Sooo yummy! Everyone's meals were so great. The wait staff was so much fun to interact with too. I would definitely recommend! Small town, cozy, sports bar vibes.

Solid choose for a restaurant when you are in Lake City. The Bavarian Pretzel is outstanding. Grear burgers and the brisket nachos were spot on. Good tap beer selection and great service. The place is a little too bright inside and could use a bit of ambiace. Worth a visit nonetheless.

This was a great stop during a 4x4 trip to have a break. The weather was wonderful and they have a HUGE outdoor area so it was perfect. I would say it could be tough on a bad weather day as the indoor seating is very limited. The food was great, portions were very generous, and service was fast. Will definitely return.

Here a shot of the outdoor seating area where you can see the beautiful mountains surrounding this small valley town

What a great little hole in the wall w such a great view! We shared the 7oz Colorado Angus burger and an order of the southwest rolls. Both were great! Josh was our server and did a great job! The southwest rolls comes w the house queso. Stop in and sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful mountain views

Enjoyed the ambiance. The food was good. LOVED their fries. The brisket Mac was tasty.

Great atmosphere! A bar that serves hot chocolate is the best! Ordered fish and chips as well as a broccoli cheddar cheese soup which is served in a cup, bowl, or bread bowl. Food was on point, the fish was crispy on the outside and flakey on the inside. The soup hit the spot! The hot chocolate with whipped cream was a nice break from the cold weather! Friendly owners, former Texans! Would definitely recommend this place while visiting this quaint lil town of lake city!

What a perfect way to spend Labor Day evening after a day at the lake. Temp dropped drastically and the family just wanted a burger. Kids got and destroyed a rocky mountain burger. I got the bison burger which was so tender and moist. The brioche bun was perfection as well. My husband's cheese steak was okay, cooked very well I just didn't quite care for the flavor. Didn't have a ton of beer selection and mostly domestic with a few local. IPAs and amber with a few lagers. They had a few local selection. Overall, it was a great way to end the evening!

Nice place, lots of outside seating, interior quite small. Nice people and service. We ended eating outside, a bit chilly and rainy, but could of been worse. Ordered fish tacos and bison burger. Burger was delicious but side was a bit scant. Fish tacos were good and plentiful, did care for the tortilla chips and salsa.

This place was great! After a long day on the trails, we were looking for some grub before heading back to Creede. This place showed up on Yelp, so we thought we'd give it a try. It was my husband, myself, and our three kids. Despite a long wait list, we were seated quickly outside. The outside area was so fun, great atmosphere, and perfect weather. My husband got the Rueben, I got the brisket nachos, and our kids split mac and cheese and grilled cheese. They lit the fire while we were there, and our ten year old loved sitting by it. Our waitress took care of us and kept our drinks full. We'll definitely come back the next time we're in Lake City and suggest it to friends who visit from Texas.

Food was terrific. Had a French Dip that was better than Arby's, lol. Atmosphere & vibe of the place was completely terrible for Lake City.

This is about as good as it gets in Gunnison, and that's saying quite a bit because there are…read moreseveral very nice restaurants here. The wine list is very nice, and you won't break the bank -- especially at happy hour, with two dollars off each glass of wine between 5 and 7 PM. We had the House Malbec, from Mendoza, Argentina, and it had a delicious flavor and aroma. It was a full bodied and smooth, dark red offering. For an appetizer, we had the Shishati grilled peppers with pesto/cilantro sauce, and they were just fantastic. They are mild, nicely grilled, and beautifully presented. It is served as an appetizer, but please be warned, one out of every nine peppers is exceedingly hot. We had about 12 peppers, and all of them were mild, so we beat the odds! I've had hamburgers all over the world, and I can honestly say I have not had a better cheeseburger than I got right here from the menu at Blackstock. It's in a traditional bun, lightly toasted, with tempura, onion, cracked pepper, mayo, Tabasco, candied and smoked bacon, and it is served with Hand-cut fries. You can add guacamole for a dollar, or blue cheese or Gruyere cheese for another dollar. But I did not add a thing; it was perfect as it came out of the kitchen for me! You will be asked how you want your hamburger cooked, and I chose medium. It could not have been better! It's on the menu at a very fair $21 including your hand-cut fries. My lovely dinner-date had the petite filet mignon, a 5-ounce offering of spectacular steak, served with goat cheese, potato croquettes, asparagus, stewed shallots, served with a Cabernet Demi glaze at $45. It was a large serving, I believe bigger than 5 ounces, because we are taking half of it home in a to-go box! Again, the food was spectacular... really good. We will finish with the flourless chocolate torte, serve with whipped cream and Amarina dark cherries at $11. If I was a betting man, I'd say you're gonna love this place! Take a few pictures, do what I did, and leave a review, because more people need to know the quality of food coming out of this little storefront on a busy street in Gunnison! And if you ask for Danielle, be advised, he's a great server and you will get exactly what you need! He's very attentive, and charming.

Got chicken quesadilla appetizer for the kids, 1/2 rack of ribs, and street tacos (one pulled pork, one grilled chicken, and one beer battered cod) with beans and cilantro rice. The service was kind and I picked it up on time. The orders were hand-written on the boxes. Inside the store was pretty standard for a Southwestern style casual dining restaurant. Dark walls, decent lighting. So as far as affordability...here's where it fell flat. I'll say, the food was all flavorful. If it was taste alone, it would be a 5 star. BUT... The street tacos were comparable in size to Del Taco's street tacos... so...not much. For the price point, not worth it. The "1/2 rack" of St. Louis Style Ribs had a total of 4 ribs. Like...would their 1/4 rack only have 2 ribs?? The best value item was the chicken quesadilla, but we paid extra to sub sour cream for the salsa (my kids can't handle "spice"), and it came in a SMALL condiment cup. Ultimately, we polished off our dinner and had to supplement everything with other foods. Which we'd be fine with except at the price we paid, anywhere else would have easily left us satisfied. Ultimately, it was good and people were kind, so it just amounts to a big sigh.
