgusting. If you decide to go to Papa Ginos, DON'T go to this one. We order out here from Honda down the street quite often. Not only do we order larger orders on Saturdays for the entire dealership, we also order here for just a few people during the week. We had an issue both today and yesterday with our orders. Today we placed an order for a few subs at 12:37 pm. It's now 2:46 pm and we still haven't received our order. We called to complain and the only thing the manager kept doing is blaming it on the weather and his abundance of orders today. If you can't handle your customer base, then hire more employees. Ordered delivery. Simple order. Pasta and meatballs, mozerella sticks, pizza with bacon and mushrooms. Pasta came without meatballs. Order was 20 min late. Mozerella sticks had no cheese inside and came with no sauce, bacon on pizza was burned and the bread that came with pasta looked like someone took a bite out of it.
