This is nearly criminal, but, unfortunately it is just incompetence. It seemed like they knew what they were doing, until the delivery didn't happen and I checked the label, which had some random address in Long Beach instead of the Texas based passport office in it. How could they be so completely careless?

Tom literally saved me $1k+…read more A story: there's an unscrupulous "business owner", with business intentionally in quotes as he's basically running a scam out of a ups mailbox. let's call him robert johnson hypothetically sadly for me, i didn't know this fact, and unwittingly sent my bentley dashboard cluster to this guy through the mail for repair. one month later, with zero response from multiple emails and voicemails, i was faced with no other option but to fly from CT to LA to show up to the store and plead them to help me. Tom was there for me and served as intermediary / hostage negotiator between me and this a-hole. Three hours later I was reunited with my bentley dashboard and I almost hugged Tom. He really came through.

Boxes and moved the services to the main line to the right. Pens for packages usually have to be asked for here since they're a hot commodity. Recently, my building had a mailbox key access issue and the post office took a month to repair/replace it. This caused residents to have to come in for mail pick-up, which got a bit messy. At one point, my blind mother went in to pick up her mail and someone released the entire building's mail to her. Thankfully she asked my SO for help sorting it which sent flags up to him to immediately return everything that wasn't hers. He explained the situation and the post office has seemingly taken things more seriously. The clerks? (not sure of the proper verbiage here) seem overworked and exhausted. I wish people were nicer to them despite their frustrations. It's better to stop in instead of calling for things, or set up a USPS account online where you can manage some things.

Needless to say, I didn't even know this place existed. Then someone mentioned that I might wanna check out Atlas - you know... just for the sake of comparison. I was floored, "It's next door?! How did I not even notice?!" So when the next time came back around, I came through here instead. And I think it'll be my go-to for remitting money from now on. 1) The exchange rate is higher vs. PNB. (Even if it is just 10 cents per dollar more, IT'S MORE.) 2) The fees are much less. ($9 vs $20 at PNB.) Western Union and Xoom couldn't compare either. I was the only customer at the time, so it was a quick stop. Did I mention I also use their services for shipping Balikbayan boxes to the Philippines? I have not hit a snag on that department either. So happy about the discovery! I shall

I've been going here for years, since LONG before it changed ownership. Sometimes lines are long; sometimes they aren't. Regardless, they scan my packages, and they arrive at their locations - often a little late, despite me always selecting overnight delivery, but that's not this location's fault (I assume). I will say that the new franchise owners are a little more pleasant than the former; I think she'd grown jaded, and as such I kind of totally got it the next time I walked in and she wasn't there - good for you, girl, for selling and moving on. I love that the new team is always hanging out, being real; i feel more at home, tbh. I will say that of the three area UPS stores i've ever had a reason to check out, this is consistently the best. And at least if you wait in line for ages, you can pop over to Steel Cup next door for something good on your way out (coffee/beer/lunch/breakfast/mimosas) - or, if it's been an annoying enough experience, across the lot to Blondies for the hard stuff. in sum, it's a UPS store. if they get your packages out, i mean, that's a win, right?
