I was late getting into town. I had decided to drive into the evening past my normal stopping time on this trip to better position myself to have a free day to spot around still distant Edwards AFB in the days ahead. It compounded dinner plans as most of the eateries at that time and part of town were drive through only and the moving van was not going to fit. Applebees was a perfect stop. I ordered food to go and while I waited grabbed a draft. The beer was cold and properly served in a cold glass. The staff was friendly and my food was ready in a timely fashion Not much more you can ask for

Mom and I came to eat after she picked me up from the airport. It's our tradition. This time, we chose Applebees. It's been a minute since I ate at an Applebees. It gave me the 'Cheers' vibes. It seemed like it was filled with regulars. Our server, Jet, was very cordial and greeted us with a warm smile every time she returned to our table! We ordered mozarella sticks as an appetizer. I love mozarella sticks and they did not disappoint! They were hot & crunchy. I ordered their oriental salad. It was good! I don't know what those little crunch things are called, but the gave the salad oomph! The dressing was good too. It complemented the sliced almonds, chicken, and lettuce. Mom had chicken parm over pasta. She loved it! Our meal was great. Our server was attentive and I felt comfortable. This is a nice spot!

The sign that does not say there is a time to NOT call for pick up. Yet I was spoken to like I was an idiot. Not nice!

Oh my goodness. I ordered dinner for 4 people to pick up through Door Dash. I called to let them know I was here because there is a sign in the parking. Kelly answered the phone and acted like I was an idiot and was extremely snarky for my not knowing that they do not carry it out after 9pm. This is not on the sign at all. When I said I apologize I just followed the sign, she replied "mmhmm" rudely. I asked if my food was ready so I can come in, she was even ruder and said "I don't know I will have to check" I tried to remain friendly and then she said I can go check and hung up on me! What was the point in that? I don't even know what the food tastes like today. It doesn't matter. These are the type of workers that prevent an establishment from being a reliable go to for pick up dinner. Service is everything.

This applebee's has been my saving grace. I'm living in a hotel not too far from this location. And days when I don't want to cook, they have some pretty appetizing meals on the go. I go for the 2 for $20. I could eat a meal that day and save the other for lunch at work. Really appreciative of the free delivery and excellent service.

The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, with plenty of TVs around to catch whatever game is on. The food was good--not out of this world, but definitely solid. I had a half salad along with a 9" ham and pineapple pizza, and it was a TON of food! The salad was loaded with toppings, and I will say the crust on the pizza was really good. Service was just okay. My waiter checked in a couple of times and was friendly enough, but didn't really go above and beyond. Nothing bad by any means, just pretty standard service. Overall, I'd probably give the food and experience 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding it up to 4 stars because of the convenience, clean atmosphere, and location.

They also have a variety of other restaurant style offerings which is nice if you are not in the mood for pizza. One thing that kept catching my eye on their screens was their "New Buffalo Shrimp" might have to come back to try them! We picked up a deep dish, which is the Double Dish on their menu, along with a Pizza Roll, which is a smaller version of their calzone. Both were just what we wanted. They tasted great and we plan to come back again when we are in the mood for pizza. If you are planning to dine in, the place does tend to get a little loud but there are also several screens on showing games as well! Come check em out!

I would prefer a restaurant with a bar than a bar with a restaurant. The servers and host are accommodating, know the menu and you could not improve there. The green chile chicken stew is my favorite item . The stew has cubed potatoes, tomato, chicken and lots of flavor. It comes with a warm soft thick tortilla perfect for submerging. Approximately $8.00. The burger comes with a variety of add ons like avocado, variety of cheeses, served with a brioche bun and fries, fruit or onion rings. About $15.00 The items on the burger were top notch. I asked for a medium -well and I got my the patty over-cooked , curved and I could tell the meat was good quality - but it was destroyed. The Cesare wrap , about $17.00 has top grade quality chicken , romaine lettuce , very little dressing, Parmesan cheese rolled up in a big soft tortilla. The problem was, all the ingredients were in sections. One corner has all the cheese, another corner has all the chicken and the middle has the romaine lettuce. It was not mixed and placed in. So, it was dry. All the ingredients are of good quality but because I didn't bring a bowl to the airport, overall , I did not enjoy , specially for $17.00. The loaded fries - just crispy tender fries with cheese and bacon. This is absolutely incredible. The onion rings are good. But it needs something more. They are crispy outside, a little greasy mostly from the moisture of the onion. They are not bad if you like onion rings, but the French fries are so much better. I asked for fresh fruit with my Cesare wrap and they were not separated. I got melon juice soggy tortilla. The quesadillas are incredible. Fresh grilled tortilla, with lots of melted cheese , chicken and bacon. Good portion, but I want more . Absolutely wonderful. If you order the burger medium rare, then it will be much better.

Too bad too because there were several we wanted to get. We ended up tasting four beers. The Bock was ok, and the Stout was pretty good. I had a pint each of the Blue Corn Lager and the Irish Red, while my wife had two pints of the Irish Red. Both were quite good. Had I had another, I would've ordered the Stout. The one knock on the place was the service. It was friendly enough. There just wasn't enough of it. Every time we needed something, it was around a 10-min wait in line. To order, to close out, etc. Not really because it was overly crowded. It just took a really long time for those in front of us to be helped by the one person tending bar at the time. Oh well. The beer was good and not overpriced. Even though the alcohol content wasn't too high, it hit the spot.

To put it succinctly: you do not want to go to this Buffalo Wild Wings. The other one star reviews on Yelp for this location are absolutely accurate. 1. The place is filthy. We arrived around 19:00 / 7:00 PM on a Saturday night. The dining room looked like it had been hit by a blast of some sort, almost every table was crowded with items that should have been bussed hours ago. We were told to sit in the back area. We wiped down a high top and sat down. 2. When told to sit in the bar area, a younger, hefty guy with a mustache yelled across the dining room at us, where we standing by the door. 3. The server was clearly overwhelmed. This place is woefully understaffed. 4. One of our sides was a side salad with the vinaigrette dressing. They brought out a teaspoon of the dressing in the cup, saying they were out, and they were going to make some more. After making more, the new dressing looked nothing like the old dressing and it was clearly sweet onion dressing. No dressing was going to bring life back into the wilted mess that they claimed to be a garden salad. We sent it back. 5. We had ordered boneless wings as an appetizer, they came after the entree after I reminded someone (not our server) that we ordered boneless wings. 6. The server stopped by once to check on us after the food came out about 30 minutes after it was ordered. I asked for a second beer. It never arrived. 7. The beer cheese cheesesteak has a "gone through the meat grinder" vibe to it and it was burned 8. There was a disheveled woman dressed in BWW clothing walking around with a cup of soup for no less than 10 minutes. Pity the soul that ended up with the soup. When server arrived I said, "we'd like to pay the check, please take off the salad". He did, however, no itemized receipt at all, so I did the mathematics in my head. I then asked for the second beer that never arrived to be removed from my check, he did that too, again the total went down but I never received an itemized check. This place is miserable. I don't know if it fits the vibe of Albuquerque or what, because I'm not from Albuquerque, but I have to think that the folks of this city deserve better than whatever this is suppose to be.
