    Margherita Pizza

The truffle and risotto here was incredible, so flavorful! Already planning my next visit. Was about a 20 minute wait on a Sunday evening in the summer and it is positioned right on the corner, so the best parking will be inside the international marketplace. Looks like they have a pretty stocked and crowd at the bar for the happy hour goers. The margherita pizza was our kid's favorite. He ate the whole slice, crust included! If you are looking to try their pizza and also share with your kid, would recommend doing this! The risotto was so homey and full of flavor. Simply amazing! The truffle fettuccine was equally as flavorful. It was creamy and had that rich truffle scent and flavor. The prosciutto was delicate and brought the whole dish together. We shared an arugula salad to feel healthy and the lemon zest and freshness complimented the rich flavors very well. Topped the tasty meal off with some ice cold chocolate gelato! Bon appetito!

As locals, we're always looking for restaurants that are worth coming back to, and Appetito Craft Pizza & Wine Bar definitely made the list. My wife, our friends, and I had a fantastic dinner here, and everything from start to finish was enjoyable. We shared a variety of dishes - including the truffle Alfredo, lobster mac & cheese, lasagna, prosciutto pizza, meatballs, eggplant caponata, and shishito peppers - and every plate was packed with flavor. It's the kind of menu that makes you want to order a little bit of everything. The service was friendly, attentive, and handled our larger group with ease. We never felt rushed, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. The ambiance was another highlight - comfortable, energetic, and perfect for spending a few hours enjoying great food and conversation with friends. Living on Oʻahu means we have plenty of dining options, and Appetito gave us an experience we'll happily recommend to friends and family. We look forward to coming back to explore more of the menu. Mahalo to the entire team for a wonderful evening!

We celebrated our engagement here. This is my second time coming here, but first time dining in. It took a while to get our waters, but our food was excellent. We got meatballs, a pesto shrimp pasta, a couple of different pizzas and pastas and they brought out a desert for me and my fiancée.

    Lasagna - delicious!

Although the place is noisy, the food makes up for it. I had the King Kong appetizer, which was a delicious Hawaiian sausage with a melted cheese sauce to pour over it with some delicious yellow squash and brussels sprouts. Great way to get things started. As an entrée, I shared the crab fettuccine and the lasagna. Both were delicious, but the lasagna was absolutely superb. It had a unique flavor that had me going back for it three days later. I'm surprised this restaurant doesn't have higher reviews, but hopefully this one will help nudge it up a bit. The place would benefit a lot by adding some acoustic treatment, but other than that, I don't have any suggestions. Excellent service and elicious food!

Review 34 (2026) Happy Hour Happy Hour menu is available in between 4pm to 6pm. We had, Portobello Fries $12 ( regular price $17), and Mushroom Cheese Risotto regular price $24, and Happy Hour drinks. Portobello Fries were amazing. I loved this sauce. Mushroom Cheese Risotto was so delicious. Very filling. There were Seasonal menu, in June " Mango". We tried to order Mango Panna cotta as dessert, unfortunately wasn't available. We were in 6/1, not available? A little disappointed. Service was ok, not like a last time. Last time was more fun and enjoyable. Thank you so much. We will be back again.

I will start off by saying the food here was amazing! I would rate my perfected Italian Style Neapolitan pizza amongst the best I've had anywhere. The flavors and textures were exactly as you'd expect if you'd have ordered it somewhere in Italy. When I crave pizza, this is the kind I'm dreaming of. So five stars on the food. So the not so great... I was seated right away (good) but dining solo, they asked me if I minded being seated at the upper bar. I didn't want to hog a whole four-top table being a single diner so I acquiesced with a promise someone would be right there to take my order. That didn't happen. For a long time. Finally the manager noticed, took pity on my starving and thirsty soul and took my order. She made sure everything came out and that I had eats and drinks. If not for her, it'd have been 35 full minutes before "my server" ever showed up. UNSAT. 1 star to said server (Adam?). 4 stars for manager finally noticing and taking pity. Located in a busy corner of Kuhio Ave and Ka'iulani Ave in the heart of Waikiki, the place is easy to find and has a nice open space to enjoy your meal. Pro tip: If you're dining alone, you may want to request a regular table rather than the upper bar area, as service there appeared inconsistent during my visit.

After spending a few hours at the beach (very humid and hot weather), we as a group of nine (9) were very hungry. As a group, we decided that we wanted something delicious yet fulfilling so we decided on pasta. We narrowed it down to Appetito Craft Pizza & Wine Bar which was a six minute walk from the hotel that we were staying at. Upon arrival, we had a short wait time and were lead to inside to a private room, very cozy and spacious for our group. As the menu offer many options to choose from, we ordered two pizzas, one chicken, one lasagna, five pastas and two appetizers. The food was delicious and flavorful, very fulfilling. Was expecting something very mediocre prior to arrival but was blown by the kind and attentive staff members, the delicious meal, and lovely ambiance. Would definitely recommend and would come back in the future. Would highly recommend!

