We had 10+ people so it was definitely not a worry to hit that minimum. It was ready for us when we got there at 5 & we had the room booked for 5-7! We had 2 babies in our group too so it was nice to have the separate room where it was a bit quieter and didn't scare the kids at all. Everyone was having a hard time choosing what to eat because everything on the menu sounded so good. They have Pepsi products so I had a Pepsi and ordered the bbq brisket Mac and cheese. It was pretty good. The portion size was huge and it was more than enough for 2 meals so I definitely took half home. The leftovers weren't as good at home. The server was very nice. Very quick and checked on us the right amount of times. I would like to come back here for the normal dining experience :)

For drinks I had a dirty Shirley and my friend has the Long Island. I didn't care for the dirty Shirley, too syrupy, That's just my opinion. My friend liked her Long Island. For dinner I got the steak frites, great value for $22, steak, French fries, roasted brussel sprouts, and a salad. This would cost me $60 in Scottsdale AZ. There was so much food I couldn't finish it. It is downtown Grand Rapids so parking is on the street in a meter or a parking lot across the street for $12.

To drink I had Founders Mortal Bloom, one of my absolute favorite IPAs and he had Founders Mahou. It was decent, but I should have tried it before my beer, his was basically flavorless after the super hoppy IPA. But he was happy! For lunch I had the Pickleback Chicken and omg was it delicious! It was so tender and moist. Everything about it was perfection. Of course I had the fries (they will always crack fries iykyk). He had the Cowboy burger - which is the same as the Rodeo Burger but without the cheese sauce covering the bun. Which I think would be good but SO MESSY. The Cowboy burger was great and he really enjoyed it. Upgraded to Killer Mac for a side and we both liked it. The mosaic wall is impressive and I like the beer labels in the bathroom. The whole place was fun and had a great vibe. And parking is easy compared to the one in downtown GR.

You can eat, drink, and play golf - you can do it all or you can do just one. However, if you plan on playing golf / using a simulator bay, you should call or go online and make a reservation. It gets busy there. I love that they have seasonal cocktails. They had some special ones for st Patrick's day. They also have happy hour M-F from 2-6pm. I booked a bay, it charges per 30 min. The hour was $65. I had one cocktail. I got a briefing on the system and I was on my way to playing a very difficult golf course in South Korea. They have club upgrades but I stuck with the standard bag. I had a great time. Next time I will choose an easier golf course! Also, I believe the server calculates their tip not only on what you buy but also your bay time. So I'll review my check a little closer next time. The sell golf gloves if you need one/forgot yours. There is a small parking lot next to the building or you can park on the street or garage nearby. Bathrooms are on all levels. Fun place. I'll be back.

When I tried to order an espresso martini, he said, "We don't have espresso but I could make you a coffee martini, but please don't make me go and make coffee for you". I've been on the receiving end of late night orders that cause you to dirty up appliances you have shut down for the night, but this order was at 9:30 pm and they closed at midnight. I decided not to order it since he stated he didn't want to make it for me and decided on a mocktail since my choice of cocktail was vetoed. I understand his response if it was close to closing time and I also wouldn't have ordered that close to closing time. I ended up getting a mocktail called the "Midwest Fog" and it was unique and tasted good but my partner and I were taken aback and annoyed over our encounter and treatment.

Note that they give a small discount if you pay in cash. Bob's Sports Bar is a low key neighborhood hangout spot to watch a game or catch up with friends. They have Keno, pull tabs, Chambongs, and daily food and drink specials. There's plenty of free street parking nearby and they have a designated parking lot across the street.
