We came after a funeral. We got sat in a section that the host didn't tell the waiter. However, this was the only hiccup. The service from our waiter Rich was top tier and definitely makes us want to come back. The food is always outstanding. We got the stuffed mushrooms, outlaw ribeye and I got some wine. After bad customer service earlier in the day, this was a breath of fresh air and it was much appreciated.

We are here on a Friday night last month and it was pretty busy. There was an issue with waiting because they had our wrong phone number in the system. We only knew about the issue because we had ask how many others were in front of us due to seeing other parties get a table. Apparently this could have been an issue this night because there was someone complaining about being passed up when we were being sat. My girlfriend also heard of someone else complaining about them not having the correct phone number. Factoring the wait time out, we had a great evening. We were sat in a large both for the two of us. The salad we got with our entrees were surprisingly good. The onion was tasty, but they do not provide enough sauce for the large portion size of the plate. We had to ask for more sauce which was no problem and came quickly. Our steaks were well cooked and make sure you get grilled onions and mushrooms with your ribeye because it's the perfect pairing with the juicy steak. Our server was very attentive and we have no complaints. Aside from the waiting for our table issue, everything was spot on. We would come back here again.

The manager was very kind and attentive. As soon as we arrived, the manager made sure a server came to help us right away. Our server Hannah was also friendly and professional. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back

Lunchtime view from a booth here sure beats what you see in a food court or a strip mall place.

I can't speak to supper, but this is a solid lunchtime value. A reasonably nice atmosphere with fantastic service and perfectly good food at prices that are way lower than what what you'd pay for the same thing at the frou-frou walk-up-to-the-counter place in the food court at the nearby mall. Your food is cooked to order, is plentiful and tasty. Your sides are varied and customizable. Your servers are genuinely friendly, smiling and attentive (your drink will never go empty). And the tab is lower than it would be nearly anywhere these days. I am NOT a fan of chain restaurants, but I'll be heading back to LongHorn Steakhouse for their lunch specials.

    All fat and gristle! Terrible!

My wife and I Went to Linghirn Steakhouse for her Birthday Dinner! My steak which was a TBone came out good. Hers on the other hand; came out terrible! Her steak which was also a TBone came out at least 60% Fat and Gristle. When she asked to speak to the manager Alex; Alex came over with a non Chalant attitude as if we were bothering her. When we showed her the steak and all the gristle; Her excuse was that they don't cut their steaks in house! I did say usually TBones aren't usually that fatty. She didn't say anything she walked away and as she was walking away said I'm sorry. No comp, a half hearted apology, and no discount! We will not be going back! This used to be one of our favorite steak houses. No wonder they are down to 3 Stars on Yelp. The managers dismissal type of attitude was terrible! Perhaps the regional manager needs to provide them training on customer service! Unsatisfactory Period!

I love this location. I tend to come here 2 times a week and get a porter house steak. It's always so tender and flavorful. The service is good and everytime I sit at the bar I have excellent service, a little better than if I sit at a table. The location is always busy but most times I'm alone so I get seated quickly or sit at the bar. This place isn't loud but normal for the amount of people that are there. Place is clean easy the bathrooms. I would recommend this location.

Never been to a Longhorn Steakhouse but we gave this one a try. Seated right away on Thursday night at 5:00pm. The restaurant is well decorated and clean. A Longhorn Steer looks down from above the bar and adds a nice touch to the overall experience. We ordered a bottle of the house Pinot Grigio and it was excellent. Our entrees consisted of the Chop Steak medium with a Sweet Potato, a Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries and the Chicken Parmesan with asparagus and a sweet potato. Bam everything was delicious. Our waitress Monique was outstanding and the kitchen manager Skyler came out to check on everything. No question we'll be back. Bravo Longhorn Bravo

I have to admit the weak reviews on this restaurant kept me from coming in. I was WOWED! Immediately greeted upon entry, we were seated in a lovely large booth. Inside decor is warm and thematic. It felt very comfortable and stylish, Shortly after being seated, our gentle waitstaff greeted us. Drinks and bread (the bread was weakest link on the entire experience ) brought promptly. I ordered the filet, my husband got the chopped steak. We each asked for a side salad, expecting something small and wimpy we instead recurved a rather large, very fresh and delicious salad. Our entrees were perfectly cooked and tasty. I had broccoli (perfectly steamed- not crunchy and not soggy) and my husband had a baked potato. Again, I was pleasantly surprised after avoiding this steak house over some others close by. I am now anxiously awaiting my next craving for beef! Kudos Longhorn steakhouse!!!!

