The wait for a table wasn't long at all and the food came out quickly. We ordered the blue margarita and it was delicious! Very strong too, we walked it off after. I ordered the briskest Mac n cheese and it was prefect! Creamy and the meat was tender. Just packed with flavor! We also got the San Juan wings and they good too! Cooked perfectly and they were big wings! The food was amazing and so many options to choose from. We really loved the vibe of the place, chill and peaceful. This was a great stop during a 4x4 trip to have a break. The weather was wonderful and they have a HUGE outdoor area so it was perfect. The food was outstanding! The waitstaff was attentive and engaged and the owner, Amber, was so pleasant and welcoming. We love Packers! So much so we went for dinner each night of our trip, yes 4 nights in a row. When you find something you like, stick with it, right? Menu has something for everyone, patio seating is plentiful and the service is the absolute best. I loved the elk sausage brat and fish and chips. Great atmosphere! A bar that serves hot chocolate is the best! Ordered fish and chips as well as a broccoli cheddar cheese soup which is served in a cup, bowl, or bread bowl. We went here for dinner one night and enjoyed ourselves! They have plenty of outdoor dining with umbrellas for shade and rainy weather. The only knock I will give is that they overcharged us for a request that didn't actually happen, that's also on us for not noticing it until after. read more

What a perfect way to spend Labor Day evening after a day at the lake. Temp dropped drastically and the family just wanted a burger. Kids got and destroyed a rocky mountain burger. I got the bison burger which was so tender and moist. The brioche bun was perfection as well. My husband's cheese steak was okay, cooked very well I just didn't quite care for the flavor. Didn't have a ton of beer selection and mostly domestic with a few local. IPAs and amber with a few lagers. They had a few local selection. Overall, it was a great way to end the evening! read more

Came in on a road trip with my mom and we got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and the Rueben and I cannot begin to describe how good these were. This place was great! After a long day on the trails, we were looking for some grub before heading back to Creede. This place showed up on Yelp, so we thought we'd give it a try. It was my husband, myself, and our three kids. Despite a long wait list, we were seated quickly outside. The outside area was so fun, great atmosphere, and perfect weather. My husband got the Rueben, I got the brisket nachos, and our kids split mac and cheese and grilled cheese. They lit the fire while we were there, and our ten year old loved sitting by it. This review is based on not a one time experience but many experiences over a few years. I will start by say they do have really good drinks and the waitstaff is always very friendly & polite. But the food just isn't that good. More than once we've gotten wings that aren't cooked enough (still pink in the middle). More than once salads come out with wilting or brown lettuce. And jalapeños poppers that somehow come out super hot but the bacon around them is not thoroughly cooked. Just the other day we were in there and the table next to us sent their salad back for the same reasons above, so it's not just me. We will still go in to grab a drink from time to time when we're in Lake City. But unfortunately, after giving this place so many chances on the food and having at least one issue every time, I just won't order food there anymore. read more

Great food, wonderful patio, maybe the best casual restaurant in lake city! The pizzas, sandwiches, and sweet potato fries all get high remarks! Cocktails were good, Huckleberry Mule and Spicy Marg. Service was good, waitress was friendly and checked in often. For appetizer, got the poppers. The bacon and the pepper were raw, bacon unacceptably raw. Asked for them to cook more, and it came back basically the same, sent back again (waitress seemed super confused) and the manager I assume came by and said kinda rudely, "what do you want." We said just want it cooked, bacon is raw. To be clear I like bacon cooked any which way, this was totally translucent and zero color change from raw. Got it back a little crisped , cooked in some spots and still raw in others, so we just took them to go and actually cooked them at home haha. Fish n Chips were good, would order again. All in all, staff seemed on top of it and working hard. The weird "what do you want" comment and raw poppers was too much to give a good review. Will go back for cocktails, but prolly pass on food next time. This was not first visit, eaten here prolly ten times, but was first trip back in a few years. read more

I came here as a hiker from the Colorado trail. I liked that I was able to walk downtown and I walked right into this place. A lot of the restaurants were having issues at this time with keeping food in but whatever I ordered they had in stock. I ended up getting like a salad with some salmon and it was sufficient for what I wanted. The prices tend to be a little on the higher side but I think it's because it's hard to get food deliveries in here. Staff is also really young but that doesn't really matter they did their job great anyways. You could pay by cash or card and then come to your table to cash out. A lot of people also come here just for the bar. The outdoor space was really cool though you got a little cold at night even in the summer but they were places to sit around a campfire and I just enjoyed being able to be outside. read more
