Me and my fiance were the first customers in the restaurant, we got our drinks and our appetizers but it took them about 40 minutes to come and take our order, while others around us were already getting their order taken. we got mozzarella sticks for our appetizers and they were actually pretty good. we finally got our food after about another 30 minutes and it was just ok, just not very tasty. it was time to pay and my fiance was paying with cash and it took about 15 minutes for the waitress to bring us our change. the staff was nice but everything just took too long. we were there for almost 2 hours. read more

Filthy! Started with a dirty diaper on the sidewalk next to the doorway. Then seated at a booth where the table was sticky and had food bits stuck on it. When I asked the server if he could clean the table he said "Oh, it's clean. It just feels sticky from the cleaner we use on the tables." YUCK! Final straw was the pile of wet nasty towels on the floor a few feet from our table. Clearly no one was cleaning it up and gos knows what they were soaking up! Yuck! Yuck! We walked out. Second time we got seated 6 months apart or so, after sitting there for 10-15 minutes no service to even order drinks. A group of us went there for lunch on Monday 1-5-2026. We sat there for some time without anyone serving us. When asked, they advised they would try to get someone to wait on us. Another 15 + minutes went by, when asked again they said there weren't enough servers to wait on us. Our group of 10 left. How this location is still in business is beyond me. Mediocre food, worse service. They often have their kids there though, babysitting them. They get served. read more

I have not been to an Applebee's in over a year, because I've been living in Beluze, so I made sure to find one on our trip to AL. It did not disappoint! I had the zombie drink I've seen on commercials while we shared their yummy won ton tacos and also the new chicken bacon ranch sandwich, which was fantastic! He had a cheeseburger. July 9 ordered a curbside service for 3 pm . Arrived 3.03pm. Curbside Signs have no numbers no contact protocol. Called their business number informed them I was outside for curbside pickup. They told me we don't have a curbside person today, didn't tell me that when they took my large 10 person meal pickup or my payment and tip.Told me I had to come in to get it. I went inside and found 3 workers interacting around the kitchen door and bar laughing and smiling, but not one of them could curbside deliver my order. It's my family of 5 weekly date night. We arrived at 5:50 on Thursday evening, Oct 23, 2025. Our waiter was nice but hard to in understand and he mumbled. We ordered our food, an Oriental salad & salmon, mashed potatoes and broccoli (no broccoli but substituted grn beans) tea and an Old-fashioned cocktail. It took 30 min for the cocktail to reach the table. Our food was on the table at 6:49. That was just a minute shy of an hour to be served. 2 tables were served before us. It wasn't crowded but they did appear short handed. The hostess was greeting, seating and waiting tables. My apologies to the waiter but by that time, I was pretty darn irritated. He did give us a 10% employee discount but really, it did nothing to improve my mood. I left a minimal tip. Applebees should realize their employees depend upon those tips and when the entire machine is not running smoothly, it's going to affect the last person in the chain. The food was highlighted on the 2 for $25 menu so you would think those menu items should all be available and prepped to pop into the oven, fryer, broiler or whatever for quick delivery to the table. Normally, this is my go-to restaurant when I'm working out of town but never have I had to wait so long for a drink and a meal. Get it together, Applebee's! read more

Our server was good. Food was decent. I waited about 15 to 20 minutes for my Perfect Margarita only for it to have fruit flies in it....... I watched the bartender and I know I got the bottom of the bottle........but....ewwww. my chicken tenders and fries were good. No complaints there. Let's talk about the building. OMG. If I were not with a group, I would have turned around and walked out. It is dusty. It is moldy. Walking through the front doors, there needs repairs. Beware. Like several other reviews we are surprised it's still open. Our experience was very poor. Arrived at 3 pm. Happy hour is 3-6. We asked if we could sit at the bar and was told yes, sit where we wanted at the bar. After 10 minutes, the manager sent the girl from the hostess stand to wait on us. We had reviewed the happy hour menu and ordered an old fashioned which was on the menu. The manager spoke up and said they don't have old fashioned on happy hour. We pointed out to her where the menu said they do. She said the menu is messed up and only 3 different drinks are on happy hour. So we left. No customer service at this Applebees. read more

