WOW! All customer service should be this pleasant and efficient! My very first visit (to this or any other Apple store) was 1 week before Christmas while the Bronco game was in full swing. As I had hoped, the mall was not at all crowded during Tebow Time. As it turns out, just about everyone at the mall was at the Apple store. My heart sank as I entered the store and saw all the people inside. I was beginning to prepare myself to be there for the rest of the afternoon. There were people everywhere and all of the guys in red shirts were busy with other customers. I quickly noticed how well-organized the store is. I easily found what I came for, the iPad 2. I noticed on the display model that you can request customer service assistance. I did so and someone immediately walked up behind me to get my name for the waiting list. The screen said I was third in line but less than a minute later, I was being helped. All of my questions were eagerly answered with extra descriptions/explanations. I obviously didn't notice the sales guy requesting my order (by typing it into the iPhone they all carry) because another red-shirted guy suddenly appeared with my iPad. It's almost as if the place operates on telepathy. After I finally decided on the type of cover to buy, my fabulous and patient sales guy (I'm so bummed I can't remember his name; I would love to give him a shout out), rang me up and emailed me the receipt, all while giving me a demonstration of iTV. My entire time in the store amounted to about 20 minutes. Amazing! read more

Okay, it's officially been one year since I've had my iPhone. As someone who doesn't update phones that often (prior to the iPhone, I had a razr for about three years...not kidding), it was a bit of a life-changing experience to have this little phone provide me a) music b) email c) internet and, oh yeah, d) a way to call people. I've been to the Apple Store probably half a dozen times since I got my phone, mainly because I am always losing headphones, connection cords, adapters, you name it. No fail, every time it is packed to the rafters. That said, it's usually not that difficult to grab some blue-shirted salesman and have them ring you up immediately, and I dig that they email you receipts so you don't have to carry around useless pieces of paper. My only wish is that their stuff was cheaper - I mean, $50 for a connection cord and adapter? Please. But I still love ya. Maybe they should offer a frequent-shopper program...hmm.... read more

I love my Mac! Don't get me wrong, this is NOT about Apple's products or Mac's! This is about THIS Cherry Creek Apple store. I'm NOT a fan! I've been there several times, for either purchases or to have the so-called "Genius Bar" work on my laptop. It doesn't matter when you go there, its overly crowded, that can't be helped, but when I make appt's with the Genius bar, I expect them to keep the appt's! They should not allow the crowds to take your spot & make you wait for an hour for your scheduled appointment. Most of the staff are nice & helpful, but I've had a real creep check me in once for my appt. He was so rude to me, I couldn't believe he was allowed to work with the public. Little punk! I had a few others there that were self-righteous know it alls that made you feel like scum for being in their presence. You never know what you're going to get at this store! The "Genius Bar" people are no Genius'! Trust me! I've taken my laptop back to them a few times, they go on & on about how intelligent they are & how they fixed your computer & then you find they didn't. I live 2.5 hours away from this store (the closest one to me) & I've had to go back several times because they did NOT fix my computer as they said they did, as I paid them to do. I've been to both Apple stores in Austin several times and almost always had great service. While on vacation in CO, my iphone (just over a week old) decided to stop charging so I had to go to the one and only (?!) Apple store in Denver. The earliest Genius bar appointment I could make was for 10:50am. I went in at 9:45am just to explain the situation and see if I could be seen even sooner in case someone didn't show (which I'm sure happens all the time and which I've also done in Austin with no problems). The check in girl, courteous and cheerful as she was, pretty much said that would never happen-- even if someone didn't show up. (Whhyyyyy, pray tell??) I proceeded to stand there and watch clusters of Apple employees chat and laugh with each other.... and yet, for some reason, no one could look at my phone??? She did eventually ask one girl to help me preliminarily, but all she did was try pluggin my phone into one of their superchargers. When that didn't work, she said she'd tell the check-in girl I still needed to see someone. Fast forward to 11:00am. I went back up to the check-in girl, who seemed surprised to see me because the other girl had never made the communication. Awesome. When I finally got to see a "genius" from the Genius Bar, he looked at my phone, told me he needed to replace it but assured me it had been backed up at 12:51 that morning. I saw the screen and said "No, it says the last back up was Jan 5..." He assured me that it had been backed up the night before too and then proceeded to switch over to a new phone. This made no sense to me since my phone had been DEAD at 12:51am... But I sat and waited as it backed up for about 45 minutes...When it turned on, sure enough-- the backup had been for my old phone, not the week-old new one that had died on me. So I lost all the info I'd added into the new one, as well as all my photos from vacation (save the ones I already put on Instagram, thank God). By the time I got out of there, it was three hours after the time I'd arrived. I was super annoyed I'd waited for an extra 45 min to back up the phone with what wasn't even the right info. And at that point it was too late to make the drive out to go snow tubing as planned on our last day of vacation. Thanks a lot, geniuses. read more