Sunday night dinner out. There was no wait, and seated immediately, but waited more than 10 minutes to be approached by a server. We got our ice teas and then the warm wheat bread on a plank with butter. The stuffed mushrooms with parmigiana cheese were gooey delicious. The filet was large, but lacked flavor. The asparagus and mashed potatoes were fine. The asparagus had some sort of lemon sauce on it. The sweet potato with cinnamon sugar and butter was good, but slightly under baked. The macaroni and cheese had some hickory smoked bacon that overtook the dish, way too overpowering. The breaded shrimp with tri colored peppers was a large potion with ranch dressing, but does not carry well. I needed to be completed there before it became soggy. It was a decent dinner , but not in any rush to go back.

Well smoked, dang flavorful BBQ from da ABQ Slow Smoked BBQ truckie dude!!…read more Brisket Sammie came loaded to toppling high with carne rich in smokiness & melt on your tongue tender texture. Hugeness of portion!!!! BBQ sauce brought a nice punchy kick to the tower o' meat sammie. Only demerit was lack of much bark on the meat in my sandwich. Buddy's sliced brisket sandwich, which was equally massive, showed *lots* of bark. So if you're a Barky BBQ Boi, sliced brisket will be your jam from ABQ Slow Smoked BBQ as opposed to the chopped brisket that seems to be the default brisket sandwich filling. BBQ beans were on par with the sandwich. Multiple varieties of beans swimming in a semi-sweet & tangy sauce. Shreds of smoked meat added their pungence to the mix. A dish that makes eating your veggies mighty tasty!! Pickled veggies, particularly the carrots, offered bright clean taste to counterbalance the pungence of the meat & beans. Hit up this mobile emporium of tastiness at Marble Heights Brewpub or anywhere else around town they might be spotted. Well worth the price of admission!

How has this food truck not been reviewed yet??…read more I'll be honest, I have been burned by bbq food trucks before. But there's just something about them that every time I see them, I have to try it. We were heading to Costco, ready to lunch on a hotdog when we saw the food truck in the parking lot (closer to the sports store). The smoker attached to truck, the charming way the menu was laid out and with two people already in line, it was calling to me. The two people in line were munching on a beef rib that I'm sure he gave to them to try during the wait. The guy closest to me...the meat looked so juicy. So I said to him "man that looks so good" and all he could muster was a shake of his head, like "you have no idea". The first guy ordered and really was insistent on paying more money...(he wanted drinks but they were included in the sandwich price so he was like, well fine then, let me buy two more waters). The guy who I talked to about the rib? When he gets to the window, he said he wanted one of everything! Yeeeees. I have a hard time not ordering nachos anytime I come across them, so I got the nachos with brisket and the picky eater got the brisket sandwich with coleslaw for the side. When he took a bite, he said it was "damn good." Pretty good review from the picky eater. The sandwich also came with pickles, and pickled onions, carrots and a jalapeño, all of which were amazing. Perfectly crunchy and sour. The nachos were great, made even better by the pickled veggies (cause I stole those from him). And the bbq sauce with the brisket was just perfect. We stood in the line under the hot sun and it was tooooootally worth it. I overheard him tell one of the customers that he tries to get out to that spot at least twice a week.

A bit of a drive, but worth it if you are looking for tried and true barbecue with a great view…read more Lots of free parking. No waiting at around 1pm on a Saturday. We were seated and got drinks quickly. I got a half rack of pork ribs with a side salad and coleslaw, and the person I was with got a full rack with coleslaw and mac and cheese. The side salad was good, and came before the meal. A variety of dressings were available and was served on the side. The coleslaw was the creamy kind (instead of vinegar) and was good as well. The ribs were tender and generously sized. Even with the half rack I ended up taking some home. I wasn't a huge fan of the bbq sauce served on the side but they had a great rub on them so they didn't really need sauce. They also had a full drink menu, complete with local beers and 30 oz margaritas. Overall, a hearty lunch in a great location.

The texture was excellent, though the brisket itself was slightly cooler than I would have preferred. It may have been because how cold it was inside the restaurant that day. The sausages were a highlight for me. They were flavorful. If you prefer your meat more lightly seasoned, you might find it a bit salty, but I personally enjoyed the bold flavor. Their homemade bread was soft with a subtle sweetness, but it just wasn't as fresh as I had expected. I would probably stick with the complimentary bread on my next visit. I would definitely recommend the baked potato. I wouldn't recommend the fries or the beans.

I personally found that the price/value for the amount and quality of food Nomad's bbq provides is well worth it. I had a pulled pork sandwich (plus a bit of brisket and the 2 sides that I couldn't resist trying to save for my next meal) and thought the meat was smokey, jiving and so scrumptious...and this is coming from someone who normally doesn't eat so much meat like myself!