Cute little Italian spot in Waikiki. We were able to get sat within 15 minutes without a reservation. Great service. Pasta was the star of the show. Both the lasagna and the bolognese were excellent. The pizza was just lacking a bit. I've had much better pizza for way less. I'd recommended their pasta and maybe skipping out on their pizza here

This ended up being one of my favorite spots to grab drinks and share a bunch of appetizers. The atmosphere is lively, there's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors (including an upstairs area), and with multiple TVs showing the games, it's a great place to hang out with friends. The service was excellent. The manager stopped by our table several times to check on us and offered great recommendations. Which is probably why we ended up ordering what felt like half the menu. Drinks: - The Lemon Drop was easily the star of the night. It was made exactly how I like it! Strong, smooth, and still sweet enough to be dangerously easy to drink. One of the better Lemon Drops I've had. - The Blue Hawaiian was pretty and refreshing, but it wasn't nearly as strong. If you're deciding between the two, I'd definitely recommend the Lemon Drop. Food: - The hummus is a safe choice and hard to go wrong with. - The meatball in curry sauce was one of the biggest surprises. It's a giant meatball, so I expected it to either be undercooked or dry on the inside, but it was incredibly juicy. The rich curry sauce paired perfectly with it and made it one of my favorite dishes of the meal. - The fried mushrooms are an absolute must-order. Since mushrooms hold so much moisture, I expected them to be soggy, but they came out perfectly crispy while staying juicy inside. They really know how to fry mushrooms here. - The salami pizza was just okay. The salami slid right off on my first bite, so it wasn't the easiest to eat, and it didn't stand out compared to the other dishes. - The Margherita pizza was the better choice of the two. It's simple, well-executed, and you really can't go wrong with it. Just keep in mind the pizzas are fairly small, with only four slices each. Overall, this is a place I'd happily come back to. Between the excellent service, fun atmosphere, well-made cocktails, and standout appetizers, it's an easy spot to recommend for a casual night out. Just don't skip the Lemon Drop and the fried mushrooms. They were the highlights of the meal.

Celebrated Mother's Day lunch at Appetito and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. My daughter surprised me with lunch reservations because she knows how much I love Italian food, and it was the perfect spot for us to celebrate the afternoon together. We started with the portobello fries that were perfectly flash fried. The mushrooms were crispy on the outside, while tender on the inside, paired with the flavorful pesto aioli. We ordered the mushroom cheese risotto, which was creamy, rich, and full of earthy mushroom flavor. The homemade Bolognese with pappardelle was hearty with flavorful beef ragu over perfectly cooked pasta. My daughter also ordered the watermelon lime mojito mocktail that was light, refreshing, and perfect for a warm Waikiki afternoon. What made the experience even more memorable was the thoughtful complimentary tiramisu they gave for Mother's Day. This was such a sweet and unexpected touch that was appreciated and welcomed. The service throughout our meal was attentive, welcoming, and friendly. The restaurant has a cozy, casual, and inviting atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating.

The Happy Hour food at Appetito was amazing and reasonably priced however the young gentleman host at the door needs training in regards to people of color / African Americans. His demeanor was rude and dismissive and frankly will drive customers away . We have visited several restaurants in Waikiki and have never been so rudely greeted . We suggest re- training him as to how to greet guests in the near future !! Hopefully they can address our concerns !!

My hubby wanted to try this pizza place for dinner, so we decided to give it a try. We started with the octopus ceviche appetizer, which was fresh and delicious, along with a kale salad topped with apples, grapes, and gorgonzola cheese. We also shared the thin-crust Margherita pizza, which was very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive.

A great lunch spot on Kuhio offering their take on Italian cuisine. We ordered a few items to share- Portobell Mushroom fries (we had to other a 2nd cause they were so yummy, Prosciutto and Buratta Salad, Homemade Bolognese with Parpadelle Pasta, and Italian Salami Pizza. Thank you to the hotel guest gave that walked in and handed us their $50 credit, since they were checking out. We will be back to try their Spicy Meatballs.

We ordered Seafood Paella, Mushrooms appetizer. The second time we added different menu. Seafood Paella, added Shrimp Ajillo with fresh homemade bread, Arugula beets salad. The third time ( this time ) we added another different menu. The more we come, the more we can try new menu and enjoy new tastes. Honestly El Cielo, all menu we tried even wine and draft beers, were top class, I love to nominate as the best restaurant in Hawaii. I am so glad I found the great restaurant, I was seeking for. Prices were not bad, as inflation everything costs are so expensive nowadays. Everywhere!! Their services are great too. If I live close by I would go El Cielo once or twice a week. Thank you so much. I will love to come back soon again.

