We visited on the weekend around 330 and they were decently busy for that time of day, so we waited a bit at the door to be seated, which is fine, however, several employees walked by us/looked our way while we were at the door and not one acknowledged us. Someone only spoke to us about 5 minutes after we arrived when we were taken to be seated. It was a bit cold where we were seated by the windows and the drive thru for takeout. It seemed like there was a draft coming from where the drive thru is located. Our waitress was very friendly and offered us recommendations. They had some good deals going on to making eating out more affordable such as the 2 for $25 deal. I also like that the menu states the calories next to the items. My daughter and I come here before tumbling practice around the corner often and have usually had great experiences. We love the appetizers!! I decided to try the new steak skillet. I ordered it medium rare knowing that the skillet cooks the meat when it's super hot and this usually gets it perfect. Unfortunately my steak came out already well done and just kept cooking and was tough as hell. I cut it up into strips looking for the center hoping the middle had maybe been medium rare....... Nope. It took quiet a while for the waiter to come back (I don't find this as his fault as he seemed to have a lot of tables for one guy as if someone called out) When he did come I told him. He said he's ask the manager what he could do. Came back and said "we can take 10% off the item" and then asked if I wanted it removed from the table. As this steak was inedible, I told him if I'm being forced to pay for it, and can't even get a new one re fried, I'll take it home for the dog. One day an item might be awesome, but the next it could be the exact opposite, and depending on who we get for a server or hostess, they can be quite rude. In the last 5 visits which were all within a couple months, I've had to send food back 3 times. Our last visit I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp, and the chicken came out undercooked to a point that it appeared raw. I sent it back and requested it be cooked longer, and it came back out in less than 2 mins. (Pretty sure they microwaved it). Typically I love this meal, but this particular time it tasted bland and the fries were very greasy and seemed as if they were cooked in old oil. Our waitress was very bland as well and did not seem to have an interest in us. It took me getting her attention to get a refill of my drink after waiting awhile. I hate to be so negative in a review, but it's frustrating that I used to thoroughly enjoy this place, but now I dread going here in anticipation that I may have to complain about something. My girlfriend tried to explain to her the order was wrong and that we were missing the chicken Alfredo which we were never charged for, and we were going to order another chicken Alfredo pay for it and come pick it up. simple right. before My girlfriend finish explaining to the Manager Amanda, Amanda cuts off my girlfriend and became very argumentative with my girlfriend to the point she was screaming at my girlfriend and hung up on her.
