My husband and I were visiting Montrose and decided to try the local speakeasy for a night out. We were greeted at the door immediately and was well taken care of the second we walked in. If you like whiskey, I would high recommend getting the Old Fashioned because they will bring the alcohol cart to where you're sitting and make the whole drink in front of you. Maybe a little bright for a basement bar, but unlike your traditional dive bar, it was sparkling clean, so it's not like the dark was required to hide the dirt you'd rather not see. It's conveniently located in town and near a few hiking trails. One of the times I went here I actually walked over after a hike. They have two outdoor patios, a back room, bar area, and front room... oh, and a bay window with more seating. This is a very popular spot for the locals. During the day it was very busy and a little noisy; I was glad there was outdoor space to eat as well. I tried their tea, burgers, chicken and fries. Everything I had here was delicious and fresh! I highly recommend it here. I can't wait to go back and stop in again. If you're looking for quality, fresh food, you should go here!
