I would like to file a complaint regarding Kevin, the new manager. My experience with him was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. When I asked for the contact information of someone above him so I could address my concerns, he refused to provide it. I also attempted to call the store, and instead of handling the situation professionally, he repeatedly hung up the phone. My family and I have been loyal customers of this location for approximately 15-20 years, and this was by far the worst customer service experience we have ever had. I believe this matter should be reviewed by upper management, as Kevin's behavior did not reflect the level of professionalism and respect customers should expect. read more

Iced tea was OK, the state tip salad meat was way overcooked and nothing special with the greens or the vinaigrette that came with it. My burger was very good except for the thick slice of onion and thick slice of tomato and a bun that disintegrated completely. I was picking up the meat with my bare fingers or using a fork and a knife to finish the meal. Like I said, the ambience is great too bad the food does not measure up to the great beams along the ceiling. We went to eat at the Longhorn steakhouse by COTTONWOOD Mall. On.4/26/26 we waited 40 minutes to be seated . That was ok ! Our waitress was Sarah. Sarah took our order and then later our food was brought out to us. The order was wrong and she brought additional items that we never ordered. Brought someone else order and wrong food to us on two of the plate items. We understand nobody's perfect we all make mistakes. The food was great. But the service from Sarah was the worst it could be. After our order was brought to us. Sarah never came back . We asked her if she could bring us steak sauce and a few other items when the order was delivered. Sara stated yes but never returned with any of it. We took turns looking for Sarah to get the condiments and water refills we requested. Terrible service. Other waitresses passed by and brought us the condiments that we needed. They even came and refilled our waters. We were celebrating a birthday. We had given Sarah, the cake & she put it in the refrigerator till after we ate. We asked Sarah to bring us the cake. She did and brought us 8 dirty small plates. All of the 8 plates were unwashed soiled with food on them . Sara left the disgusting dirty plates on the table with potato peeling, many plates had slight food on them . It was as if Sara had taken the dishes out of the pile of dirty dishes. The plates definitely were never washed. When Sarah returned to bring us the silverware, we gave her the dirty they plates back and told her that we already had paper plates. We are here on a Friday night last month and it was pretty busy. There was an issue with waiting because they had our wrong phone number in the system. We only knew about the issue because we had ask how many others were in front of us due to seeing other parties get a table. Apparently this could have been an issue this night because there was someone complaining about being passed up when we were being sat. My girlfriend also heard of someone else complaining about them not having the correct phone number. Factoring the wait time out, we had a great evening. We were sat in a large both for the two of us. The salad we got with our entrees were surprisingly good. The onion was tasty, but they do not provide enough sauce for the large portion size of the plate. We had to ask for more sauce which was no problem and came quickly. Our steaks were well cooked and make sure you get grilled onions and mushrooms with your ribeye because it's the perfect pairing with the juicy steak. My wife had the salmon. It was undercooked. She only ate a few bites. There were 6 people in our party. By the time my wife was able to tell the waitress about it the rest of us were just about finished with our meals. The waitress offered to have it replaced or recooked. She didn't want to have the rest of us wait because they don't know how to cook Salman. Nothing was taken off the bill even though she ate only a few bites around the edges. A reasonably nice atmosphere with fantastic service and perfectly good food at prices that are way lower than what what you'd pay for the same thing at the frou-frou walk-up-to-the-counter place in the food court at the nearby mall. Your food is cooked to order, is plentiful and tasty. Your sides are varied and customizable. Your servers are genuinely friendly, smiling and attentive (your drink will never go empty). My wife and I Went to Linghirn Steakhouse for her Birthday Dinner! My steak which was a TBone came out good. Hers on the other hand; came out terrible! Her steak which was also a TBone came out at least 60% Fat and Gristle. When she asked to speak to the manager Alex; Alex came over with a non Chalant attitude as if we were bothering her. When we showed her the steak and all the gristle; Her excuse was that they don't cut their steaks in house! I did say usually TBones aren't usually that fatty. Never been to a Longhorn Steakhouse but we gave this one a try. Seated right away on Thursday night at 5:00pm. The restaurant is well decorated and clean. A Longhorn Steer looks down from above the bar and adds a nice touch to the overall experience. We ordered a bottle of the house Pinot Grigio and it was excellent. Our entrees consisted of the Chop Steak medium with a Sweet Potato, a Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries and the Chicken Parmesan with asparagus and a sweet potato. Bam everything was delicious. My outlaw ribeye steak was beautifully cooked and presented with a loaded baked potato, and this is following a house salad without croutons and thousand Island dressing. My spouse had a medium flows fillet. She enjoyed that and she got a broccoli as her side, which she commented on as not top-notch maybe two garlicky, she had a strawberry salad upgrade which she took home half and gave to her son And his wife. Alyssa was our server and she had a cheery bright attitude did a good job and she was responsive to our request. I have to admit the weak reviews on this restaurant kept me from coming in. I was WOWED! Immediately greeted upon entry, we were seated in a lovely large booth. Inside decor is warm and thematic. It felt very comfortable and stylish, Shortly after being seated, our gentle waitstaff greeted us. Drinks and bread (the bread was weakest link on the entire experience ) brought promptly. I ordered the filet, my husband got the chopped steak. We each asked for a side salad, expecting something small and wimpy we instead recurved a rather