Spent two hours at this store waiting for a solution for my iPhone. Was finally told there was nothing they could do and I was sent away. The mangers framed a follow up conversation with me as "we are trying all we can," but ultimately nothing changed. I have had multiple experiences at this store where long lines have precluded me from a timely solution (if receiving any solution at all). Horrible experiences here and I do not recommend this store to anyone. read more

When I come to the Apple store I expect to be treated like crap, like the lowest of the low, because their items are so *precious* (whisper it) But for some reason at this store I've been treated very well. I got my iPhone there last week and this week when it acted up a bit I took it back and they ran some diagnostic tests on it and gave me hints to keep it running better. They don't have a very good selection of accessories as some of the Apple Stores I've been in, but I'll take their good attitude and few accessories over the bad attitude and lots of accessories of the other stores any day! read more

Whatever the case may be, I was able to track down one of the many cute nerds/hiphop/unique looking guys after about five minutes. Aren't those guys just so cute? Sorry, getting off track. Since my ibook battery charger was mysteriously smashed, it was only natural for me to run around saying "this is a fuck!" and immediately rush to the nearest store. Needless to say, this store is NOT close. I brought in my crushed cord and in about an apple of a minute (not a new york minute mind you) was handed a new battery charger for less then $90. Who knew? Thank god my ibook from back in the day (2002 represent!!) still runs good as new (immediately knocks on wood). Saved by the Apple, yet again. read more

If you need help with your apple products, you need to have a lot of patience and low expectations to come to this store. After jumping through several hoops to make a genius bar appointment (which is unnecessarily inconvenient now), my appointment wouldn't show up online. I called the store to see what was going on since I had to call apple directly to even make the appointment and I had received a confirmation email. After that they apologized for not having me in the system, I asked to speak to the manager. The girl on the phone said the manager, Joe, said you came come in and we will take care of you. When I get here and explain the story to two different guys on the floor who check people in, they said, I'm sorry but you will have to wait until something opens up because we have people who made appointments and are coming in. So here I am, at there storing, hoping someone will actually help me. Not only would I not come here, but I wouldn't waste my time and money again to buy the iPhone 6, macbook or iPad. All overrated products with now such poor care for them when they stop working. They used to have excellent support but it has gone downhill tremendously in the past year. My iPhone camera broke this morning at Red Rocks. One minute I'm taking photos of, well, red rocks, and the next minute my camera just shows blurry pink nothingness, no matter where I point it. And me without my backup point and shoot. Lovely. The Bud and I popped over to the Apple Store, convinced I would have to buy a new phone. I made an appointment with the first available Genius, who called my name within minutes of arrival. He quickly diagnosed the problem and let me know that yes, I would need a new phone, but it's all under warranty. We walked out the door less than an hour later, new phone in hand, $0.00 out of pocket for the phone. All around great experience. read more

