The food at this Applebee's is pretty good and it's a great location for me and my girlfriend due to the proximity of our home; however,I was disappointed that this Applebee's has smoking and I find it hard to enjoy my food when others are smoking around me and it's getting in my face and my food. My burger was pretty good as burgers are really hard to mess up but my girlfriends fettuccine wasn't very good and she had to take it back. We got a little bit of pushback from the waiter but ultimately they took care of it. I probably won't be returning to this location. read more

Smells of cigarette smoke pretty bad. Waiter was young and pretty inexperienced. I will probably never go back to that Applebee's.

I don't even know where to begin. I ordered a blue moon and the American Classic burger with grilled onions cook medium well. After almost thirty minutes and finishing my beer the burger finally arrived. It had about three cups of raw onion on the burger! Three cups, I kid not. As I was scraping some of the onions off the waitress named lacy said "you wanted onions on it and you got onions." Yeah I got a lot of onion, but I got a total of nine fries and a burger so small it would be a whata junior at whataburger. So I left with a bill of 35 dollars and still hungry. read more

Had the chance to dine in on a Tuesday night, with Taylor was our server, me and my boyfriend were her only table for a good 15 minutes of us getting there, she then gets another two person table. We start off asking her for two waters, and two house salad, then two kinds of beers. She then proceeds to go to her other table(that just had walked in) and greet them, she forgets about our waters, and then brings our salads out...and we still don't have our beers on our table that we had asked for, let alone our waters as well. I hold off on ordering food until my boyfriends food comes to the table, 1:10 am, the kitchen still has 50 minutes until they close, I tell her I would like the spinach dip as my meal. She repeats it back to me, so I know she knew what I ordered, she then walks up to the host stand and starts talking to the manager on duty. 15 minutes pass by and I still don't have my meal, then she comes to our table and asks if we need anything, I say I would like another beer before last call, it 1:27 am, she says yes. She then goes to her only other table and asks if they needed anything else, one of the guests says "I actually wanted more shrimp", she says "our kitchen is closed now" then the other guests says "can I get some more water?" While she was standing at the host stand with the manager, 1. She hadn't rang in my food, 2. her other table hadn't had water for at least 10 minutes 3. that same table had wanted more food. My boyfriend had asked for a Togo box, she then brings that, and the check...my dinner isn't on the check, so what do you get out of this? My boyfriend and I are both servers in down town, so we know what it's like. But to not be busy, and can't even handle the two tables that a waitress has, I was in shock. Well i try not to eat at main stream places cuz it usually crap food...well i was not disappointed...applebees is the same crap food like usual. Service is mediocre. I ordered the chicken and shrimp with roasted red potatoes and onions and mushrooms. Well first off the potatoes were scarce and over cooked. The mushrooms were like 3 maybe that i found. And usually most mainstream places add too much onions not here it was like everything else hardly any. As for the chicken and shrimp it was waaaaayyyy to salty. One part of good food is that you dont have to hide it behind salty seasonings if you know how to cook food. I understand im not going to a chef place but damn make the food halfway decent. And for the price ot wasn't worth it....so after my hard day at work of a 13 hour work day trying to relax it was not relaxing!! read more

Worst drinks ever! My friend and I ordered a mojito an apple martini both were way to strong and definitely didn't taste right. The best drink we had was a margarita swirl. It was a shame that the food wasn't great either. My friends and I haven't been back since. read more

This location is the grossest location that I've ever been to. The smell of smoke is prominent as soon as you enter and there are people actively smoking at the bar. Sitting down, the booth was sticky and so was the table. The menu we were handed had rips and was coated in a sticky film. Waiter was great. Ordered the side salad (good), mozzarella sticks (good), and Wonton Tacos (not very good--I've eaten these at other locations and they are my favorite thing to eat, but these were not good). Never thought I would write a 4 star review for an undercooked steak, but the management was exceptional. I didn't even make a comment about the food, but the waitress noticed I didn't eat much and questioned me if I enjoyed the food. I explained that my steak was undercooked, but not a big deal. She got the manager, apologized, and I was fully refunded. This location ate $17.99, just to earn my business back which will be worth far more than $17.99. Was out shopping and there was an applebee's right near by and of course i stopped because applebee's is very good. Right when you walked in the first two doors, not even the restaurant it smelt a burning smokey smell, got into the restaurant and it got stronger, i turned to my boyfriend and said "this smells like smoke" looked over to the bar and people are smoking and it SMELLED THE WHOLE RESTAURANT. very hungry and so decided to stay and we sat in the booth for 7 minutes before someone got our drink order, 3 people walked by us and no one stopped so we continued to wait. already annoyed someone finally came over got our drinks, it was 2 waters and $1 drink special. When the water arrived it had black specs in it and it was a dirty cup. it took another 4 minutes and then another 4 minutes for her to come back over and get our food order. Our appetizer salads came out and we sat here trying to look for someone to get us silverware. The salad plates had bbq sauce on the bottom and rim of the plates, such a turn off to eat off of. The steaks came out and they were great but the mashed potatoes and broccoli were cold. couldn't find a waitress to get A1 sauce because we were 3/4 done with our food. I have been a server for 7 years and never experienced worse dining. Will not be back, changed my view of applebees. read more

Why do they still have smoking??? It's gross!!! Who wants to sit in smoke and eat?? Even the Waffle House across the street is non smoking. GROSS!!! Will never be back... Didn't even try the food because the smell of smoke knocks you out when you enter the building. Any reputable restaurant is non smoking.... Get with the times! read more

I would just like to formally apologize for being an inconvenience to the staff of Applebee's. To the manager who never once did a curiosity check in the hour we were there, to the bartender who refused to take my drink order and to my waiter who very tactfully ignored us until it was time to collect on our check. Not a fan of smoking in restaurant - as soon as we walked in the smoke smell smacks you in the face

Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! I felt like I was eating at Chuck E Cheese. There was kid in the bar area that was running back and forth and yelling! I asked for the manager and he had the nerve to ask me if I had kids of my own. I told him that yes I do and I would never, ever like them act like that. He said he wasn't sure what he should do and I said, "you're the manager aren't you". COMPLETE NONSENSE!!!! Get a manager over the age of 22 please who knows how to manage his employees and please his customers!!!! read more

I will start out with the service and food. My server Chasity was excellent. She new the menu and was able to answer my questions. She kept my iced tea full and was always checking on me. As for the food, it was normal Applebee's quality, good. Now you may ask why the 1 star rating. This must be the last restaurant where they allow smoking. They allow smoking in the bar area which permeates throughout the restaurant. I asked the manager about it. All he was able to do was apologize and say he would tell his boss. They need to do something about the smoke. It ruined my meal. I will not be back until they fix the problem. I wish I would have read the earlier posts regarding the smoke. JUST DIRTY! When we first got here I went into the bathroom and it was dirty. You can tell by the stains on the booths and the VERY OLD decore that it hadn't be updated in a long time. It looked like the managers and the wait staff was eatting their lunch right across from us. My salad came and it had frozen corn on it that was still frozen with cold tiny pieces of Cold steak! Not sure if all Applebee's are so run down but this one is . There are plenty of better places to eat then this one. read more

Greeter was very friendly, server helpful, friendly, checked on us frequently. food came out and my dinner partner got the ribs with the southern sauce. she mentioned to waitress that she didn't care for it and the manager offered us free dessert and when we declined that he gave us a $5.00 gift card. Then he came by and talked with us. My steak was cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back again. read more