large, very fresh and delicious salad. The asparagus and mashed potatoes were fine. The asparagus had some sort of lemon sauce on it. The sweet potato with cinnamon sugar and butter was good, but slightly under baked. The macaroni and cheese had some hickory smoked bacon that overtook the dish, way too overpowering. Entered a dimly lit store and was seated promptly. Our server came by to take our order, Shrimp & Lobster Chowder for an appetizer. Our entrees were NY Strip - rare, fire grilled corn on the cob & Caesar Salad. Plus the Flo's Filet, broccoli & salad. The chowder was excellent, loaded with shrimp. Our salads soon followed and entrees came just as we finished the salads. The NY Strip was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Fire Grilled corn was loaded with seasonings and covered with crema. Went last night for a double birthday dinner. Our server Diana started out great but then she got busy. Our steaks were terrible. We ordered medium but they came out med rare. We got them and my daughter and I didn't check them right away since we were getting the kids plates ready and still working on our salads. We sent the kids steak back and the recook was done correctly. my daughter started cutting into hers and was more rare. I cut into mine and took two bites and it was still rare at one side. Our server came and asked if we needed anything and we told her about our steaks my daughter asked just for hers to be discounted half since she ate half and she sent a manager over and the manager acted like we were bothering her. I showed her my stake and she goes. I get it and said that was a a Longhorn medium, which they should put that in the menu that their mediums are more medium rare we hadn't eaten there for around two years to the fact last time we went it was horrible. We had a gift card to use so we decided to give it another try this morning. We woke up and we're all feeling nauseous so I don't know if it was something of the salad or the meat we will never ever return again to the fact that the manager was not compassionate or helpful. We were a party of 4, 3 of us arrived and were ready to order drinks even for the fourth person. Nope, we had to wait. Then we were seated and told that we had to have a food order in within 10 minutes. They said an appetizer would suffice. We felt rushed, we barely had time to look over the menu and that impacted our evening out. It was not prime dinner hour, we were there between 4 and 4:15. The service was not great. I visited here for my belated birthday dinner, on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Accompanying me were my wife and son. They were packed when we walked in, but we only waited 20 minutes to be seated. Our server was Patricio T. and he did a great job with suggestions and taking our order. We ordered the Texas Tonion ($8.99), Longhorn's version of the Bloomin' Onion, by Outback. The deep-fried onion petals came out individually, and the fried batter tasted dry and overwhelmed the delicate onion. The side sauce clashed with the onion and tasted just bland. For my drink, I had the Tito's Texas Tea ($8.99), Longhorn's take on a Long Island iced tea. The sweet and sour were perfectly balanced, and this cocktail was light and refreshing. Perfect for a hot summer's day with Tito's vodka. My main entree included soft sauteed onions, steakhouse mac and cheese with applewood smoked bacon bits, and a twelve-ounce New York strip steak, cooked medium well ($32.56). Unfortunately, my steak came out well done, but still tasted bold with all the spices they used grilling it. The mac and cheese with bacon really tasted great and those mushrooms stole the show. I loved the pairing of the steak and mushrooms. Overall, this steakhouse ranked higher than Outback or Texas Roadhouse. A very pleasant experience, but I would skip the Tonion. Went in for Grandmas B-Day. Restaurant was steady. Server brought out our salad/soup and appetizer quickly. Then trouble came after waiting almost 1 hour for our steaks and baked potato's. We were in formed that an oven went out and they couldn't do one of the baked potato's. After retrieving our entrees I immediately noticed that my Ribeye was cold I informed the server she assured me that she would get another one made. Shopping at the Coors-By-Pass stores and decided to grab dinner at this Longhorn Steakhouse, hadn't been to Longhorn in more than 5 years but it was readily available. The waitress "confused our order", which I don't understand. If you're confused about a clearly articulated and simple order, then you should confirm it. So we got one dinner, not 2, so waited 15+ minutes for the second dinner. The dinner came out medium well, not medium and we had to return it, waited another 20 minutes and the baked potatoes were room temp @ best. You could see the waiters walking in circles in the kitchen, but it was difficult to get anyone because they wouldn't come out to the dining area. The grade of meat is not acceptable to me, so the salad, shrimp appetizer and lobster tail had to suffice. The manager did comp one meal, but was off-putting, interrupting, acted like it was our fault that their restaurant is failing, lacked overall respect and her apology lacked sincerity. We were seated after 5 mins- hostess had vanished without telling anybody. The culinary manager who was getting done with shift actually stopped to acknowledge and seat us. Our appetizer wings were great, however my medium well ribeye was severely underdone with burnt edges. After working around the edges the middle of steak was bright red. Server came and had my half eaten steak thrown back on grill which burned the outside edges even more but at least got steak up to medium. Table next to us had to return 2 steaks uneaten that was cooked wrong. Not a strong showing. The picture doesn't do justice to how undercooked it was. We went to long horn steak house on April 26th 2025. It was my birthday dinner. It was the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. got there at 4:30 with a group of people to be seated. We didn't get seated till 5:30. We than waited 30 minutes for the waitress to come and ask for our drinks. She finally got our order in about45 minutes later. It took a whole hour before we got our food. When we finally got our food my husband was eating his steak and as he was eating two pieces of hair was in his mouth after her took some bites he pulled out hair out of his mouth. My steak was not cooked correctly like I asked for. I got medium rare and I asked for well done. This is by far the worst experience I had at any restaurant the waitress was very inattentive.
