He listened to my long dental history and how scary I am. He assured me that he would do everything he could to make my experience pleasant. The process was pain free! He made sure I was comfortable and even prescribed something for me to help. I also appreciated the next day follow up to make sure I was okay. If I need to have any more root canals and let's hope not-- I would not hesitate to go to dr. Tsai.

It took 2 painful hours and a decent size bag to retreat my root canal for it to fail 6 months later. My tooth became infected with an oral fistula. I decided to pull the tooth to not have to go through that again. I called the office to inform and ask why my root canal became infected and never received a call back. Super unprofessional not to even discuss the matter. Response to owner: I wasn't provided with a follow up appointment after treatment. I paid and the receptionists never informed me to follow up. I also never received a reminder card to folklore up. My dentist also stated your office never followed up. Please provide proof with the reminder card and when I was offered the follow up appointment. I also inquired to discuss with Dr. Nathanial Tsai and never heard back.

Based on the reviews, I was expecting and looking forward to a 5-star experience. Unfortunately,…read morethat was not my experience, and I felt I was given 1-star treatment. The female dental assistant was not welcoming or friendly. When I mentioned that I wanted to skip the CBCT scan due to financial reasons, as the cost can be hundreds of dollars depending on insurance, she continued to push the scan 4-5 times despite my clearly stating that I did not want it. I found this extremely uncomfortable and felt that my decision was not being respected. When it came time for the X-rays, the lead apron was tossed onto me rather than being placed on me with care. I have pectus excavatum, which made this particularly uncomfortable and, in my opinion, was not handled professionally. My experience with Dr. Omid Dianat was also concerning. I was placed in a Trendelenburg position, with my head lower than my feet. I have cystic fibrosis and related sinus issues, which make me particularly prone to dizziness and migraine spikes. I had disclosed my medical history and symptoms in the forms I completed prior to the appointment. Being placed in that position exacerbated my symptoms and left me feeling extremely ill afterward. I understand that certain procedures and positioning may be necessary, but I believe my medical history should have been reviewed and taken into consideration before positioning me this way. At the very least, I would have appreciated being informed beforehand so we could discuss whether there was a more appropriate position for me. Additionally, when the electric pulp tester (EPT) was used on an already extremely sensitive tooth, I would have appreciated even a brief warning that the test could cause significant pain. A simple 10-second explanation would have made the experience much less distressing. Overall, I left feeling genuinely disappointed because I had high expectations after reading so many positive reviews. I was hoping to feel heard, respected, and cared for throughout my appointment, particularly after taking the time to provide detailed information about my medical history and concerns beforehand. Instead, I left feeling that my decisions, comfort, and individual needs were not given the level of consideration I expected. I'm sharing this feedback because I believe these concerns could have been addressed with better communication, more attentiveness, and a little more compassion. I hope the office takes this experience seriously and considers how these interactions can be improved so future patients feel more comfortable, respected, and cared for.

I went into the office this morning very skeptical because of some of the reviews. I was met with…read morethe complete opposite experience here. 1. The $295 fee was told to me during scheduling and I understood the need as the issue couldn't be found with a simple X-ray. Actually, no issue was found with an X-ray. If it weren't for the scan, my issue wouldn't have been found. With the pain I'm in, I am happy to pay to find answers. I know this gets people super mad that they have to pay it but that is an insurance problem. If you want to get to the root of your needs, this is probably very necessary. 2. From the moment I walked in the office until the moment I left, the entire staff was so kind to me. I asked questions, they answered. I even called when I got home because I wanted to clarify some items, they were completely informative and answered everything I needed. 3. I would have been able to get this taken care of the very next day if I needed it. That's always a plus considering the pain I'm in. Overall the process was smooth and painless. This was a consultation only and I do go in for the actual work next week. I will definitely follow up for a second part based on experience. So far, I recommend this place.

I was referred to this place from my dentist as she said I'd probably need to retreat a root canal…read more I was bit concerned about the other less favorable reviews here but in the end I decided to go with this recommendation. I did call my insurance company first to make sure that the consultation would be covered by insurance. They require a CT scan for a consultation. Luckily with my Delta Dental PPO it does cover the office visit. Make sure to check with your insurance company as well as the front desk won't check until day off of your appointment. As part of your consultation they do a CT scan for your teeth which is probably the first time I've ever had that done. In all cases before it had just been an X-ray. So the good thing is that CT scan seems to be a more thorough look at your teeth. Almost like a 3D model. Dr. Alexander went through the scan with me on the tooth in question and also tested the area in question for any pain. In the end, he concluded there was nothing wrong. So good news was that while an X-ray may show my tooth may need root canal retreatment, it was good that the CT-scan along with the exam showed that it didn't. So I appreciated that an unnecessary operation was not done. However, the only bad news for me is I don't know what the feeling I had in the area was related to. However, that is another issue to be monitored and hopefully nothing. Waiting in the wait room wasn't too long. The questionnaire could be answered on an iPAD or via your phone, and at the end, they give you a copy of the CT-Scan. Good to know they didn't do the procedure if it was needed.
