The service was great even for having a party of 25 on a Monday afternoon at lunch. There were a few regulars that were seated around us. It is your typical Applebees with the typical decor. We ordered a triple play appetizer or whatever their term for it is. The Parmesan boneless wings were good along with the pickle fries. My wife ate the wontons. We both ordered the shrimp and Parmesan sirloin. The shrimp are so tiny. Kind of like they are canned. The steak was low grade but cooked to order. The main dishes were subpar but the appetizer was good. If we go back I'd probably order chicken or just stick to the appetizers. read more

I've never walked out of a restaurant more than this one without dining. Is this a bad Applebee's? No. You just can't dine here certain days after 9PM when it's half priced appetizers, as if you have more than one person, you will have at least a half hour wait. Are you coming here anytime other than late night? You will probably be fine. This Applebee's hasn't been able to handle large numbers of people since at least 2020 and Bloomsburg also has a lack of sit-down dining options after 10PM. Applebee's Bloomsburg is easy to find being directly off of Route 11 and it usually has enough parking unless you go for half priced appetizers. Service and food are generally good. They offer bartop seating in the middle of the restaurant. Overall, as long as you don't hope to dine here for half priced appetizers on certain days, you should have a decent experience. read more

We went out to dinner at the Bloomsburg location. The waitress and hostess were very nice. BUT the food was horrendous. We got boneless wings as an appetizer- I think they were overfried chicken nuggets. Then I got chicken parm - it had a weird crusty stuff on it that was hard and couldn't be easily removed - this was on top the breading. I didn't eat any of it - I did bring it home but threw it away. We always liked Applebees but this experience was just gross. We won't be going back again. read more

We were the only ones here when we arrived. It took about 10 minutes for our server to arrived but once she did, she was delightful and so sweet. The nacho appetizer was absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken was moist on the inside but the outside was a little chewy. Mashed potatoes were okay. Broccoli had good flavor but was all mushy and brown in a lot of spots. The quesadilla burger oozed grease. Order medium and it came out more on the rare side. Flavor was good though. Fries had great flavor and were nice and crispy. read more

Haven't been to an Applebees in a while but decided to stop. Ordered French Onion soup which was about the worst I've ever had.. Food was bland but just OK. Came here for 1/2 priced apps and $1 drinks for my 21st birthday. I was not disappointed! The food and drinks came out quickly, and service was spectacular. I got the chicken wonton tacos, and they were so delicious. They had a good amount of chicken in them, and the sauce was sweet with an asian feel. I had 2 of the strawberry dollaritas, but I could've had more. Not only were they only a buck, but they were sweet and great tasting as well! Fantastic service. Tyrell was a literal angel sent from heaven above. Had our orders memorized like he'd known us his whole life. He was born with a natural passion for restaurant bussing. There are some cool waitstaff and fun bartenders at this location. That being said: if you're looking to spend over five years regularly patronizing an establishment with a party greater than six, spending and facilitating thousands of dollars in additional revenue, be sure not to expect appreciation. I hear The Capital on Main Street and Quaker Steak & Lube would love your business though. read more

Went in tonight with a friend we ended up ordering two drinks from the bar. Ended up getting them after we got our food. Waiter didn't come by much at all. Finally when we go the food my friend order a cheese burger with some pink came out with way to much pink and so greasy it was disgusting. I order the all you can eat wings they tasted like the fryer grease was a year old I ended up asking for another order took another 20 minutes to get and tasted horrible. Overall a horrible experience all around and have been customers for years. Will not go there again. read more

I've been to other Applebees and usually I was very satisfied.....not at this one. For starters, my wife ordered two margaritas before looking at the price. $8.50 each. Are you kidding me? They weren't even that good. The Caesar salad was a mix of romaine and iceberg lettuces (should be all romaine) , and the dressing was tasteless. My 6 oz. steak was about two ounces of gristle. One of the "newer" additions to Bloomsburg's dining scene, Applebee's offers a familiar and comfortable place to bring mom & dad during college visits, particularly if they'll be picking up the tab! In addition to the usual menu items to choose from when dining under parental largesse, they offer a 2/$20 or 2/$25 meal deal that's attractive to students on a first or second date -- just flip to the back page of the menu to find them. A ring of TVs surround the bar, featuring various ESPN channels. Unfortunately, however, the sound on them is muted and the bartender hasn't set up the CC options on the sets, forcing you to listen to your table companion throughout the meal. If the bar is too noisy (which can happen during headline games), the dining area around the bar is separated by clear glass panels, making it easier to hear your date (if that's what you're into). Lighting is nice and dim, making your date more attractive -- however, the lighting was so dim that it hampered taking photos of the food, so no photos to post of mozzerella sticks, beef stir fry, grilled sirloin steaks, or baby back ribs. :-( Nevertheless, the food matched the photos in the menu, and the wood-fired meats had a delicious post-smoke flavor. Staff is friendly and attentive, regardless whether you're dining as alums or undergrads - and best of all, they're open late! Definitely four stars. read more

Not only did it take forever to get our food. But it came out cold, my quesadilla burger lacked flavor as if it wasn't seasoned at all. The fries were cold. My mom whom was does celebrate Good Friday was informed she can have the potato skin soup just remove the bacon. Which much to her disliking, they still put bacon in the soup. To top it all off our waitress wasn't friendly by all means and didn't seem to care enough about her job to begin with. Extremely AWFUL waiter named Matt S. Did not put in my order at the same time as the rest of the party I was with even though he took the whole order at the same time. The rest of my party got their meals before I was even told mine never got put in. The waiter did not apologize or even make an effort to. I went there with one of my friends for her b-day and the union rings weren't the best, the milkshakes were really messy and got everywhere, and they gave us a lot a food and no one got to finished with the food. This place is a disaster! They are only allowing a few people in the restaurant (bc of COVID) so even though there are a bunch of open tables there is a wait for lunch and dinner to get in. Portions keep getting smaller, prices keep rising! Quality is definitely not there for the price you pay. Good portion of the food is just heated up and not cooked fresh. I don't come here often and todays visit reminded me why. Ribs were extremely dried out. They put the wrong sauce on my ribs and the table and computer pay thing were dirty and gross.