I moved to Denver in the early fall months and this is the closest Apple store to my house. I'm planning on starting school in January and I needed to get a laptop. After extensive research for the best non-Apple laptop, every single computer fell short of the newest MacBook Pro that Apple has. So with that, I then decided to go forth and get myself a MacBook Pro. I seen on their website that they offered a special financing credit card that I could use right then and there to pay for my purchase! I'm still young and trying to build up credit, so I jumped on the opportunity. I had a generous limit for not having too much credit established and I ended up buying a MacBook Pro, the new iPad with Retina display, and the newest iPad mini. It worked out perfectly because I had been wanting the iPad mini and I gave the iPad to my boyfriend as an early Christmas gift! All I had to do was pick out what I wanted, place my order, select that I wanted to pick it up in stores and boom, it was done! I was so surprised at how quick and easy it was to navigate through everything to get exactly what I wanted. Shortly after, I went to the Apple store to pick it up. When I arrived, I was greeted and instantly directed to where I needed to go to pick up my recently purchased items. Mind you, this Apple store is ALWAYS busy, but even so, I didn't have any issues or any wait time. After reaching my destination, I was greeted again by an associate who asked for my ID, and then sent someone to the back to bring out my items. She was very friendly and asked me if I had any trouble with the order, or if I had any questions about my new items. After a few moments, all of my items came out and the associate I had been chatting with checked me out. After reading all these bad reviews about this Apple store, I have to say that not everyone has had a bad experience here. If you're reading these reviews and are wishy-washy about wanting to purchase your items from this location, give it a shot. I've visited this location MANY times to purchase items for myself and for my company. I have never had any issues with any associate and I've always been helped in a timely fashion. So give it a try, who knows, it might just become your favorite location. read more

I have to agree with all the past reviews mentioning the terrible customer service at this location. If you're just going there to browse, it's like every other Apple store you've ever been to. If you're going there for a Genius Bar appointment--consider trying a different location. I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early, checked in, and was told I was 2nd in line to be helped. All the other appointments cleared out and I grabbed a seat at the Genius Bar, where I proceeded to sit for nearly 45 minutes, watching groups of Apple employees converse amongst one another behind the counter and generally do their best to avoid acknowledging or assisting customers in any way. Another man waiting to pick up his laptop was finally able to catch the attention of an employee, who said "Oh sorry guys, something got messed up with the Genius Bar scheduling so we're double scheduled and understaffed!"....and then proceeded to turn back to her conversation with a coworker. I don't know how Apple stores are set up, so maybe none of those employees were trained to work at the Genius Bar. That's fine-- but don't tell me you double booked me and are understaffed when you're standing around gossiping. Come on. At least go in the back room where it won't be as blatantly obvious that you're wasting my time. About 30 minutes into my wait, an employee came over to me and told me I was finally next in line. More time passed, and the same employee came over-- and called out the name of someone who had been waiting there for no more than 2 minutes. Understandably, I was pretty upset by this and said "Excuse me, but I got here 40 minutes ago and you told me I was next in line." The guy shot me an apologetic glance and said "Oh yeah, sorry but we had you double booked for the same time!". So, don't bother showing up early to your appointment, but if you walk in 20 minutes late they should be willing to help you right away. The only plus was that the employee who finally DID come to help me was very nice and apologetic. However, 5 minutes after he came over he said "Sorry, I ran over to help you but I left those people waiting! I'll be back!" and went back over to help the other customers. So I waited. Again. (Not that this was really his fault, he was the only employee in the entire store who seemed to have it together.) At that point I had spent over an hour waiting around and needed to get to work, so I grabbed my laptop and told the man who had been helping me that I needed to leave. He apologized again and extended the warranty for the problem I've been having by a month. Which is great, but I think I'll take advantage of that extra time by driving to a different Apple store. read more

