I'm conflicted about my rating here. It's just an Applebees. The food was exactly what I expected. The service was okay. This Applebees is the poster child for mid-range chain restaurants. Then a young lady passed out on top of me. You would have thought it was a TV ER. I'm a first responder and since she was lying on me I could check vitals. A nearby diner was an EMT so I stepped back. The restaurant staff helped move people back, called 911, settled the young lady's friends in an adjacent booth, and generally provided excellent support. Everything turned out fine the young lady (nothing to eat all day). The restaurant staff and management responded well. An extra star for that. read more

Ordered chicken tenders and fries to be delivered. Fries were cold, tenders were dried out, and no honey mustard. I called the restaurant and the idiot waitress who ordered said "you didn't indicate you wanted honey mustard". I said the order says it comes with it. Then they and doordash give me a run around over who gives the refund. I had previously said I would never deal with them after a previous bad experience but I gave them another chance. They blew it. I will never deal with them or the tip stealing door dash again. read more

Called first to ask about NFL Sunday Ticket. State they have every 1pm game on. Not actually my "neighborhood bar", as it is a 30 minute drive. Arrive to find out that they do not have every game, due to lack of TVs. And refuse to change any stations. Freakin' clowns. read more

Received the worst service every on June 5th at 5:30 pm. Not yet busy. Seated immediately, waitress took order for appetizers and entrees (Shrimp loaded Fajitas and Steak loaded Fajitas). Then it all fell apart..brought entrees first but brought 1 shrimp and 1 chicken. Then tried to give us the appetizer but I sent that back since entree was already on table. Sat there for about 10 minutes looking at the shrimp Fajitas since no silverware. Waitress finally brought silverware and waited another 10 minutes for correct 2nd entree. Finally finished and the bill received with the appetizer still on the bill and also trying to charge us for 3 Fajitas meals including the chicken which we didnt order. Nit going back any time soon. Not even an apology for anything. Must hire Walmart rejects. read more

I did enjoy going there. When in tonight I was given a menu that was 4 by 5 and a 1/2 double sided. They couldn't even bother putting the prices on the menu, and when asked about that and the menu change I was told it's always been like this period was in there 2 weeks ago when they had a better temporary menu. I can understand the cove it situation however when you need a magnifying glass to look in a menu or towed while you can skew the scan this QR tag and see the menu online I think it's a waste a time period I did look at their menu online after I googled it, and it did not show prices read more

Oh my, this was a late dinner after a drive from DC. I had the big burger with the egg in it (sorry I forgot the name). It was big, messy, and delicious. Just what a burger should be. BAD EXPERIENCE AT APPLEBEES!!! It's my friends birthday and they took our group of 8 and then told up after we are seated we have to split up even though they knew the number before being seating.Another table had seven people seated at them as well. We had a good experience here the other night! All the staff was very friendly. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Food came out very fast and was hot and good! We were greeted with free kids meal coupons and brownie bite coupons. Will be back! read more

It's an Applebee's, not a gourmet restaurant. Based on my expectations for this fare, it's excellent. Food is always hot and consistent. We've always had wonderful waiters. Some even go above and beyond to help me with my diet restrictions. read more

To be honest the reason we go to Applebee's is because it's the only place in Prince Frederick that serves good bar food past 9:30 PM. The service is good, the food is consistent, although we have a tendency to stick with the simple dishes such as the steak or the salmon. We had the two for twenty and appetizer. The server Patrick was very good. The appetizer and dinner were served within a few minutes of each other. The Barbeque boneless wings were good. The sundries tomato penne was ok, chicken was dry noodles and sauce good. The chicken tenders were average and fries were cold. The bar was very rowdy with many people who had had too much to drink. Went to applebees last night. I ordered my steak med rare and got it med well. Ate it anyway, since I've seen "Waiting". About a 1/2 hour after I left...if that..I nearly shit myself in the middle of Wal-mart. I'm talking full on sweating, cramps, gotta walk fast while doing Lamaze (sp?) breathing type situation. Took approx 10 mins to get our bar drinks. Server blamed new bartender. Margarita was ordered rock salt, it was served in a martini glass, poured from a shaker and garnished with a lemon and olive. Wow!! Can honestly say I have never seen that. Still waiting for an actual Margarita to appear at our table. Pot stickers were very small but tasted fine however the dipping sauce was really not needed since there was so much oil floating at the top that the flavorful stuff at the bottom couldn't adhere to the sicker. I've been here a few times..... service not bad... food ok... but alcohol knowledge is very poor. Advertised signage is very misleading and you leave feeling cheated unless you're willing to be a nagging investigator to find out what the costs and deals are.... Sign says, "Domestic beers on tap, $3.50 during happy hour"... I wasn't so happy anymore to find I've been charged a healthy $5.25 for a Sam Adams!!! Oh, well that's not a domestic beer! the manager defends.... WTH?!... How domestic can you get by being Sam Adams?!!!... Just cause they are a bit more tasty than Bud and Coors does not make them non-domestic???!!! RIGHT?? And in my opinion aren't quite as good as a great craft beer... Just basically tired of how obvious it is that alot of these restaurants don't post alcohol products just to sucker you in to get them thinking they are charging you a regular price...You post your food prices, Applebees..... step up and price your drinks!! I've visited 5 times in the past two months and was pleased with the food and service each time. You can't beat the price, either.