Better than I expected.... Waikiki? I expected it to be expensive, touristy and overhyped. And yes,…read moreit is pricey and touristy. But the food is solidly good... I really enjoyed the octopus. Not too soft. It came with a nice chew and sat on a bed of thinly sliced potatoes. I could've eaten the whole dish by myself...No sharing next time. The egg custard was light, with a hint of bacon flavor. It was served in the shell in a high heeled shoe dish. So cute! The entrées were a bit of a different story... I ordered the pork shoulder at first and the waiter recommended it be done, medium rare. I have to say I am no longer a fan of bloody meat so I asked for it to be done medium. Honestly, it arrived and to my palate was a bit tasteless.... given that it was almost $60 I thought twice but was encouraged to send it back. The waiter was accommodating and I ordered the lamb chops instead. Two thick sliced lamb chops arrived about 15 minutes later and were a perfect medium served on a bed of potato and sweet potato. I really enjoyed this.... I like my lamb chops usually grilled, juicy and fatty. These were refined, trimmed of the fat and beautifully plated. I'd like to try the paella next time and more of the appetizers. Really good choice of fancy little cocktails also. I would reserve the back room for sure next time. That room has high ceilings and feels elevated. The front room where we sat was OK. I'd also opt for the outside seating area on a breezy evening... Otherwise it can be rather humid in the summer. Overall, excellent service and delicious food offerings. A bit pricey to be expected given the area.

I mentioned that it was just a general question and i wasn't coming that night. They informed me that it's validated for two hours and it's first come first serve. After the 2 hours its $14 an hour. Getting into the valet area was stressful enough as there was a car parked right before you turn and pedestrians that walk back and forth from their main driveway entrance. I also had to wait for valet for a bit too as there was 2 other cars in front of me and probably only 2 valet on duty trying to move cars forward. Reservations can be made on open table, but there was really no point to doing that since it's open seating during happy hour times. We ended up just picking a table that was in the shade, and noticed they only have their menu by QR code which is kinda annoying. The server was pretty nice tho and he brought my dog some water mid way. Their happy hour runs from 2-6 and the menu is slightly less expensive. The food was kind of standard hotel type of food and nothing really stood out. Otherwise the vibes at the restaurant was nice and i do like that they allow dogs to join you. it seems like they have live music after a certain time. I was even more annoyed and stressed with the valet when i went to pick up my car. They literally just handed me my keys. My car was parked along the wall probably 20 steps away, but they could have at least taken out my car cause it was so hard to get out, but i guess it's nice they trust that i wont bang the car in front of back of me i guess even tho im a pretty terrible parker. at the time they didn't look as busy as when i first arrived, so i dont know why they couldn't have just done the bare minimum with just pulling out my car from the stall.

Though a different bartender came back with a sparkler option for her. Needless to say, I felt pushed aside and I don't believe I'll be back to this location any time soon. We stopped in during their happy hour from 3-5 PM, and it immediately stood out as an ideal after-work pau hana or easy date-night spot. The space is relaxed and inviting, with a calm, tucked-away feel that makes you forget you're inside a hotel. The happy hour menu is impressively priced, with starters beginning at just $6, yet everything feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated. Highlights included the toasted bread with sun-dried tomato pistou -- warm, crisp toast paired with a deeply savory, herbaceous spread that's simple but incredibly satisfying. The mini poke bowl was fresh and well-balanced, showcasing clean flavors and quality fish without being overly heavy. The fish tacos delivered exactly what you want: crispy island fish, bright flavors, and a great balance of texture. We also tried the fish and chips, featuring lightly fried island fish, hot fries, and a creamy house remoulade that tied the dish together beautifully. The standout for us was the empanadas -- flaky, crisp pastry filled with tender braised beef and potato, finished with a bold aji rojo sauce that added just the right amount of depth and gentle heat. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed, and the overall vibe made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. Whether you're looking for a low-key happy hour, a casual date spot, or a place to unwind after work, this is a hidden gem worth seeking out. I'm currently choosing to avoid alcohol as much as possible, so I wasn't able to fully enjoy the incredible selection of wines recommended by the owner. However, I visited with a friend who is a true wine enthusiast, and they couldn't stop talking about how exceptional the wine selection was. The food, on the other hand, was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully prepared and so delicious that it genuinely made me happy. You can really tell that great care goes into every plate. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and incredibly inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and spend quality time with friends. Most of all, I want to compliment the owner and the entire staff. Their genuine kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality made our experience even more memorable. Excellent service can turn a great restaurant into a truly special one, and that's exactly what they've created here. Thank you for such joyful and memorable evenings. I look forward to coming back again soon, and I highly recommend Silver Lining to anyone looking for outstanding food, excellent wine, and truly exceptional hospitality.

They only serve natural wines, which made everything feel really intentional and thoughtfully chosen. We had a Pinot Noir, a super funky orange wine that was honestly really cool to try, and Coenobium -- a beautiful white wine made by nuns. At one point, a bottle of red wine was opened and poured as a little salute for the room -- a simple, unexpected moment that was really wholesome. For food, we shared the venison pâté with bread and a Caprese salad -- simple, but done so well and paired perfectly with everything. It wasn't just about what we had, but how the whole experience came together. There's something really special about what they're creating there. We are already planning our next visit!