if i could rate a 0, i would. i've been to this location a handful of times. every-time i come in, im instantly reminded why i avoid it. i've had apple for years, it's the only manufacturer for phones i use. i will always order online or go to Park meadows because of my experiences here. i made an appointment to get my phone serviced. upon arriving, (i came early because i know how busy they can get) i was not greeted. i wasn't even glanced at. after standing around for about 5 minutes i go to the person who seems welcoming (there were large group of employees who were having conversations that were very obviously not work related.) after he told me to speak to a technician, the next person i spoke to brushed me off (saying i'll be right back). i waited some more time before asking another person who was just standing around to be told "hold on, we'll be with you". people who entered the store after i did were being helped while i waited, no one i spoke to asked my name or what i was there for. i wasted 25 minutes of my time being brushed off and ignored before leaving to Park Meadows. they have a clique vibe which is not intuitive if your working in customer service. your employees should be welcoming and willing to help EVERYONE. it seems like this store is more concerned with helping lighter skinned people rather than everyone who enters their store, which is a very large difference compared to their location in Park meadows. that was truly an terrible experience considering i had to pay for parking and wasting my time with an appointment. read more

My first Mac was an SE80 ('85). Anyone go back farther than that? Unfortunately, I grew up in the dark ages and was stuck professionally having to switch to DOS and then Windows machines before finally going back to Mac 5 years ago. It is true what they say. Once you go Mac, you never go back! I now own a MacBook Pro, iPod, iPhone and all the extra crap that you simply MUST sport to look like you are cool too. It is expensive trying to keep up with all you young kids these days. But I digress... If you do not own a Mac, I have a suggestion to make to you. It is a secret so you need to come closer to your screen. Closer. Closer Now listen carefully. Closer. DUMP YOUR PC AND STOP BEATING YOUR HEAD AGAINST THE WALL!!!! Bad trick. Sorry to yell in your ear like that but someone needs to talk some sense into you. What can your PC do for you that can't be done on a Mac? Nada, zilch, zip. I can run any Windows program I want to on my Mac, including Windows itself. But why would I ever do that? Can you run Mac OSX on your PC? Hell no! And I can tell you that Windows today, is about as sophisticated as Mac was in 1989. Have I ever had trouble with my Macs. Major problems. But I will let you all in on a little secret. Buy AppleCare when you buy your apple products and like me, you could be on your third laptop, all upgrades from the previous model, after having only purchased one laptop five years ago. What did he say? Apple actually takes responsibility for problems you may encounter with their hardware, and they make it right by the customer, ultimately throwing you a new model if you have too many problems with the one you bought. Now if only the American auto manufacturers worked that way... But I digress again. For those concerned about the wait to see a Mac Genius, at least you can get in to see someone face-to-face and SHOW them what is up with your hardware. Try calling India and talking to a Dell "expert" about hardware problems that they can't even see. Besides, a quick search on google turns up a huge number of message boards to post about your Mac and get feedback from fellow Mac-urbators (Just made that one up, but I do like it). Or better yet, turn to the person on your left or your right. They are either on a Mac right now, or wish they were. For iPhone questions, you could probably go into an AT&T store as well for answers. I love the Cherry Creek store and they have always been soooooo helpful to me, that I would not hesitate to walk in and drop coin with them again. read more

This Apple Store is a well oiled machine and never have I seen a group of employees work together in such perfect harmony! I had an appointment at the Genius Bar for a charging issue I had with my computer and they helped me out quickly and efficiently and helped resolve my issue in 20 minutes! My computer charger was the problem and they replaced it at no charge! Very happy with my experience and some of the best customer service I have received to date! read more