After a bad experience with the last Carside-To-Go order where 3 9oz sirloins were ordered medium and came home rare, we decided to give them another try. This time, I sat in my car for 30 minutes waiting for my order. Once the clock hit 45 minutes from when I placed the order (quoted 20-25 on the phone), I went inside. Turns out my food was sitting chilling at the bar. Another frustrated patron ahead of me had the same issue. Why take my car description when you have no intention of coming out to the Carside-To-Go parking spot? To make things worse, when I got home, the steaks were well done and two things were missing, a salad and an order of fries. $85 for a family meal like this? This isn't baseball. Two strikes and you're out. Farewell Applebee's. Edit: I forgot to mention that while I was sitting in my car waiting, one of the cooks came out of the restaurant covered in silly string. He went to his car for a change of clothes. I hope that silly string didn't end up in the food. read more

My son and I had dinner and a few drinks here this evening. The service was very friendly and attentive. We both ordered steaks. The cut was very tender and the flavor was really good. They were cooked perfectly. This Applebee's is better than others that I have been to. read more

Ex employee here and sure the food is fine but the management is absolute trash. Everything is unfair and is set up in a way where no one can move up unless you kiss major a**. I was sexually harassed behind my back to other employees and made fun of having pimples on my face. This restaurant has an awful manager, Marco, and the general manager, Brian, is even worse. I tried filing a report on the sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior and he talked to me for about 10 minutes and said he would deal with it. I went to Applebees to visit some of the servers (which are AMAZING) and was told that Brian hadn't even been to the restaurant to investigate my accusations. I'm absolutely appalled with the way everything is run in there and how useless the management is to help with the most simple requests. I hope that they are able to fix their issues and not have more girls feel so demoralized after working there. read more

I was not impressed but for those who want to take the time to know why my story is as follows: It was Father's Day first off however the time was early around 12:45pm on a Sunday so not many people were there. We were happy we did not have to wait and things were going good until we sat down. After being seated we got our drinks and we're ready to order. We were told the items we wanted could not be served for example I wanted a baked potato and they did not serve that in the morning though it does not say that on there menu or website. There were other items we asked for and again we could not get them so we had to ask for more time to choose. Finally after choosing items we ordered another drink in which they could not serve because they did not know how to get the tap working again. So another item on the menu they boast to have but can't provide. On top of all of this it took them 45 minutes (I know because I wanted to see what time it was when I asked for a potato. It was 1pm) and we did not get our food until 1:46pm. Will not return. Father's Day was ruined. read more

I ordered from the Applebee's app, because my son was asleep in the car and figured it was the easiest route. I placed my order at 4:50 and was given an email receipt with a pick up time of 5:04, at 5:15 an employee comes out to my car and tells she thinks our food is ready but she'll go back in and check. 5:25 comes out with half my food and tells me she'll be back and she needed to make my sons milk shake that came with his dinner. Its 5:35 and I'm currently still sitting in the parking lot while other people and their orders come and go and I'm waiting for 1/2 an order i already paid for. The service was great. Not happy with the way the food came out. My sweet potatoes and green beans were cold. I did mention to the server and she offered to get me new food but I had a 2 1/2 and a 9 week old with me so waiting was not doable. After they eat it is time to go. I figured when the bill came maybe a discount would have been offered but that did not happen. My 2 1/2 year old grandson did not want to eat his shrimp so we figured he was full so we took it to go and later that night we decided to heat his shrimp up from earlier and realize they were terrible so we put them in the thrash. It's hard to write this review but when you go to a local county resturant and you are deliberately ignored waiting on your curb side to go its very rude. After waiting and being ignored I walked into the bar as the manager, and a waiter looked at me saying nothing. The worst part is the current manager at this Applebee's and waitor were the two individuals who ignored me when I had first pulled up waiting. They decided that their smoke break was currently more important at that time than to greet a paying customer. I have ran into this problem several times before but always gave them another chance to redeem themsleves. Well! I am always disappointed and let down every single time. I will no longer carry my busniess with this resturant, and will encourage others to do the same.