Can't rate the food but honestly I'm glad I can't! Upon walking in two groups 6ppl total were waiting to be seated as the hostess frantically cleaned tables. My husband went to restroom as I waited she sat the other two groups but never said a word to me just hustled off. So I took that opportunity to use to use restroom won't even get into that! Walking that way 5 tables were just stacked with dirty dishes. This didn't look like a they just got up and left sitting there. Meet the husband tell him let's just sit at the bar. When I came back out sat at bar everything was sticky and smelled sour. The bartender which I'm certain was manager never greeted until I finally asked "hey can we sit here?" Got a sure he tossed some menus asked what we wanted to drink then walked off not making the 2 margaritas just went to end of bar and stood there. I gave it 5 minutes then we were out. We ordered food in and normally its quite qood but my fish and chips seemed to be overly brown and dried out, old oil. Coleslaw had an off smell and tasted putrid. french onion soup was ok. Great service. My husband and I went there for dinner. We sat at the bar, the bartender was extremely pleasant very attentive. We shared the very large appetizer which was absolutely delicious and I forgot to take a picture of that. Then we shared the chicken Alfredo and the dessert of donuts with caramel and chocolate all very good. Now with the Alfredo, the sauce on it was scarce so I ended up getting extra Alfredo sauce for $1.25 and it was very a lot so they did not disappoint. The Alfredo was homemade and it was delicious. My party walked in with 6 people, 3 adults and 3 kids. We told the young lady at the door that we needed a table for 6. She proceeded to seat us at a table for 4. After explaining that we couldn't physically fit at a 4 person table she pointed to the other side of the restaurant and we walked ourselves to a bigger table which we assumed she meant. After 5 minutes the young lady who was seating people at the door came over to take our order. She approached the table and said, "what y'all ordering?" We gave her drink orders as we hadn't decided on what our main course was going to be at this point. We ordered Sierra Mist sodas for the 3 kids and 3 adult beverages. She took the order and returned with 3 flat sodas and then told us she couldn't take alcoholic orders, this was after she took our alcoholic orders. After about 20 mins our actual server came over and re-took our drink orders. We tried to explain that the First Lady already took them but she insisted that she wasn't supposed to. We ordered our food at 920pm. At 1017pm we asked to speak to a manager and was told that she was pregnant and having contractions. Our food came out about 10 mins after that interaction. Our children's food was cold and the chicken was salty. This was our first time in Foley Alabama and the First restaurant we had after arriving. There were approximately 22 people in the restaurant and they weren't busy. WE WILL NEVER EAT HERE EVER AGAIN AND WILL ENSURE WE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM DISPLAYED AT THIS APPLEBEES RESTAURANT. read more

Terrible service, terrible food, and the fact they dare operate a ghost kitchen delivery service is appalling!

This restaurant is a running joke with locals. We want it to be good because Applebees is good everywhere else & the prices slap. But you have to try really hard to make a restaurant experience as bad as this one. We joke about how long it's going to take for someone to realize we are there. How long is too long to wait for a $3 Long Island iced tea? They will answer that question for you. On one occasion I noticed literally every single table in the restaurant had dirty dishes on it, as if no one had bussed a table all day. I had to move aside a previous customer's plate to sit down at the bar. I really wish someone would get this place straight because I'm pulling for good times at my neighborhood Applebees. read more

I had lunch today I usually like Applebees but not this store. Our waitress was awesome person and the food was fair but not good. But I walked in and the floors were sticky so was the table, then I went to the bathroom and it smells like pee, like I have never smelled before. I have been in busy men's rooms in truck stops that smelled better. Then the exterior windows were in desperate need of cleaning. You could barely see outside very disturbing. The interior looked like it could use a good cleaning. There is no excuse for dirty in the restaurant business. As a result I will never go back. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. This is sheer laziness cutting corners. Close the store and let a real restaurateur take over. Then leaving the parking lot there was a pothole in the lot that would break an axel easily not to mention a tire and rim. My wife visited there a couple of weeks ago and was appalled at the filth. There were live insects on the window sills, cobwebs on the table lights, rust and black mold on the a/c vents, water stains on the ceiling tiles. And this is just what we could see. So until there is some major cleanup by the owners we won't be going back. Oh, the waitress stated that I had a discount coming since I was a veteran. Got the bill... no discount. This place is horrible. I can't believe people eat here. The waiters handed us our menus and stood there while we looked asking if we knew what we wanted before we had a chance to look at the menu. Ordered sweet teas and said we needed a minute. She brought back unsweetened tea but claimed it was sweet but the manager would only let them put so much sugar in and other people have complained about this too. We asked if we could have some sugar to sweeten it ourselves and she said no we only have big bags. Lmao. Wow Proceed to get our food and everything is pretty much tasteless. The broccoli was good but you can't mess up broccoli is guess. The bacon Mac and cheese tasted like plain boiled noodles. Absolutely disgusting. The strawberry lemonade tasted like water with a hint of strawberry flavor. A complete waste of 40.00 and I did leave a tip although I shouldn't have. April 11, 2022. Visited this Applebee's and it was awful. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and I would need a magnifying glass to find the cheese and chicken. I was served 2 crispy flour tortillas held together by a tiny amount of cheese in the middle. My friend ordered the appetizer platter and everything was cold. We sat in the bar and the bartender was completely indifferent to what we were served. She wasn't rude, just oblivious to customers. I won't be returning to this location. read more

Where do I start on this wonderful evening..... got here 4:45 on a Saturday... to 5 cars in the parking lot ... when to get the table they told us 15 minutes. I was like ok cool ... then that turned into 45 minutes then it turned into an hour .... So we all finally get our table . And the waitress tells the table next to us that they were sorry about the 30 minute wait for there salad ,she explained that the cook quit .. My husband and I went here for a date night. We had a very nice server but wasn't very attentive. Not sure if he was just really busy and had a hard time tending to us or what. I ordered the new brisket tacos and was pretty disappointed how unfilled they were. In the picture it looked like a full taco and when I got it on my plate it was barely anything. Going to pay for our meal was a bit difficult. Knowing that our server probably was busy doing things we decided to use the electronic piece to pay. We had a giftcard but it wouldnt let us use it. This is a good place to eat,everything we have had is good but we dont go out to eat as often so.we havent been here for a while.. anyway tonight I wanted to go as they have added fajitas to their menu ,chicken,shrimp and sirloin..and those pictures looked great,yeh I know the food never looks like the pictures..in this case it was close, I had the chicken..it came with sour cream, cheese, pico, lettuce ,guacamole and 4 flour tortillas, I ate one as I had had 4 mozzarella sticks..I was hungry tonight..
