From the initial phone call, set-up visit, and actual installation, the whole process was a breeze! Today's visit was a re-screening of an existing sliding door. The screen had a rip in the lower corner caused by the dog. The technician, Mike, arrived promptly at the designated time. He quickly evaluated the needed repair, proceeded to replace the screen and re-installed to perfection! All within 30 minutes. Mike also explained to us preventative measures we can take to help insure longevity. Very professional experience. I had motorized screens installed by California Screens about a year ago. Bryce has been a pleasure to work with. If there are any problems or issues I just call the office and Bryce comes out within a week. It's nice to know that level of customer service still exists! The motorized screens are a life saver. We live in an area where it can get windy and cold at night. The screens keep the wind out and the heat in! I loved them so much, that I ordered more for another patio area in the back yard. This company is the only local dealer for Clearview. I've had the Clearview Retactable Screen Door for a few years now. It's a great way to not cover your attractive front doors and still get a great breeze in tha house. When they are open ya really can't see them. These are the most expensive screen doors I've ever seen but I gotta say, they are the best. The CRSD has a lifetime warranty. Nothing else does. You get what you pay for. They are professional and courteous. Quote time to install was about 1 week. The frame feels sturdy and installation solid. Shout out to Randy who is still driving all over doing his thing and Carlos who installed the screen in about 1 hour. Although the side housing into which the screen retracts "stick out", in person, you will not notice it unless you are intent on looking at your doors from the side all the time. Would I have rather bought it at Lowes and and attempt to cut aluminum tracks, drills holes, align the doors in order to install it myself, just save a couple hundred? Nah. read more

We had a family reunion coming up and our cat had thrashed the sliding door screen. We called ClearView Retractable Screen by Southern California Screen and they came and measured our door. We have a large sliding door and they assured us that their screen would retract smoothly. They rushed the order and installed it before the reunion. The screen is awesome and has been working great. These types of screens are so nice in Southern California because it is only visible when you have it open. When it is retracted you have a 'ClearView' as it is hidden. I would like to report West Side Screen Door for fraud and complete incompetence. It's owner, Randy, not only has taken our money without finishing the work we paid for our home, but his team has also failed to properly conduct themselves in our home and inadequately worked with the materials they promised to secure. When Randy's team first came to our home for an assessment, we had planned on putting screen doors on our numerous balcony doors and bedroom/bathroom windows. However, on the day of the first installation (Monday, August 4th, 2014), Randy's team member, Nick, came into our house with muddy shoes and soiled all of our carpets. Randy was quick to compensate us for the damage, but Nick then continued to work in the house with varying results. He neglected to install my son's upstairs bathroom screen, which was the most important screen of all, and he also improperly installed a screen in the master bedroom. It opens on its own, its not a phantom like we asked, and it snaps quickly rendering it dangerous. In addition, Randy's company did not prepare the correct number of screens for the first installation appointment. Moreover, even though Randy graciously deducted from his company's fee for the cleaning of our carpets, the process still cost us wasted time and energy for our baby son to be out of the house, furniture to be moved, and other arrangements had to be made. But to finally push customer care out the window, he cancelled the installation of my son's missing screen at the last minute rather than giving us notice ahead of time. We have made several attempts to contact Randy directly about either finishing the job or giving us a refund, but he has not returned our calls or emails. His company deserves to be repped as blacklisted. We hope that your company can make sure that other consumers are out there and aware of the fraud that is West Side Screen Door. read more

These retractable screens have been game changes in our house! We are now able to leave the bedroom door that leads to our backyard open at night and enjoy the cool air. They were quick to come out, measured for me plus also made great suggestions for what would look best, I didn't feel rushed for 1 screen and they took the time to make sure I was happy. Once the screen came in they did a great job with the install and I was very happy with the end result. We had a small problem with the install and I contacted them and they responded right away and actually sent someone out to fix it! I didn't have to beg for help and they were right on it.
