Our server Jade was amazing. Great personality and keep up with a jammed pack restaurant. Now for the food... both side salads were old browning lettuce. The sides of sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes lacked flavor. The ribs were dry. The steak was ok. The restaurant was clean and service was very well for literally every parking spot and table being full. Texas Roadhouse has some of the best customer service in the area. Possibly the food suffered from the crowd.

How can you go wrong with this place, they do steak and they do it well. I had the ribeye which is always my preferred cut , it's marbled with fat which gives the surrounding meat a perfect level of tenderness. I can't ever have enough of mushrooms and onions , so the fact that my steak was completely entombed in onions and mushroom sent me to my happy place . Just go and try it out they do there main thing well !

Man, service was great!, our waitress was on it the whole time. My steak came out perfect, tender and juicy just how I like it. The fries were seasoned just right, not overcooked at all. That mango margarita was delicious! Only thing I didn't like was the bread -- it wasn't cooked all the way. Other than that, everything was really good!

I've never had a single bad experience at this Texas Roadhouse. I've tried a variety of dishes, and each visit has delivered top-notch customer service and consistently great food. When in doubt, you can always count on Texas Roadhouse to be a solid choice--and the endless rolls are the cherry on top. The restaurant is always spotless, which just adds to the overall excellent experience.

We've been talking about Texas Roadhouse for awhile and finally made time to go. We almost turned around when we saw the notice that there was no more bread. (*in unison* No more bread!?) Apparently, the oven was out of service. Wasn't expecting that at all. We were disappointed, but hungry, so we decided to dine in anyway. What we had: COMBO APPETIZER - boneless buffalo wings (mild; double) + loaded potato skins SANGRIA MARGARITA - sugar rim w/Patrón shot LONG ISLAND ICED TEA (not pictured) - all booze, no sugary stuff FRIED CATFISH PLATTER (4) w/ loaded mashed potatoes + Caesar salad 20oz. BONE-IN RIBEYE STEAK w/grilled shrimp + broccoli + seasoned rice Notes: PARKING - Lot SERVICE - Polite, helpful (Madison) OPTIONS - Suitable PRICE - Fair __ I eat. @f.hux I thrift. @DCthriftish

My five stars is not just for the food but the service as well! Our server, Erica was amazing, very attentive and personable ...I would go back off the strength of her kindness and professionalism. My family decided to have dinner out, as opposed to cooking and I'm glad we did .. I had the herb chicken with sautéed mushrooms and onions along with shrimp, seasoned rice and broccoli 10/10. Very flavorful, everything cooked perfectly and came out in a timely manner My mother and grandmother both had the salmon and they said it was enjoyable, just cooked a tad bit too long but that didn't interfere with the flavor profile. My brother ordered the country fried chicken and added shrimp and for his side, ordered rice 10/10 for him too Would I come back to this location, absolutely. Oh I did order the mango margarita, very good just not enough alcohol for me lol but still good!

Rare? According to LaPlata Texas Roadhouse cooks and managers... yes.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally got my chance. I got there around…read more2:00. It wasn't very busy, maybe two tables. Since I was alone, I just sat at the bar. It's a small restaurant in a shopping center very nicely decorated. My server Elmer greeted me right away with water and a menu. He explained that everything is homemade, even the desserts. The menu isn't huge, but it has a good variety across the board. I looked at the specials first l, I wish my wife had been with me because the salad special sounded great and we usually split one. The entrée specials also sounded really good. I was already thinking to myself I'd probably be back if this meal was solid. I usually order chicken parm when I go out for Italian, but I wanted to switch it up, so I went with the lasagna. Elmer told me I'd enjoy it and said the noodles and sauce were very good. Someone brought out bread with a garlic and oil mix. The bread was excellent crunchy outside, soft inside. The garlic and oil was good, but I'm more of a butter guy. I like a lot of butter on my bread, especially bread like that. When the lasagna came out, it looked amazing. The person who brought it asked if I wanted Parmesan cheese. I said no thanks I don't like changing the flavor unless I taste it first and feel like it needs it. First bite.....Excellent. The sauce had a lot of flavor, the noodles were tender, and there were a lot of layers had to be six or seven. Not like some places where you get three or four and mostly cheese. I ate the whole thing and used the bread to clean the plate. Elmer and the other servers kept checking in to see if I needed anything. I like seeing that kind of teamwork where everyone helps out, not just their own tables. Makes for a better experience and you're never waiting around if you need something. When I finished, Elmer asked if I wanted some of the "apple cobber." Funny thing -- when I first looked at the dessert menu, I noticed that typo and wondered if that was really the name. I asked him about it and he said it was a mistake and hadn't even noticed. I was surprised no one caught it before. I asked for the cobbler to go, but he actually recommended the tiramisu instead, so I took his suggestion. Later that evening I tried it and it was superb. Even my wife, who doesn't like coffee, liked the bite I gave her. While we were talking, Elmer gave me a sample of their espresso martini. I'm not big on cold coffee drinks, but it was actually pretty good. Definitely something I'd order there. Overall, one of the best Italian meals and service I've had and I'll definitely be back. I just wish it was closer to home if they opened up in Prince Frederick in Calvert County, I think they'd do great. Right now all we really have is Ledos Pizza

It's consistently tasty and well-seasoned, though a few times there were a few scales left on the skin. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. The vegetable side dishes tasted very fresh and complemented the meal nicely. We've had the food delivered or we picked it up.