Honestly, I think I'll drive back to my old location in FlatIrons. I went here, granted on a weekend, but had to wait while 4 staff members were conversing with themselves and ignoring customers waiting to check out. I finally found someone and interrupted his texting which must have pissed him off because he barely grunted three words during our transaction. Definitely not an Apple experience and I wish I remembered his name because he was the one sullen person in the whole store and I got to deal with him. Really, this is not the way to customer service to grunt a customer and basically ignore him throughout a $300 transaction. This is a review for the One to One service that this Apple store offers. Last year I switched over from a pc to a mac. In addition to that being one of the best decisions in my career of creativity, I find the mac functionality much more logical and user friendly than my old pc. There is a step by step video tutorial for pretty much everything, so unless you are completely vacant of self-motivation, answers are easy to come by with minimal searching. This is in contrast to frustrating "help" searches I found myself engaged in with my pc. If you are a people person and prefer human interaction, that's where the One to One membership comes in. I am frugal, but am VERY happy I decided to purchase the year long One to One membership when I got my mac last year. The cost was (and I believe still is) $90. Membership includes uninterrupted, individual face time with one of the trainers at the Apple store (as often as weekly, if you have that type of time in your schedule to carve out). The trainers can help you with the basics of navigating your mac dashboard and learning the basics of the applications, but are also skilled to assist you with advanced individual projects (presentations, video projects, slideshows...). Today I went in for help with iweb and was inspired to write this review because I left the Apple Store thinking, "Somewhere in this world, the session I just had costs in the neighborhood of 50 bucks." I've left with that same sentiment on a number of occasions, which means I received a ton of bang for my buck with the One to One membership I purchased with my mac. My membership actually expires later this month, but I plan on renewing it (which you can do once) for an additional $90, because it is more than worth it. For an old fogey who kinda misses learning stuff in college, I've found the One to One sessions and workshops to be catalysts for creativity and productivity. read more

I'm not going to review the products because, well, Mac is Mac. I've had good and bad experiences with Apple products, but I can't stop buying them. I'm a sucker for marketing, I guess. Today I went in for an iPhone 4 issue that I carefully researched the night before (virtual shutter stuck closed). I told the customer service rep what was wrong, and what I had seen as the common thread online with this issue. The gist of his reply was "Oh, so you found 60 other people online with the same problem? You can always find that online, no matter what." He seemed really irritated at me, and didn't work too hard to hide it, despite the fact that there are literally hundreds of thousands of posts, YouTube videos, and blogs dedicated to the issue. I tried to be cheerful after the initial conversation. Maybe I'm the asshole, right? I mean, I guess I didn't let him do his job since I presented him with the information that I already knew. He had never heard of the issue, and decided to replace my phone instead of looking inside. While I'm happy with the replacement, he said that to open up the phone would waste his time, then he'd be potentially late for the next customer. It was nine am. The store wasn't even open yet. I hope they send the phone in for refurbishing, because that seems like a terrible waste. Anyway, I advise playing dumb when you go to the Genius Bar--similar to going to the mechanic--unless you're prepared to tolerate a very grumpy Genius. read more

I have had consistently bad service at this store. Even if you make an appointment, you wait. I've waited up to half an hour. That being said, if you make an honest mistake and are 15 minutes late, I had booked an appointment 5 days prior, thought it was at 1130, it was at 1115, you are told you have to wait as if you are a walk-in, and the wait time I was quoted was an hour. It seems like there an endless group of people in blue t-shirts that are not able to help you. You have to find someone that can help you, even if the person you ask for help doesn't have anything going on. I had my brand new ipad just break recently, stopped turning on, wouldn't do anything but show a blank screen. When I brought it in to get it switched out since it was only two months old, I was told I would have to wait four hours to have someone help me. Meanwhile, I counted 10 employees just standing around, playing on their ipads and iphones. I will be going to another store from now on. The people that work there are rude and unhelpful. I went in with a friend one time and we waited half an hour to purchase a cord. She ended up just downloading the app where you can buy things on your iphone. It was ridiculous. I am a slave to apple products, so I need to go to a store. Unfortunately, I will have to drive out of my way from now on to go to another store where hopefully I will get better service. I would NOT recommend going to this location. read more

