This Applebee's has gone downhill over the last couple of years. The prices are getting steep and it's too bad they eliminated the riblets from the menu as those were always a favorite. The service is OK, but nothing like it was 10-15 years ago. The last time we visited one of the steaks was severely under-cooked and tough to eat - it was Christmas Eve and we didn't want to ruffle any feathers so we didn't send it back. Applebee's needs to get back to basics - bring back the menu items that kept customers coming back and keep the prices reasonable. read more

I travel a lot for work, I'm gone from home almost every single week. Being on the road I crave the familiar. That's why I choose Applebee's. Seriously, I eat at Applebee's so often it's almost embarrassing. That said, I expect a certain consistency both in food and service. This was quite possibly my worst Applebee's experience ever. First, I ask the hostess if I can sit at one of the bar top tables. She said sure, you can go to table 35. Did she mistake me for someone who worked there?! How would I know these mysterious table numbers? Then I sit I wait for 9 minutes (yes I counted) for someone to come over. In this time the table next to me ordered drinks and got their drinks. No one ever acknowledged I was there! When my server did come over she did not apologize for my wait. Worst of all was my food. I ordered my favorite, Napa chicken and portobellos. I love this dish, I crave it. Unfortunately, only about half the dish was cooked. The veggies on it were practically raw. Raw onions, raw zucchini, raw potatoes. I would have told someone about this travesty, but no one asked me how my food was. Not my server. Not the manager floating around to all the tables except mine. Dine at your own risk fellow yelpers! And Applebee's, let this be a warning that solo dinners clearly traveling for business are hyper aware of service. Also, please cook the dish properly, I will cry if it ever gets pulled from the menu. read more

Its probably been 9 months since I had been at Applebee's. I can day I am disappointed. My sister and I usually get the 2/$20 meal. Sadly, to my surprise the steak is now on the 2/$25. We got the Artichoke spinach dip for our appetizer. It is half the size as it used to be and no longer comes with salsa. My steak was still fantastic. It brays Texas Roadhouse hands down. But they have an over infatuation with broccoli and are chintzy on the butter. Our server, Jordan O, was fantastic! I think it'll be awhile before I come back again. read more

My first time at Applebee's will be my last. The food was cold and eating the steak felt like chewing a raw hide. Upon delivery the food looked absolutely disgusting, and it tasted even worse. The only food that looked edible was a quesadilla ordered by the two year old. The shrimp that came on my friends steak were cold. They should have come with cocktail sauce. I like this establishment. The bartenders are great, especially Ashlea and Kayla. But I went in recently and sat at the bar to have a few beers. The bar was a little busy, but some annoying I'm guessing former employee was drinking with his buddy. This guy was so obnoxious! And everyone acted like he was God! I if the guy said the f word one more time I was going to be very upset that they would let him sit there and act like this way. It is not the bartenders fault. I saw managers letting this happen, isn't Apple Bees a neighborhood bar and grill for families?? We went to Applebees restaurant today (Veterans Day). Service was prompt and food was as ordered. They had an ROTC group in today to sing the NATIONAL ANTHEM. Used to come here alot. My family & I went a few weeks ago. Horrible experience. They waited until my husband & daughters food was brought out to tell me that they were out of what I ordered. Instead, they offered to bring me something else. They were out of that too! It's not like the old neighborhood grill that I used to know. That's for sure!! We came here for a quick bite my 6oz came out and 4oz of it was fat, I was pretty disappointed so I let the manager Daniel know, he didnt make me feel like I had to prove anything and within a few minutes I had a whole new steak! Thanks Applebee's for great customer service in 2017. read more

I normally enjoy Applebee's in general but this Applebee's has been consistently bad on every occasion I've went. My first experience here I asked for a happy hour menu. I proceeded to read 4 items off the happy hour menu. When I received the bill it showed full price for 2 of the items. I asked the waitress and she said I order the full price items. I told her that I only read items off the happy hour as I asked for it and I even pointed to the items on the happy hour menu as I ordered them. She said I didn't specify that it was off the happy hour menu (I was reading from it right in front of her!) she said she couldn't fix it. I told her she would have to speak to her manager because it was quiet obvious I was there for happy hour and only ordered items off that menu. She returned with the bill changed but had an attitude and said she would change it "just this one time". Second time I went I ordered a steak and it was the most rubbery steak Ive ever consumed. It was barely chewable, just plain rubbery. My third and last time probably ever visiting this Applebee's I was charged for a game that my 3 year old son played that I immediately told the waitress that it was a mistake (at the beginning of the meal) and she said it would be removed. This is not so much the fault of the waitress, rather Applebee's poor system of allowing games to be purchased without parents permission. Yes we watch our son but it takes all of a few seconds for him to grab a game pad and order a game, there should be a code that needs to be inputed in order for a game to be purchased. Either way the charge remained, further confirming my opinion that the service at this Applebee's is poor. I won't be returning. In new Jersey I went a couple times a month but this one is just plain disappointing 3 times in a row. read more

