So, we meandered on over to this local eatery & were incredibly pleased by the choice to do so!! The ambience was comfy, relaxed, & immaculately neat & clean! Our server was the incomparable Carla, & she truly made the visit welcoming as well as sharing her awesome personality & chuckles throughout!! Hubby had the Grouper Sandwich "Quick Bite", accompanied by a side of cheesy grits & hush puppy, with the addition of a side of onion ring...complete with accompanying sauces. His sandwich was loaded with generous stack of blackened grouper fillets, cooked to tender, flavorful perfection; the onion rings were lightly breaded & golden brown with just the right combo of crispy outside & tender, sweet onion! I, myself had to go for the classic Shrimp & grits, with no skimping here!! Enough tasty; southern-seasoned, shrimp to allow for a reluctant moment to share my dish with Hubby!... cheese, crumbled bacon added to the deliciousnes! ( I still had leftovers to bring home!!) ... Make sure you don't miss out on the delectable hush puppies, which were so amazingly spot-on with their crunchy, outer yumminess & fluffy, flavorful inner nirvana experience!! The cheese grits were pretty yummy--I wish I tossed my grilled shrimp in them. So the deviled crab, if you've ever had this dish before--theirs is not it. What they truly have here is a homemade crab cake. It's not bad--I ate all mine--however my two gfs could not. They were so disappointed and turned off by the texture/color of the cake. The server noticed they weren't eating theirs and was adamant about bringing them replacement food--they finally agreed to take more fried shrimp which was also very yummy. Crab claws is a new dish for me on this Florida trip--they offer it grilled, fried or blackened and I will say the grilled crab claw was delicious! For the six of us; all ordered the seafood platters (combo of 2) our total was $130 so I'd say that's very reasonable. Definitely worth the stop!!