tl:dr "would rather call Comcast customer service than visit this Apple Store ever again" Broken iPhone screen this AM, just need to get it fixed, only Apple Store within miles, super busy schedule at hospital and have one evening off= - can't schedule an appointment online - 30 min on phone with central customer service unable to schedule an appointment at my local store on drive home from work, suggests walking in after trying to call store from hq and getting nowhere - walk in to store, 4 people with iPads talking to each other, tell me they have no more appointments for iPhone repair, can't do anything tonight, suggest me walking in during my nonexistent lunch break (usually lucky to pee let alone eat) when they might be able to help me - leave store, call customer service again, can't even make an appointment since they are all booked as far in future as possible (unless you're bringing in anything other than a phone) and only other option is in another city Don't waste your time here unless you want to buy a product, and if you do good luck getting any help with it ever. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY AN APPLE PRODUCT AGAIN!!!! read more

Boy, Apple is going down hill.... words like "your" environment is keeping your phone from doing its basic functions. You use your phone more than normal people and over 500 charges your battery isn't going to be that good anymore. I can't find the notes from your hour phone call with Apple Support. I guess when you are on top you can forget about your clients that stuck with you during the bad times. As a guy that suggests computers and phones for not only the company he works for and other businesses there has been a massive change at Apple in the last year. The client and the experience is no longer important. Got a problem with a product it's your problem, it isn't our product that has issues. I personally own 50 Apple products and have had every iPhone some the second one out. If I can't get business done on the phone that pays for me to afford your products then maybe it is time for a change. read more

I've always had a good experience with the kids at the Apple Store. Anyone not prepared or chill enough to understand their business model and store concept --should just buy an android. The people who work here are friendly, they love Apple products, and from my experience they are Jedi masters at handling pressure and dealing with surly customers. Ok, that aside, not everyone is top notch here- some of the worker bees are lacking, but if they stay true to the rockstars who run the place, they'll either learn their way or be out the door. During my fist visit to the store to purchase a Macbook, the two sales clerks I was working with were awfully intent on pressuring me into buying the Apple Care warranty and protection package. Since I tend to upgrade my laptop every two years, I've never found Apple Care necessary and explained to the sales clerks why (and that anything with a warranty purchased on my AMEX card is honored an additional year warranty compliments of the card). When we visited tonight to take my husband's Macbook Pro to the genius bar, we were approached by nearly every sales clerk in the store asking if we needed help. You can't say they aren't attentive. I don't have anything to say against the store other than feeling pressured to purchase Apple Care. I've owned Apple products longer than the kids peddling the warranty have been able to drive. Otherwise, the store seems fine and the staff generally interested in making sure customers are happy. read more

I have been an avid mac user for just a few years now, but none the less I am serious about my apple goodies. After I turned from the naughty hard to follow dark side known as PC my life has gotten so much brighter and easier! To my dismay my world came crumbling down on the day my ipod gave me the dreaded sad face. I did not freak out because I have already experienced the scary sad face(yes it truly shows a sad face when your ipod dies) on my 4th generation ipod just approximately six months ago. Okay I did freak out a little but don't tell anyone. Luckily, it was under warranty and I paid $60 for a new 4th generation ipod. Knowing my ipod was really only 6 months old I figured there was nothing to fear as I made my appointment with the Mac genius. WRONG! The short end of the story...This particular genius did not like older Mac products and his answer was sorry it's out of warranty and buy a new one. He was completely unhelpful. He even told me to buy a new computer when I asked about an upgrade. Let's just say my head almost exploded! WHAT???? So I asked to talk to a manager. I believe his name is Eric. Eric listened as I ranted about his genius who could not help me. How lame is it to have an ipod that only lasts 6 months. How his genius had insulted me with his just buy a new one attitude. How I expected a similar trade out as the one I made six months ago. Eric not only made things right, but went above the call of duty. He gave me a brand new ipod!!! I was very appreciative to him and told him it was not a fair trade, but he insisted and apologized for the bad customer service. Thank you Apple! Thank you Eric for restoring my image of large corporations and for making bad customer service turn into great customer service. I am forever a Mac user. read more