You have to have reservations to dine in--even for the bar. I didn't dine in, I ordered takeout, which was superb and well worth the wait. Very nice place for a special day/date. I think this may be one of the best surf and turfs I've ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection, well the broccolini was a bit tough, I had to use a steak knife to cut it. Crab cake has Lino filling at all--I was so intrigued by it. I couldn't figure out how it was held together. This was my first visit, and I've been wowed. I'll go on record right now: this was the best restaurant crab dip I've ever had. It was the perfect amount of lump crab, just yummy goodness overload. That bread *chefs kiss* I could've made an entire meal out of that dip and been just as happy as a kid in the candy store lol. I ordered the fried seafood platter and swapped out the fries for a baked potato. Everything on the plate was delicious: the coleslaw, hush puppies, crab ball, oysters, fish, and shrimp. Both of my cousins ordered the surf and turf since they'd had it before and clearly loved it. After seeing them devour theirs, I know what I'm ordering next time. Overall, I had an amazing time. Our waitress, Sophie, was attentive and extremely personable.

It's the kind of sensory preview that makes you quicken your step. The restaurant is bookable via Resy, making it an easy choice for those looking to apply dining credits from American Express Gold or Platinum cards, always a welcome convenience when planning a night out. Despite being a weekday, the dining room was notably busy, buzzing with the energy of what feels like a family-run establishment. There's a warmth to the atmosphere, personal, lived-in, and authentic, that suggests a loyal local following. That said, it was clear the crowd may have slightly outpaced staffing levels. While the service itself was courteous and attentive, there were noticeable delays with drinks and refills, understandable, though worth mentioning. We started with the Southern Maryland Crab Dip, which delivered solid flavor and a generous blend of cheese and crab. I would have welcomed a bit more artichoke heart for balance, and perhaps an additional slice or two of bread. With only four slices provided, the ratio leaned heavily in favor of the dip, fortunate in abundance, but impractical in execution, as even those slices were quickly overwhelmed. The Chicken Kabob proved to be a reliable and satisfying choice, tender, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully plated. The accompanying sides of sautéed broccoli and grilled zucchini were properly portioned, with the zucchini sliced just thick enough to retain its texture and flavor. When deciding between the Makaronia Me Kima, Basil Pesto, Galazio Special Carbonara, and Pastitsio, I deferred to the waiter's recommendation. Without hesitation, he pointed to the Pastitsio, a choice that paid off. Comforting and familiar, it's a dish many have enjoyed in different forms without necessarily knowing its proper name. The portion was generous enough to leave me with leftovers, which made for an excellent lunch the following day. Dessert brought the evening to a high note with the Greek Chocolate Mousse Cake. Lighter than expected, it avoided the density often associated with chocolate desserts while still delivering richness and satisfaction. The portion was ample and easily shareable. Overall, it was a very good dining experience, welcoming, flavorful, and largely well-executed. One small disappointment, however, came in the form of a missed detail. When booking, the reservation notes requested acknowledgment of my GF's birthday, not a complimentary dessert or special treatment, just a simple candle to mark the occasion. Unfortunately, it went unnoticed. It's a minor thing in the grand scheme, but one that matters in moments meant to be remembered. Had I known it wouldn't be honored, I would have brought a candle myself. That aside, the experience was still a positive one. I would recommend the restaurant and expect to return. With just a bit more attention to the finer details, it could easily elevate itself from good to truly memorable.

I politely asked if I could sit at one of the two-top tables, but she said no because they were for reservations. I explained that I preferred not to sit at the bar. Looking back, I probably should have left then, but I was hungry, so I stayed. Once seated, I asked for the crab dip, only to find out they no longer had it. I then ordered the lamb chops, which I had enjoyed during my previous two visits. This time, however, they came out extremely pink and undercooked. I was shocked. The waitress told me they "don't cook them well done," but offered to take them back and have them cooked a little longer. Unfortunately, when they returned, they were still pink/red and literally bleeding. The waitress then said she was going to get "Mama" from the back. I told her that wasn't necessary if the restaurant simply does not prepare lamb chops well done anymore. I was very disappointed and didn't realize things had changed over the last few months. Overall, the customer service was poor, and the food quality was nowhere near what I experienced during my previous visits. The pictures shown are from when she brought them back to me.

No rush, super attentive, and our food came out hot, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. She deserves ALL the stars! For food, we ordered the Original Bloomin' Burger, juicy and flavorful just like Outback does best, and the Toowoomba Salmon --grilled salmon topped with seasoned, sautéed shrimp, mushrooms, and that creamy creole sauce. Whew! That dish alone keeps me coming back. It's THAT good. Another side was broccoli, and when Ana asked if we wanted it extra steamed, she was RIGHT. It came out perfect--fresh, hot, tender but not mushy. Truly no complaints. It was bustling and felt like a speakeasy in DC...quiet on the outside and a nice buzz of activity on the inside. The inside décor was unique and had a stage area, a bar about as huge or long as the restaurant, and lots of high-top tables with a few low top tables. There was also a party area. I am so surprised to find this place in Port Tobacco, I can't believe I haven't heard about it until recently. The waitress came over multiple times during our dining experience to check on us. My favorite part of the meal was when the Owner of the restaurant came over to personally introduce himself to us, compliment me, and proceed to have a conversation with us. That is outstanding customer service and will ensure you can bring people back. He told us some of the back story of the restaurant, made jokes, told us not to wait too long to return, and even gave us coffee and carrot cake dessert on the house (i.e. that he bragged his wife makes in house)!! I didn't know people still did that. I felt like one of those privileged rich kids with all the connections. That's a first for me. It was very memorable. FOOD We got the pork belly for appetizer, and the special of short ribs, brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes. The pork belly was excellent and it came with some sort of sweet potato hash under it. I honestly would like more of that as a full meal. The short ribs were also good, lean, and not overly sauced like at some places. The brussels had just enough crunch, and the mashed potatoes were perfectly seasoned. PARKING Parking is lot parking that wraps around the side.
