Incredible experience with Apex Helicopter Tours! Everything was on time, the views were absolutely beautiful, and the team was very professional. Highly recommend if you want to see the area from a whole new perspective.

Husband n I enjoying our helicopter tour

Everything Staff informative, professional, eager to help, explained in detail what to do, what to expect.. the helicopter ride itself was wonderful

Spent a few days in Sedona and one of our bucket list was to go on a helicopter ride. Originally our tour was scheduled for 6:30 pm. The front desk offered us the option of a sunset tour. We gladly accepted and hung out at the Mesa Grill (restaurant) which was walking distance from Apex's building. The check-in process was really easy and you take a short car ride to the helicopter. Our pilot for the evening was Steve. Steve walked us through the safety process before departing. That said, the sunset tour in Sedona was absolutely beautiful. There was a few days where the weather was a little gloomy. I highly recommend choosing day when the weather is sunny to do your tour. Pilot Steve was super nice and so was the rest of the staff. We will certainly come back. Our only regret was not doing a longer ride. Thank you Apex Air Tours for ending our trip with epic views of Sedona. Until next time!

This tour was the highlight of my trip. I contacted a different company initially but they were not able to accommodate my request BUT he express that I really needed to see Sedona from the air and Apex was recommended. From the time I called to book the flight to the landing I was extremely impressed by the customer service. Skyler was able to get us booked and in the air in no time. If you haven't seen Sedona from the sky, you haven't seen Sedona. 10/10, highly recommended!!

It was amazing and our tour guide was super fun. Will definitely book a loner tour next time. Worth every penny.

We had a amazing experience with both Steve and Telly.. I highly recommend if any one has thought about an helicopter flight to definitely contact them for a great experience.

Absolutely an amazing experience !! You can hike and drive around all day but THIS puts the beauty and grandeur of Sedona into perspective. Steve our pilot was skilled, informative and made the experience feel relaxed and safe. Skyler made the entire process easy and was extremely professional. Nothing short of BREATHTAKING !!!!!! PRICELESS !!!!

My wife treated me to a sunset helicopter ride with this outfit. The reception was exceptional and the ride was fabulous. The pilot made us feel safe as he deftly negotiated among the rock formations. An unforgettable experience and worth every penny.

I can't wait to do this again and my next trip here! The ride from their office to the launchpad was about a 10 minute ride. I think we were in the air for about an hour and a half and then once we landed, they took us to a spot where we could have some champagne and relax, and then they took us back. The whole experience was four hours long. Book them!

Plane through Sedona valley, to the Skywalk at the Grand Canyon, helicopter down to the Colorado river, float on a pontoon and do it all again in reverse. The Hualapai lunch was gross but really, whatever. I wasn't there to eat. The tour guide was retired military and did a great job narrating the tour and keeping things interesting. The ceiling was held together with zip ties, the instrument panel was strictly analog, and the navigation consisted of a $100 Garmin. At the Grand Canyon, we did a helicopter tour (5 minutes), a pontoon boat ride (100 yards), and a "Sky Bridge" walk (they confiscate your phone so they can charge you $60 for pictures). All connected by an inefficient and really slow one-way shuttle bus system. Oh, and 95% Asians, who were all smart enough to take a bus from Vegas. Some Chinese investor funded this oasis, and does all the marketing in China. On the way back, it took 45 minutes to get the plane started, which inspired a lot of confidence in our chances of surviving the flight back. The pilot (great personality) and adventure factor (death defying) give it a two star rating.

Some of the ancient cave dwelling areas are only accessible by a grueling hike, but we saw them all. The 45 minute trip if well worth the time and worth the added expense over the shorter trips. The team couldn't have been more accommodating. On the second try everything was great and they went all out to ensure that we had a great experience. Super customer service and consideration for clients. We will definitely recommend and definitely do this again when we are in the area. I wasn't expecting to see ruins of ancient cliff dwellings, but and was pleased when the pilot pulled along side - that was really cool. The entire experience was safe, well lead and informative. That is good because the light pollution is low and it also means the stargazing is probably far better than probably wherever you came from. So, for the "tour," you drive out to the middle of nowhere--to a school, actually--then you walk with your group and guides to a field where they have chairs, blankets, and a bunch of massive telescopes set up. The blankets help but dress warm. In fact, dress warmer than you think. With the wind, it was very cold out during our experience. Now, for stargazing purposes, it is definitely better if the moon is not full, and it is also better if it is not cloudy, but nature constantly reminds us who is in control. We had an almost full, extremely bright moon, and plenty of clouds. But we still had a great time checking out the various stars and planets and even the moon itself. If you are able to plan your tour, try to do it when the moon is at its darkest. The entire tour, if you want to call it that, lasts about an hour. It is not a thrill a minute experience but it is educational and, for those into astronomy, fascinating. This is definitely not for younger kids but mature teens might enjoy it. Plus, you almost certainly will see at least one falling star.

There were three telescopes set up, and 6 people sharing. It was really cool how the guides could just push a button and the telescopes would adjust to view the particular spot they were describing. The guides seemed really knowledgeable. My advice is to wear warm clothing. It was really cold when we went in late May. Our tour was at 10pm. They do provide chairs and blankets, which was much appreciated. Like other reviewers, my negative would be the cost. It was $150 each for a one hour presentation. It was a neat experience, but not worth that much in my opinion.

They picked us up from our hotel, made several stops including clean bathroom breaks and couple gift shops. Overall, the tour was amazing. Although we only spent 45 minutes at a horseshoe Bend, we were able to take some awesome pictures and walk around. But definitely the highlight was Antelope Canyon. You can only go on a tour here with the Navajo guide and our guide Ray was fantastic. We spent about 1.5 hours at lower Antelope Canyon. He really made the tour fun, informative, and he took the best pictures. The photos do not do it justice. The experience was just unreal. Each term that we took we were in awe. The downside was our tour guide Brandon. Although he was very friendly, he didn't seem that knowledgeable. Maybe he was having an off day but there were a couple times that he stopped mid sentence while telling a fact and even ended a fun fact with blah blah blah to finish up his sentence. At one point, he even started chewing on a candy or something while hooked up to the microphone. This was really annoying. We still had a very great day just a couple things that didn't make it a five star experience. Did you have a lot of options for tours and their office is located centrally in the uptown area.