Despite the fact that the place is always PACKED, the customer service has always been absolutely phenomenal. Each time I have visited the store, which finally let to an iMac purchase this weekend, the staff has been incredibly helpful, cheerful, and provided great knowledge and assistance. When my wife broke her brand new iPad, they were super helpful. When we sat and argued over the 27" vs/ 21" screen, they provided useful notes to help in the decision. This weekend, when we bought the iMac, they literally had 4 members of their staff come and congratulate us, ask us if we need any other assistance, and make sure we were completely satisfied. I wish all sales experiences were like this - car companies, take note! I have been a long time PC loyalist - always fighting against the Mac cultural takeover. How can you argue with their innovation and great staff? It's no wonder the stock continues to escalate and grow - it's the people, the great products, and the overall experience that makes Apple the clear computing leader. read more

wow- I'm shocked at the service- or lack there of at the Apple Store in Cherry Creek- this is a long story- sorry. I am a professional photographer so I have quite a few macs- not the i-phone yet though- dang it! anyway a dvd got stuck in my imac, after 2 hrs w/apple care it was finally decided I needed to take it in and he made the appt. not too bad so far... so I bring it in, they trouble shoot for a minute and then decipher I need a new disc drive- I have apple care so no big worry. So I pick it up the next day later and then it wouldn't burn any dvd's at 8x- the speed I have been burning the same brand of cds/dvds for years! soooo, so now after another couple of hours of apple care chat I get to load up a 24" I mac again.... not exactly light! oh so a quick aside, the apple care guy scheduled my appt wrong- frickin appts- what a blessing and a curse- so I get there and I can't leave it until the next day and I can't have it my car at a shoot the rest of the day, so I have to "quick check it" and get bumped the bottom of the line. so next, I get a call they've been burning dvds with no problem, so I think ok-....I'll bring my dvds, (and I even bought a new pack in case the batch I had was bum ) and made an appt- again, so I could sit with a know-it-all geek to make sure I can make sure it is burning correctly before I take it home to take it right back again. so I sit down and start loading files onto a disc to burn- I get like 33 files on there ad the geek named Randy says "whoa... that's going to take forever..." I told him I normally burn like 200 RAW images...I'm a photographer my hard drive fills up like once a week! no wonder it was working- they were burning dvds with like 2 files- not like the load I need!! I then told him I made an appt to specifically make sure my media burns at the speed I've always burned it at and he responds" ok well do what you want. it's burning 101 though... always burn at a slower speed- I'd take the extra 15 mins to burn slower" well....true, but when you burn hundreds of gigs at a time 15mins. times how many discs adds how many hours? And....it was fine burning faster before! so the guy says "fine try it at 8x but when it doesn't work I'll just tell you to do it at 4x" so I try it at 4x to negate that situation...so it work once and then doesn't work again. so then he says"so will a new optical drive make you happy." so I say "if that will fix it so I can burn like before- yes, unless there could be some other problem," he says again " will a new hard drive make you happy" mind you at this point i've been nice and calm, even saying- "i know I'm nuts i just want to make sure it burns before I lug it home again." no need for such rude responses so I repeat my response... and he says" i'm calling it a defective drive..." an he goes up to one of the helper girls and says"this lady needs a new optical drive tell so-and-so I'm going to lunch.." and he throws his gap scarf around his neck and walks out of the store! are you kidding me! gosh this story is long...so I get a manager at this point he says he has to get a "genius" because he's not a tech blah blah.... he was nice and considerate but the problem still hasn't been fixed- partially because I won't go back there. right after this i had an issue with my laptop- I still love mac, I just use them to the max- so I went to the boulder store- totally different story- make the trip to boulder (i know it's own republic but..) it's worth it!!! so once I get the energy to lug the imac around again I'm going to boulder- thank god I have an external burner!!!! cherry creek bad--boulder good! read more

