Please stay away from this shop at all costs. Although the owner is friendly, he could not properly diagnose the problems while simultaneously charging me in total 5 grand. And the work the shop did has not held, so now I have to spend additional thousands to get a new engine, which is what should have been done in the first place... I had an emergency with a loose front brake. Called in the am. They said they had time around 2:00 to work on it. We dropped it around 11:00. They called around 1:00 and said it was done. They only charged me $50 for the repair because it wasn't major. I can't tell you how pleased I am with their quick repair and their Honest repair and price! So grateful!! Brought my vehicle in for noise to get fixed. They diagnosed it and "fixed" it. I came to pick it up. It still sounded the same. These guys couldn't diagnose it correctly and were stumped at this job. They still charged me though and then sent me away saying they don't want to work on it anymore. Totally un-christian. I felt taken advantage of. And that was all my savings gone... no more funds for my little girl's education fees. I'll never go back and they ignored my calls and the BBB who contacted them. The service definitely could have been better. I will never go there again. We were referred to R&R motors. We took our cars for oil changes and came out with more fees without telling us what the charge would be before performing a service and charging an exorbitant amount for an inspection on an old car(that had never been seen there before) and didn't complete a full inspection and then charged extra to look at a minor concern in the windshield. That should be included in an already expensive inspection that would not apply to service on the car. And we asked to call us before doing any service and they don't tell you the price, so always ask ahead of time. And will just apologize for doing something wrong, but not offering to make it right. So this place may be right for others, but it's untrustworthy to me. And they claim they put on factory parts, but I wouldn't trust that. It's no better than the competition they say not to go to. At least other auto repair shops in the area give you an estimate, a price or call before performing service. read more

Take your import inquiries to R&A Auto. They will test the car prior to your purchase and are truly Honest. GO TO R&A NOT R&R... R&R Past the mall will drag your ordeal out to suck money from you, rather than be honest. R&A put my vehicle on the computer and told me it was not even worth fixing, cost $50.00. That was AFTER i spent nearly 3,000.00 at R&R who said they could fix it, didn't. Just put a band aide on it long enough to collect 3,000.00 from a homeless Mom with Three Kids in a shelter. I went there because they were "Christian" and the christian community touted them to me. Nevertheless. SCAMMED! R&A told me straight up, it wasn't worth fixing and i appreciated that type of business. Just a friendly piece of advice. read more

Our diesel pickup blew a pressure hose while pulling a camper 38 miles south of town. Being the day after the 4th of July a preferred diesel shop was closed. The dealership couldn't get to it for over a week. I took the tow drivers recommended second choice. Boy was I happy I did!! I got an Uh-Oh feeling when we drove into their lot and it was full of vehicles. I thought this is going to take a week or more, but the shop was a beehive of activity. My truck was towed in from the Grand Canyon and arrived late at 4pm. They were very busy and didn't think they could get me done until the next day. However they tested the electronics and the power control module was dead. They ordered a new part, fixed it outside in the rain, and I was back on the road at 6pm. When my 1981 Mercedes diesel broke down near R&R Automotive because of a dirty fuel filter, I was able to locate a parts store several miles away that had the fuel filter. The parts store could not deliver the filter to me personally and it was a long way to walk there and back. So I asked the owner or manager at R&R automotive if he could order the fuel filter for me, which he did (the parts store could deliver to a repair shop). Within 20 minutes, I had the fuel filter and was able to install it myself and get back on the road and drive the 250 miles back to my home. Highly recommended. R&R took about 15 minutes to correctly diagnose the issue I was having, a failing wheel bearing, and made sure to bring me back to show me exactly what they were looking at. They offered a very reasonable quote and, even though it was 3pm the day before Thanksgiving, got the job done. The first bearing they put in turned out to be randomly defective, produced a low rumble when driving, but the mechanics were on top of it and stayed at the shop an hour past closing to make sure a good one was put in that day. I would definitely recommend this shop. We broke down about 20 miles north of Flagstaff and limped into town. We pulled into the first RV park we could find with a vacancy, and right next door was R&R. They looked really busy, but the RV park manager said to go over there and explain that we needed a mechanic and to tell them we were staying next door. So, we went over there and explained our dilemma. Much to my surprise, the owner said...we'll fit you in tomorrow morning. And, he even came over that same night to look under the hood to see if there was any more damage. Well, the next morning we took our truck over and it was repaired by early afternoon. They even pressure washed the underneath portion of the engine compartment where the transmission fluid had sprayed. And all this at a very reasonable cost. Yes....if you need an honest, reasonably priced mechanic, look no further than R&R Automotive, you won't regret it. read more

My daughter is in school in Flagstaff and has an older SUV which had needed work a few times. She took the vehicle there in the past and they were always great, did good work at a reasonable price. 3 weeks ago her window started sliding down, she called on Monday and asked if she could bring it in on Tuesday and was told she could. After calling several times, she was finally able to pick up the vehicle the following Monday. When she picked up the vehicle, the power window buttons were no longer attached to the door. They had broken the Bezel and the button just sat about an inch above the armrest. She pointed it out and the mechanic said it was broken when she brought it in . Dont know if they got new mechanic or ownership or what but for the first time, we were disappointed with the service. Stil not sure why it took a week for a window regulator either. It is a shame when a place you have learned to trust lets you down. read more