Waited forever to get our drink order from the bar. And they were NOT busy. Lots of staff standing around and no one seemed interested in removing and cleaning the copious amounts of dirty bar glasses taking up an entire corner of the counter. We had to look at dirty glasses for over an hour and when we left they were still there. Food was mediocre at best. By the time our waiter brought our second round of drinks - after being reminded twice- we were finished with our meal and ready for the check. Slow service- subpar food- obnoxiously loud music blaring, making it hard to have a conversation-please don't waste your time. There are lots of other choices in Pueblo where you can spend $60 on dinner and drinks for two, and have a lot better experience. read more

Dining in at Applebee's pueblo south location is a normal dining experience. The store manager has been spoke to over 3 times including in person when he is apologizing for my online order taking 25 minutes longer than I was told, he offered free meals and I said no thank you just get your staff under control and make food on time. Shouldn't be that hard to do, this is their business I suppose. Terrible curbside experience we just don't have enough selection to choose from. Chilis north pueblo works circles around applebees. The management on a levels should be surrendered to people who can do the job. read more

By far the worst restaurant in town. Today we were seated with no silverware and had to ask another server to get some after our meal was served. Our server only checked on us once and even that was a drive-by. I ordered the French Onion soup and Cesar Salad. The bread in my soup tasted like a slice of wheat bread and was gross and mushy, my salad was ok. My husband ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger and it had NO seasoning at all, completely bland. The drink my husband ordered was all ice, so after three sips, he had to wait over and over again for a refill. read more

Found a hair in our food... Our order took a really long time to come out... Ordered apps 2 for 9.50 and they came out about 7 mins apart! My hotwings came out cold and a hair in my salad! I usually hate to give low scores to establishments but I have been to this Applebee's (we refer to it as Applebee's north) a few times this most recent time was today. I have stopped coming to Applebee's because the service and food were so bad. Not much has changed. The place was only half full and there appeared to be plenty of help yet we sat without drinks refilled and silverware for several minutes. We had to finally get some from empty tables nearby. The soft drinks we ordered were 2.49 each I can go to the store and get a 12pk for that price. We ordered from the two for 20 meal and I ordered simple chicken tenders. I got five pieces of cold dried up tenders and about 16 fries. My wife ordered quesadilla burger and onion rings she got five burnt rings and a raw burger ordered medium well. This was a popular place to eat not long ago unfortunately it has gotten bad and has remained so. I won't return. read more

Horrible service and server was very rude we asked her for a drink and she responded by rolling her eyes and saying ya like really ? and a cpl other things she rudely rolled her eyes as we asked for our bill and we left the cash on the table next to the monitor like she asked then they ran after us in the parking lot accusing us of not paying we told them you better go look on the table our money is clearly there how rude so we went back in and told them we want our change back and they tried to say sorry we said we aren't leaving a tip with being accused of not paying and being chased in the parking lot esp after how the server was very rude to us !!!! My husband and I went for dinner one night. There were not many tables and 3 people at the bar. We were sat in the bar area and told Natasha would be our server. We looked through the menu and decided on our meals. After about 5 minutes we had been looked at by the bartender, some servers running food and the hostess, but no Natasha. The hostess even went looking for her, but never communicated anything to us. After sitting another few minutes we got up and left. The hostess told us to have a good night but no apologies at all. I eat at other Applebees when traveling and enjoy them. This location the last 3 visits were terrible. Waited over an hour on our last visit for food that the order was wrong. Not just one plate but all our order. This happened each of these visits. The portions were about half. The service was horrible. There is one thing to say about this Applebee's. 1 hour and 45 minutes for lunch. The bacon wasn't cooked even remotely. The pasta was about 70 degrees and we were told about 5 times over an hour or so the food was being put on our plates and would be out shortly. I'd like to give the Applebee's on Elizabeth some good remarks and I would highly recommend this establishment, due to the quality of service, and of course the food. The finest aspect of my visit was the server that waited our table, here name was Jewel. She was not only very attentive to us, but had the best attitude, like she loved her job, sounds simple, though I've experienced many times in the past with servers doing a job as if they can't stand it. With Jewel this wasn't the case, she was amazingly nice and genuinely cared to make sure we had a great experience. Her personality resonated with us, that I had to write this review, if you have a chance to visit this particular Applebee's do so and ask to be seated with Jewel's section. read more
