Worse Applebee's we have ever been to. My husband and I both retired from the military and even traveled across North America in an RV and stopped at an Applebee's everywhere we went but none were this bad...EVER! Our food was so overcooked.i had a grilled cheeseburger and fries, my husband had chicken tenders and fries. (went for lunch). Burger was like sawdust and fries were so mushy. The chicken tenders were so hard and dry. They attempted to re-do the order but by this time we were so over it. We had waited so long that we ate our appetizer and went home. This was after the renovations and it wasn't any better. This was the 2nd time we tried this Applebee's and it was definitely the last. Foods good, staff aren't lol. They suck. We got Togo, forgot my fries and gave like a quarter of a bowl full of cheese less french onion it ain't worth the 2.50 upcharge. We had a very nice experience there and Asia made it all the more better. I had the Tex mex shrimp bowl which was outstanding and hubby had a cheeseburger....one of the best he's had. I've gone here a few times and service is not great and cooks frequently get orders wrong. Today we ordered from Uber eats and when we got our food there was no salad (but the ranch dressing was there) and both steaks were well done (ordered medium rare). Also both steaks were the thinnest piece of meat I have ever seen at a restaurant and not the usual quality of the restaurant at all. Not sure what was going on but was really disappointed in the food and was not worth the money at all. I wouldn't have paid half of that for a thin overdone steak. read more

My hubby and I are regulars as we think Applebee's has THE best classic boneless chicken wings in town. We typically get the "2 for $29" steaks which comes with our choice of the boneless wings, mashed potatoes, and veggie of choice. We sit at the bar and the services is great. I hate to post this because it is a good place to eat. Went last night...could not sit where I wanted near a window. Okay we sat on opposite side. We sat for 20 min before we good any attention. The server taking care of the table next to ours. Asked if she could get us our drinks,said our server was Kyla and she was talking to someone. Racist establishment! My son and I attempted to eat here, the white servers walked pass us, made us wait 10 minutes before sending a young black man to ask us to wait in the waiting area for a table. Another 10 minutes passes by, a white family walks into the restaurant as my son and I are still waiting, the white servers rush to accommodate them and they are immediately seated. I realized what was going on, so my son and I left the restaurant. We were halfway home before we got a text that a table was free (I should have mentioned that the restaurant was pretty empty). I kindly replied "no thank you, you guys are racist" and continued on my way home. I wouldn't trust the staff with my food after that type of behavior is clearly being exhibited. I had a $50 gift card. I used it once and the bill was $33.63, left a cash tip, the total left on the card was $16.37. That's what the receipt said. Second time I went to applebees they told me the balance was only $6.00, what happened to the other $10.37. Did some get a better tip than they should have. OK. First off, let me say I have become a huge fan of the Applebee's lunch special. Two columns, pick two, three prices. I haven't gotten anything from either column that I didn't like. I'm not a huge fan of this type of chain, but I really like their lunches. That said, I stopped in with a coworker between meetings. We arrived around 1:00. I had a 2:00 meeting. I figured there would be plenty of time. We were seated quickly. Our drinks arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Our server was nice. Then the wait started. 1:10 passed. Still no food. 1:20 passed. Still no food. Server said it would be out soon. 1:30 passed. I was starving and starting to feel woozy. 1:40 arrived. Still no food. I started complaining and told them it was ridiculous. Food finally arrived at about 1:45. When we arrived, I told the server I had a 2:00 meeting. Over the approximately 45 minutes it took to get food, I must have told her several times I had a meeting. I was disappointed that she didn't ask if I wanted to get my food to go or to even offer me a box. I ate as much as I could. Had to wait for a box. The manager did apologize and give us a $10.00 discount. My friend had pasta and salad. I had a half sandwich and pasta. Both of which should have taken about 10 to prepare. I would have perhaps been a little more understanding if every table was taken and the place was busting at the seams. The place was maybe 25% full and some wait staff were hanging around like they had nothing to do. Miserable, miserable experience. read more

Tawyna was horrible. Waited 30-40 minutes to place drink order. Was told she couldn't take my order before get refills for others. Waited another 15 minutes for the drinks and to place our food order. Watched others come in way after us and be served before we placed our order. When food finally arrived the riblets were tough over cooked and cold. The fries were good. The desert was good. Tawyna removed our sodas from the bill since she was so slow with the service. The Mt Dew was lacking on syrup anyways. Too little too late. Will never eat there again. Wasn't even crowded that night. I love Applebee's.. it warms my heart with glee. However, from time to time I don't dig it as much as I should. Sometimes I think for the prices I pay, the food should be a hair better. Now don't get a brotha wrong. I'm not asking for much. The table seated after me was served first and their server name was Jeff. I know his name only because I was jealous of the quality service the other table was given and the crappy server I had. When I complained to the MANAGER, his response was "I apologize for your experience" then he handed me the check. We are visiting this area and staying at a nearby hotel. It was a bit past the normal dinner time so when we arrived there was only a light crowd inside. We thought the service would be pretty fast and we were hungry. The guy at the front desk really seemed pretty bored with the whole thing and just showed us to a booth without much comment. Not a bad attitude just sort of "here we are take it or leave it" attitude. No problem for me but you would expect better. It turns out the seats in the booths are pretty well aged. Not dirty or torn but really worn out. So much that you feel like you are sitting a few inches too low and on boards. The server in that area was very pleasant, knew about the problem, and told us we would be better at a table. No problem, table was fine and new server was fine also. Two Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches and Fries. We both opted for ice water. Food preparation was a bit slow but not horrible. Server was pretty attentive the whole time so at least we knew we were not forgotten or invisible. Considering what we ordered and the light crowd it should have been faster. Fries were good. Cheese Steaks had the onion mixed in with the meat instead of layered on top. Couldn't even taste or find the onions but they assured us they were there. The toasted roll was fine but the meat was pretty bland with not much flavor at all. Same with the cheese. Anyway, the fries were great and the server was great. The place could sure use an upgrade. I guess we were lucky and found it pretty clean. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. That is always a plus. Three stars because of the server, fries and clean bathrooms but we are eating elsewhere for the next few nights. read more

I really wish I could go negative here. I will never return to this location again. They sat our group and did not give us silverware. We put in our drink order and it took almost 20 mins for 3 of the 4 of us to get our alcoholic drinks. The last person didn't get their drink until he finished his dinner. All of the drinks were horrible. The waiter was nice but inattentive and didn't get my order correct. Our food was brought in spurts by random people and the good was lackluster at best. I asked to speak with a manager but was told that he was too busy expediting in the kitchen. He finally came out but apparently decided that talking by to us wasn't important. He passed our table over 4 times and never had the decency to stop and address any of our concerns. I paid full price for everything and was never offered anything to compensate us. Chains start at 3 stars for me. The one star loss comes on the 10 minute wait between us being seated and a waiter coming to get drink orders, and the very sad presentation on my mom's dish. I ordered the thai shrimp salad, which was actually pretty good. The dressing is a little spicy, had decent flavor, but was applied to liberally. My mom got a salmon entree, that looked so pathetic on those weird outdated muted green dishes they use. Bleh, not appetizing. read more
