Perfect spot to go watch some sports and wait on your movie to begin at the nearby AMC theater that shares the same parking lot. We went here on a saturday evening right before we went to see a movie and it was a good spot to go. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The service was better than the food and drinks. The drinks were not very expensive, but they were of average quality. The food was not expensive at all and it is the typical fair that you get at an Applebee's restaurant. Overall, it is a solid version of the franchise and we will continue to go here before we head to our movies. read more

Went for dinner on Saturday evening. Seated quickly and had an attentive server. Ordered 2 for $20 (Riblets and chicken pasta)with BBQ wings appetizer, separate Brisket quesadilla appetizer, and chicken wrap. After about 25 minutes waitress said apps would be out shortly. A few minutes later our entree's were delivered and still not appetizers. As for food quality chicken wraps were cold and sent back and taken off the bill. The rest of the food is decent. We went here while we were traveling because we got an email coupon. We went pretty far out of our way to get here. Took forever and forgot my drink. No drink kind of ruins a meal. We also never received the text message we were supposed to. I tried something new and it was pretty decent. It's so crazy to me that Applebee's, not just this location, can't get an order 100% correct. Is that really so difficult? My meals are wrong more often than they're correct. read more

I was happy to see this Applebees location while passing through town between Chicago and Detroit, because my local Applebees back home had closed down. But unfortunately this visit didn't live up to the quality meals I remember. I started with Bonelss wings, which had significantly more sauce than you typically see. Pouring on sauce is rarely a good sign, and more often a reflection of chef who wither isn't confident or is working with inferior product. I think both were the case here. This is the first time I have had boneless wings where the chicken wasn't hot. Half the pieces were slightly warm, and the other half tasked it about room temperature. This was really bizarre. I had planned to get the ribs, but after experiencing the wings figured I would be safer with chicken tenders. They were...okay. Certainly not high quality, but they were at least edible and the honey mustard sauce was nice. The first were also good. Not hot, bit good. My server was nice and friendly, but not what I would call attentive. A completely empty beverage throug most of my meal, and nowhere in sight to even ask for a refill. Fortunately I checked in on help and the appetizer was free, so at least I wasted less money than I could have. Ok,now I remember why I haven't been to an Applebee's in years. I was staying in one of the new hotels a block away. Convenient! Hostess was very pLeasant and engaged in small talk on the way to the table. Server was there quick. I ordered the chicken tenders with Caesar salad side and cup of soup. It normally comes with fries and cole slaw. I asked for the soup first. She brought out the salad first. It was huge. I asked if it was the side salad. "Oh yes-our sides are very large" Now comes the "cup" of soup that looks like a bowl. Chicken tenders arrive with fries and cole slaw. I say "what is this? I ordered 2 other sides. Oh she says"we must have a miscommunication" Why yes we do! I start eating the soup as a manager comes over. She is less than empathetic. The soup was good. The salad was ok. The tenders were not good. I didn't eat the fries or slaw. I need to obviously work on my communication skills and also remember never to go into another Applebee's. read more

I was very happy over the weekend to get great service at this Applebee's. Both the managers and wait staff were very nice. It was really hot outside and my kids were tired and hungry. We got our drinks fast, the manager brought over some oreo cookies to keep them busy and out food arrived very quickly. It's a chain restaurant so the food is going to be the same 9 times out of 10. But when you get friendly and prompt service. It makes the food taste better. read more

On my way here I was warned by a co-worker that the food wasn't very good, but I knew of some favorites of mine, so I came anyway. VERY disappointed. Food was pretty average. However the service I've received the last couple times has been mediocre. Our server seemed to be too busy with other tables to tend to us. She kept walking past our table when our card was to pay the tab, and then decided that sweeping the floor was more important. Dirty plates sat on the table, and our drinks remained empty. Waited 10 minutes until she finally picked it up-- sadly I'm not exaggerating. We arrived after a long day of driving and were starving. They promptly seated us and we ate heartily. I can't say that the food was great, it was the same as any other Applebee's menu. It was prepared just as we had asked. The building itself was a bit older, but I liked the decor. We got out of a party bus and were told we "couldn't be served." Out of a group of 6 there was one drink requested they wouldn't serve 1 Blue Moon. Tim from management refused to serve us. We ordered lots of food and left because they wouldn't serve us. read more

I sure wish I could put a 5-star on this restaurant, but it's just not quite there yet. We got there at 6 PM on a Saturday and of course it was packed. Still we were seated right away, and the waitress walked by and said that she would be back in a moment, (that's great). We ordered our drinks and told her that we needed some time, but was necessary for us to leave by 7:40 to be at our concert at 8 PM. My beer was fine and my wife had a $5 house margarita, which was huge and very good. She ordered the boneless chicken wings, nachos, etc. and it was 'way too much food for her. The wings were supposed to be "mild", and she ate only two of those, so I finished the rest--surely was not mild, or I don't want to see the "hot" one's. I had a classic burger, which could qualify as a top burger, but it was cold and though ordered to be medium, it was too pink on the inside; very tasty burger, but lacked perfection. The fries were good. So, not seeing our waitress for awhile, at 7:40, we tried to pay our bill using the IPod at our table, and the screen would not come on. The battery must have died. Our waitress was participating in a happy birthday song across the room, so we are panicking. We finally got her over to our table, and she told us that they have new batteries ordered, (that's not our problem), so she took our credit card, and we did just get in our concert seats on time. I'm giving them all, cooks, waitress and establishment, a break, as they were very full up and busy. Still, that's not our problem, so I can't give them a 5, at least for now. 4-stars. read more

This particular Applebee's just feels dirty. Everything on the table feels sticky and a couple of our menus had food smeared in them. I can't comment on the food because we left without ordering. It's been years since I visited an Applebee's and this was a perfect evening meal while on the road traveling. I was pleasantly surprised to see a refreshed menu with lots of great options. We had taco queso & chips, brisket tacos, and the quesadilla burger plus some drinks specials. All were very good. And best of all - service was great, attentive, warm, welcoming, and personable.