I know a lot of people have put bad reviews on this business. I have to say mine was outstanding. Granted, I ordered online and made arrangements to pick up in store which may be different from other reviewer's. However, the process was seamless. Everyone was very nice. There was no issues. They answered my questions they made me feel welcome I have nothing but good things to say about the store. read more

I made a reservation to have my phone battery replace earlier today. What's the point of making a reservation in advance and specially asking them about having it done while I wait just to have the reservation first messed up, second they are 40 minutes late, and then told they can't do the work as they don't have the staff (oh yea lots of apple people milling about not helping anyone). I needed a simple fix to my computer display screen and they sent my computer away telling me I would receive it back in 2 days. It has now been over a week and I am a full time student trying to take finals. I am completely screwed and I would never have given them my computer if I knew how long it would take. I can't get my computer back now and have asked multiple times. I am extremely pissed off and stressed. read more

Instead of putting an apple employee out front to answer questions they put a group of uneducated useless morons out front who have zero idea about anything. I was refused a charger for the most expensive model of iPhone apple offers and threatened with security if I didn't leave because the app wouldn't let me set express checkout for today. Since the death of Steve Jobs this company is going to hell. Absolutely no innovation, lack luster late iPhone releases that defecate on the memory of Steve Jobs and the culture he built, and now the absolute worst company model during a common cold "pandemic." I don't regret selling my apple stock months ago because this company is going absolutely nowhere but down. Way to make things worse than they have to be and making it absolutely impossible to buy your products that are far inferior to Samsung. That should mean a lot coming from someone completely immersed in apple tech. read more

I know this place is trendy and iPods are all the rage! So I gave in and bought my daughter one of the Fat Little iPod nanos, very cool at first but the thing suddenly stopped playing in the middle of just about anything! So I call in the the iPod hot line thing they tell me the easiest way is to take it to the store in Cherry Creek! Well I finally get off my arse and decide to go there. I walk in and there are 4 guys obviously to cool for school and impervious to my presence so after butting in on their conversation I explain to them that this iPod basically stopped working! 4 People not doing a dam thing, standing around talking about who could make their hair look the messiest! Tell me that I have to have a tech look at it and they wont be available until 6pm tomorrow! I ask them what they are doing and they say waiting on customers to come in, HELLO here I am! No you have to come back tomorrow at 6pm for an appointment. I don't know if this is there tactic to get people to stop from returning these little POS devices. They wont beat me though I will return tomorrow at 6pm and after I exchange this little POS I will sell it on craigslist and probably get 2 comparable devices for my daughters for the cost of this POS! read more

If you want top-notch service, go any time. Seriously, there are five million employees wandering around in seasonally fun red shirts, and you can always nab someone walking past you. Want a Genius Bar appointment? Make it before you go! Otherwise, once you're there, you can use any of the laptops or iPads to schedule an appointment. Want to make a purchase? Download the Apple Store app and you can buy your accessory or over-the-counter product from your iPhone or iPod Touch! Want to hang out and check your mail? Do it. This store is a little heavy on the male employees, but they're all friendly, super geeky, and willing to help you out in any way humanly possible. I've been to many an Apple store, and so far the dozen times I've been here so far have been outstanding. read more

Rushed in at two minutes to the hour, knowing how punctual the Genius Bar supposedly is, and waited 15 minutes before someone finally called my name. Then, my Mac was poked and prodded for two hours while I blew through my dinner plans (thanks). And then and then, I was told that the "fix" would take two hours, and they can't do that because they work in 15-minute appointments. ...You're joking, right? Nice workers (although what I assume to have been the manager was a real jerk. He ignored when I was speaking, spoke over me, and wouldn't do so much as acknowledge my presence. Winner!), but my rating is for how well you do your job, not how much I'd like to have you as a friend. read more

When I bought my laptop, they were very helpful and patient. However, I just came in for a support appointment and I am already standing here waiting for ten min past my appointment time. I recommend not doing so many appointments if the time is not honored. Maybe space out the times a little more read more
